I paid extra to the tow company to have my car brought here because of how courteous and honest these people are. Mike has fixed my car twice now. I get good vibes from everyone I have dealt with here.

Brought my Lexus there last week for my first time there. I was very pleased with the attentive service I received. It was nice that they even gave me a loaner car. I'll be back. Have already recommended to a friend.

We have been going to Tokyo Town for years. Great service and prices. Quality work. Glad they have the drop off for after hours. We trust them and know they are never going to try to up-sell us on a service we don't need.

Probably the best service I have ever had for my car. Ken explained what he thought the problem might be, found the kink and reminded me that my car will make funny noises if I keep putting cheap gas in it. Since I plan to put at least another 100,000 miles on my little red car, Swedish Auto hasn't seen the last of me.

These guys are grea!. Bill Signs runs a great shop. Service is always courteous. I've been coming here for years. Mike, who services my Toyota tells me what I need to do, but also what I don't need to do. I trust Swedish Auto to do the right thing.

Outstanding honest service. we took our v70 wagon there for 5+ years until we sold it. Will bring my new s60 there for ongoing maintenance as well. Bill and his team do a great job.

We have used Tokyo. Town for over 30 years to service all of our Toyotas. We have owned 5: one FJ62 Landcruiser and four 4Runners. We also use them to perform pre-buy inspections of any used Toyota that we purchase. They are TERRIFIC! Knowledgeable and honest. They have a respect for older Toyotas and know what should be repaired and what can slide. They keep our Toyotas running in tip top shape. It's not unusual for our cars to exceed 200K miles! We love Tokyo Town! Highly recommend.

I have had a long-standing relationship with Swedish Auto/Honda House - I took my Volvo S60 to them for everything for years. They never tried to upsell me on anything, they were honest, and they explained every problem and fix clearly. Every time I left the shop, my car drove better, giving me great confidence in them. Now I have traded in my Volvo for a Honda Accord, and I take the car to them for every type of repair and maintenance. I even live farther away from them than I used to and still make sure to not go to anyone else - except for two weeks ago when I needed an emergency oil change so I took it to a place near to where I was. That shop (which I will not name) told me I needed repairs that I did not need, and did not catch everything that needed to be done - they wanted to replace one side of control arm bushings but both sides needed to be changed while telling me that repairs were needed that were not needed. I chose to consult Ken at Swedish Auto/Honda House and he knew exactly what to fix, and he charged me less than the other place quoted me to fix one side - and Ken did repairs on both sides! I highly recommend Swedish Auto/Honda House - they aim to do things in the most upright, honest, and legitimate way every time. The things alleged in the bad reviews seem out of character for Swedish Auto and Honda House, and after 4 years of taking my Volvo to them, and a little over a year of taking my Honda to them, I feel I know them well enough to call out those bad reviews as illegitimate.

Honda Haus/Toyota Town. For most of the 13 years that I owned my Honda I took it here. These people make you feel as if you are in good honest hands instead of a car repair shop and it is true. On top of that imagine how reassuring it is that every time I've waited on service, customers coming and going would take the time to stop and assure me that I was in good hands.

Excellent and Reliable Service! I have been taking my Acura, Honda, and Lexus vehicles to Tokyo Town - Swedish Auto for over 15 years. They are trustworthy, honest, and reliable. I would not take my vehicles anywhere else for service. Their team is awesome!

They did a basic diagnostic, and wanted to do more work, but I declined and I would not take my car here again. They claim compassion by offering multiple financing options, but when you tell them no, they take offense, sigh, and get frustrated at the customer. The customer service model here is not up to par, so I would not have them work on my car. I am a pretty tolerating, laid back person with a long fuse, but if you want my business, then you gotta treat the person, not just the car. P.S. - Bill, per your call to my wife, to have my Google review removed - I feel that is borderline bullying and another symptom of a broken customer service model. I'd recommend against doing that with your customers (especially since I left this review months ago and Google just now decided to approve it, so your call came out of the blue.) However, if you had just called to listen, learn and get our feedback and really talk with us instead of threatening to report my review, then you would have gotten a lot farther with us. Also, our star-rating probably would have gone up in stars instead of down.

I have coming here off and on for 20+years. Friends of my wife had our business for 5-7 years but I always keep coming back here. Recently bought a used Honda for inspection and now having a/c inspected since they pointed that out when I bought the car. I trust them and that is more than I can say for most mechanics I have visited in the DFW area. I have a strong mechanical background but don't have tools or time to fix cars. This is where I go.

I was traveling through Texas and broke down. The original problem was fixed in Austin and on the way to Dallas check engine light comes on. This auto shop was fantastic. They looked at my Honda CRV and verified this car was good for the 17 hour journey. It was reasonably priced for a overall check on my car. Car made it back to AZ and it's still doing good.

