EDIT: Tire Discounters reaches out to me through this google review so i contacted them. After several days I received no response so I filed a complaint with the BBB. Tire Discounters response was that they aren’t responsible and all they would do is offer me a tire at cost, even though one of their techs are to blame for the current state of my tire. ———————————————————————— This tire discounters is the worst one I’ve been to. I had a road hazard warranty on all of my tires and I took one in to have it patched. Not only did they not patch it properly, causing me to have a flat by the time I got home, but the guy ripped the screw out of the tire, pulling a piece of the rubber out with it. AND THEN they tried to make me pay for the patch even though the road hazard warranty covered it. A different tire discounters manager tested the tire and couldn’t see a leak coming from the chunk of rubber being gone, but the tire loses hair very slowly and has to be aired up about once every month or so. My road hazard warranty expired three days after the patch was done so this TD refused to replace the tire that they damaged. Now my car tire makes a noise and I’m hoping it doesn’t blow out before I need another one. This TD is horrible, the one on Taylorsville Rd and Preston Hwy by Gene Snyder are way better. Two of the pictures below show where they simply yanked the screw out and just stuck a plug in the whole. NO patch at all. The other picture is of the flat tire once I got home.

I've used this Tire Discounters location many times over the years and always have a good experience, but had a particularly great experience this week. I had to get my brakes taken care of and they got me in for an 8:30 appt the next day (I called towards the end of the day). Since we only have one car, my toddler and I had planned to spend the morning there. They did offer to get us a car somewhere, but I had brought things to entertain him and we took many walks. They always interacted with him when popping in the waiting room and "chatted" with him when he was clearly addressing them (my son babbles, but doesn't talk yet). Stephen got a balloon for him. I was just about to grab it and tie one of my son's cars to it before it got away, but I was too slow. Stephen got a second balloon for him, but this time put about a 15 ft string on it. My son had a blast and played with it for the rest of the day. I know I can trust them with my car, but it means even more to me that they treated myself and son with such kindness and went out of their way to make sure he was entertained and having a good time.

Damien always takes great care of me. As you can tell, it wasn’t the best day. One of my guest ran off the road hit a curb or something extremely hard, bent the rim and put a hole in the tire. Like always, they took great care of me had great communication, no different than what I typically do by dropping the vehicles off for Service ,oil change, etc and they get me an Uber back to the house. They’ll call me when it’s ready and have an Uber. Pick me up. Couldn’t ask for any better service. Always honest and professional.

We bought 6 tires and got an alignment. Once completed, we left and found the balancing and alignment wasn't right. We called and was asked to come back so they could make it right. They rebalanced all 6 tires. The same mechanic who did the first alignment, still didn't get the alignment right and had an attitude with my husband. The truck still pulls to the left. We will need to have our truck alignment done a third time, but not by that mechanic.

They had my car for a total of 3 hours after the initial plan for oil change and tire rotation turned into waiting for tie rod parts to arrive since the OEM equipment pieces were worn out. They failed to do the simplest thing and put the oil cap back on so that I started to smell oil when I was driving because it was being sprayed out of the top of the motor on to all the hot components in the engine bay. There is now oil in the sound deadening layer attached to the underside of the hood and coating much of the electric wires, plumbing hoses, and hard surfaces. This is after they made a permanent ghetto rig modification to my car without consent from the last time I went there for an oil change and tire rotation. They drilled a hole in the door handle latch which had broken, but was still usable. There is space between the two hinges that the handle piece is mounted to where they could have routed the zip tie without it being a permanent modification. I thought I would give them a second chance but it is now proved detrimental not only for the potential catastrophic engine damage that could have happened were I not paying attention and I will not be going back because they may have done equally substandard work on the tie rod repair and that is a vital safety piece which I won't know if it was done wrong until I have a crash.

Great shop!! Pulled in with a flat tire and was brought right in. Road Hazard covered it so it was a free fix and they still hustled to get me out. The crew seemed to get along well, joking with one another and smiling. Thanks for the speedy repair, I am a small business owner and time is $$$$!!!! I find TD tires to be fair priced and good brands. Have had only good experiences with both locations I have been too. You guys rock, keep up the great work.

