What can I say? They actually made breaking down with a bad alternator and dead battery a pleasurable experience. Once my car was towed from Moriarity to the Baymont Inn and Suites in the middle of the night, I was devastated. I'm from Indiana and travelling with my elderly parents. The next morning I was referred to Quirks. I shopped around, of course, but Tom Quirk gave me the best price. I had the car towed to his place, and asked them to check the AC, as it was not working real well, either. They said they'd start the next day, and I took a nap. I missed their call during my nap that the car was already fixed!!! I called them back and they said to pick it up the next morning so they could make sure there were no more AC leaks. The next morning I arrived at Quirks afraid that this out of town girl was gonna pay dearly for a new AC compressor and a new battery as well as the alternator. NOPE, just a simple AC leak, they fixed the leak, charged the AC, recharged my original battery, replaced the alternator and all for UNDER $550.00. I was told by the man that referred me to Tom Quirks automotive that they were fair and very competent. They certainly are. Thanks guys. and you were also right about T or C...nothing there but a beautiful lake.

I have to drive 80 miles to get my car serviced here, but for significant repairs it is worth it. They charge what is needed but not more. Tom will tell you what service can be deferred if you can't afford it all.

Another excellent job by Tom Quirk auto. They performed a radiator flush, checked for any TSB’s and found a transmission fluid update from orange to yellow. They also checked the transmission and brake fluid’s which didn’t need changed. They are my trusted shop for my vehicles.

Incredibly efficient friendly and fast. My wife and I were stunned at how fast our Jeep was repaired. Definitely a good old boys place. They fixed my car but charged the same as dealership. Charged a diagnostic of $120, when I already knew the problem. They replaced my battery but didn't tell me that the air conditioning would turn off. So i had to drive back in 100° weather. Maybe they should turn it back on. What a concept. I hope they think about trying to be understanding with all of their customers.

There I was 1900 miles from home, headed to a once in a lifetime Jeep trip, and my Gladiator lost power 60 miles outside of Albuquerque. Limped into the Jeep dealership only to be told “we can’t look at it for two days, and won’t be able to work on it right way”. I found a local offroad shop and they told me to go see Colby at Tom Quick Automotive. I went to the shop and explained to Colby what was going on, he pulled the codes and told me he would have someone look at it first thing in the morning. Did I forget to mention they were scheduling work two weeks out? The next morning they discovered I had a bad sensor. They replaced the sensor and I was only way to meet the rest of my group in Utah. Thanks Colby, and the Tom Quick Automotive team. You guys are the best.