My Toyota Avalon had an issue with a front wheel vibration at speed. I brought it in to the team at Tokyo Town for a diagnosis and repair. I was greeted by the delightful Peggy at the front desk who took down all my information and made sure I had a ride. The Gentleman working on the car called me just a few hours later with the diagnosis of a worn out wheel bearing. He felt it was possibly both but wanted to work on the one he was sure of first to ensure that it was not just one. I appreciated him putting in the effort to confirm his diagnosis instead of just charging me for both. At the end of the day, it was both unfortunately. A few hours after that I got the call that the car was ready I and stopped by to pick it up. Great service and I will be back. I appreciate the fact that they have loaner cars available even though I did not need one on this occasion.

I have mixed feelings. I had a great experience with the previous ownership, but since the shop has been bought out there are two things that this place does incredibly poorly in my opinion, especially for a customer who has spent a significant amount of money with the shop. 1 - They refuse to put the diagnostic cost towards the repair. Ok fine, that's all well and good, however, I have a diagnostic and know exactly what's wrong with my car, and they refuse to even estimate the service for cost of a repair that I know I need. This is unfortunate. I usually don't write reviews, but based on my track record in shopping with this place, this is an incredibly disappointing experience.

After my car passed its 100,000 mile mark, I dropped my car off to have it inspected for problems. Swedish Auto - Tokyo Town did an exceptional job! They provided me with a loaner car, updated me later during the day with the issues they found, and performed all work at a very reasonable price. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and takes pride in keeping cars running as long as possible. In fact, they have a wall in their lobby with pictures of drivers next to their high mileage cars. Highly recommended.

I own a Toyota and a Volvo and I will not take them anywhere but here! When I first moved back to DFW I was going to dealers but could never trust what they told me nor could I handle their prices. I now go to Tokyo Town for everything including oil changes. These guys know their stuff and are very direct and honest. It's also so cool to know the guy who is actually performing the work on my cars since they don't have a lot of turnover (95% of the time it's been Ken for me). They will also let you rent a car for very cheap if you need to drop yours off!

I found Tokyo Town after searching for Lexus mechanics on Google and I am so glad I found this place! I wanted to try an independent shop instead of a stealership I brought my 2004 Lexus IS300 in for defective tail lights and brake lights. I had spent a couple days trying to solve the issue myself. I replaced the bulbs/fuses and tracking down the wiring with a multimeter, but I could not figure out why my lights weren't working. Luckily, Mike was able to track down the root of the issue and fix it in just a couple of hours. I appreciated that he called me a couple times while having a look at my car to keep me in the loop. Although I dropped my car off at 7am, they were running a bit behind and my car wasn't ready until the morning after. This was no issue, as Tokyo Town provides complimentary loaner cars. I saw some reviews knocking this shop because of their loaner cars. I will admit, the vehicles in their loaner fleet are a bit dated, but might I remind everyone that the loaner cars here are COMPLIMENTARY? This isn't Park Place Lexus, so if you're expecting to be given a brand new Lexus, you'll be a bit disappointed. However, with the money you save having your car serviced here, you could rent a nicer vehicle if that's really a concern. Bill runs a great shop and most importantly, the mechanics here are HONEST. As someone who personally works on his own cars as a hobby, I appreciate the honesty and transparency which is sometimes hard to find from an auto mechanic. God forbid I need to come back any time soon, but I will definitely be taking my Lexus back here next time it needs service! PROS: - honest mechanics - great prices - new customer discount! - complimentary loaner cars CONS: - loaner vehicles are a bit old (not really an issue for me, but worth mentioning) All in all, I would highly recommend this shop if you are looking for a Volvo/Lexus/Toyota specialist.

Business has merged with another business. Had a check engine light pop up and wanted to go by to have them check it out, since I had heard great hings about them a couple of years ago so I thought I would give them a try. Flat fee for plugging machine up to get results, but they don't apply the 149.00 to the repair cost. May not be a big deal to anyone else but first time I've had that experience. I'm sure they're great at what they do, but won't be on my dime.

I have mixed feelings. At first, i loved it. The staff is great, the ability to offer loaners is awesome. Buy, this is the thing that has caused my opinion to slightly change. My initial visit was a thorough inspection of my recent cash purchased vehicle. Later that day, I called and spoke to mechanic and asked about adding a small upgrade (lift kit) nothing dramatic just springs and struts. I specifically asked could my vehicle handle in addition yo taller wheels just a size up. Yes. Okay, so got the lift kit completed by another person went for an alignment and was told by two different locations I need upper and lower control arms, rack and pinion. I couldn't believe it. I thought, I should call the mechanic who initially reviewed it and recap our conversation and tell him what's going on. He had me bring it in to examine and did suggest upper and lower arms but not sure just yet if the rack and pinion needed replacing. I asked if he could power wash underneath my vehicle since I had a leak fixed there and quoted me $300. The pricing I got was way above the others and to top off my visit, I was charged $130 for him to now tell me I needed these things when I paid that initially on my 1st visit.