Used to be my go to place. Not anymore. Stopped by to get a rotation and drop off my trailer tire for repair. The store was pretty busy, so I decided to skip the rotation and just get the trailer tire repaired. I was familiar with the guy who wrote me up since I've been here many times before. As he wrote me up I explained that I need the trailer tire repaired from the inside with a patch since I had to plug a leak in the tire to get my trailer home. He said to leave the tire and they would get it taken care of for me. Picked up and paid for the repair the next day and when I put it back on the trailer I noticed it seemed under inflated. Checked it and then filled it to the proper pressure. Next day it has lost air again. I pulled it off the trailer and took it back to the store. As I was backing in a few minutes before they opened at 8 I noticed an employee walk over to the front door and I thought was unlocking the door. I walked up to the door and waited without trying it because the open sign was still off and the lights inside were not completely on. About 8:01 the same employee came and unlocked the door. He had actually locked the door so I couldn't get in before 8am. Nice gesture there. He didn't open the door for me, but just unlocked it and walked back to the front counter. I came in and the same employee who waited on me 2 days earlier asked if he could help me. I asked for a rotation on my vehicle and also wanted to get my trailer tire looked at because it was still leaking around the plug I had to put in it. He informed they couldn't work on previous repairs they didn't do because it was company policy. I asked him why he didn't tell me that before when I dropped my tire off for repair 2 days earlier. No response except they couldn't help me. Company policy. I asked why I wasn't told this before and asked what am I supposed to do now. The friendly door locker chimed in with he could sell me a new tire. The other guy said he could refer me to some competitors that may do the repair. What? Your trying to send me elsewhere now. Being aggravated I let them know I would have to think about doing further business with them. As I walked to my vehicle I thought I'm going to go back in and ask for a refund on the work that was obviously not done. The same employee I had been dealing with said he could submit a refund, but it would take a couple of weeks. Company policy. Im now pretty aggravated and said that's ridiculous. You've just lost a customer. No response from either guy. Nothing. They could've cared less. On my way home I stopped at a local automotive place in Mt Washington where I live. I went in and explained what had happened and what repair I would like to have done. He said let's go take a look at what you have. He agreed the tire had pretty good tread and also that a plug was not a good way to repair the tire. He took a picture of the tire and expanded the photo to see the manufacture date. 17th week of 2019. He said I would recommend new tires because of the age. I agreed and ended up purchasing 4 new trailer tires. This location finished the job the next day and when I went to pick up my new trailer tires they actually rotated my vehicle tires for me. No charge. Now that's great customer service. Completely different experience than what I received from TireDiscounters. Bottom line is I would recommend going to a different business for your repair and tire needs. If you still happen to do business with this location then I suggest getting a quote on your new tires. Check with your local dealer of whatever brand car you drive and get a quote from them. Something I didn't do when I bought my tires from this location. I think you may be surprised at what you find out. I know I was.

David and his one worker didn't have too show up today 1/26/26 because of the storm but they showed up and took care of me well into after closing time. His worker had too go through so many hoops too make it too work. And I really just applaude him and his work ethic. Needs a promotion as the other managers didn't make it this day. Difference in drive if you ask me. Also made me feel very taken care of and happy as a customer and aquaintence..... these two guys are worth their weight in gold and then some. I recently bought 4 new tires prior to this visit and customer service was good. Came in today for a scheduled oil change and can’t say the same. I would say I was greeted but I said good morning to 3 different people and no one said anything back. That’s fine everyone has bad days I guess. When I finally got to talk to someone the GM David he was very rude. Everything was very short and rude as if he hated his job. I asked about the oil change terms because obviously I’m just a girl asking questions about an oil change. I was told the oil change was free when you purchase 4 new tires. He put out a big sigh as if i was bothering him by asking a simple question. He told me the terms of the oil change was in the paperwork and that I should have read it. He then proceeded to tell the next customer (I believe to be a regular) that he was happy to see her and he needed something to brighten up his day. As if I was getting on his nerves. I can honestly say I’ve never been treated so poorly/rudely by any tire discounter employee. Me and my family have been coming to tire discounter for years (not this location) I will not be a returning customers. Wish I could give 0 stars. Definitely do not recommend!
