Toms Truck Repair is awesome not only did they get the repairs done in a timely manner I was able to pay my bill by phone and they delivered my vehicle to me! The staff is professional and friendly!!! Thank you and I recommend this place to everyone who wants an honest shop that don’t take advantage of its customers.

I took my truck there to get a diagnosis because my truck has a loss of power and a little black smoke. They said it will be a couple days before they can look at it. It took them 8days to look at it. Said they couldn't continue to look at my truck because they had problems communicating with my ECM. Emailed me an invoice for almost $1000 . I asked them to explain why they are charging so much but never did. All I asked them was how many hours they worked on truck and what they charge per house because it's not listed on invoice. They never did. To make matters worse, I drove the truck there just fine, but I had to pay another $400 to get towed out of shop on top of the $1000 smh. Doesn't seem fair .

These guys here know there stuff. Fair and priced right. Been there 3 times and they stand behind what they do. Had warranty issue and they said bring it back if u can if not get it fix and we will take care of it. Thanks Eric, Andy Jeremy Kevin Josh and of course a shout-out to vern

I lost clutch function on I-64 traveling through St Louis on my way from Florida to Iowa. Dead on the side of the road, I quickly determined it was a linkage problem between my clutch and my clutch pedal. Being from out of town, I Googled "truck mechanic" and found Tom's, and was pleased to see they were open 24x7. When I got to the shop Vern met me and offered me red carpet service. The part I needed was only worth a few cents, but Vern went out of his way to crawl up under my truck, fit the exact part I needed, and leave me with extras in case I needed them on the remainder of my drive. Then the most amazing thing happened. He sent me on my way at NO CHARGE!!! Thank you Vern! And thank you Tom's Truck Repair. You were a godsend.

They did a great job for me. I have my 11 yr old daughter with me and my dog. The truck had all the shocks on the rear and the 2 bags on the passenger side go down while here in st louis for a stop. So the guys here at Tom's Truck Repair got me in after lunch and got me out in the early evening. Not only that but, the poor fella was on the pavement out in the sun and heat working on the truck just to get my daughter, the dog and I back moving. And then it rained on him but he got it done. These guys are definitely recommended. Also after they finished we noticed that the rear tires weren't on the ground so needed a air leveler also. So they got the part and installed in less than 2hrs and a total of about I'd say 5-5 and a half hours. Also more reasonably priced then a dealer and better service. I'd still be waiting till the next week to get in a bay at a dealership, so I appreciate you fellas and wish yall the best

Absolutely The Best Crew Around! Polite, Kind and Helped Without Hassle. Did A Great Job. I Had Stopped At Wedge Tire And Was Treated just rude. They didn't have time to help they were closing. But they didn't have to be rude! What they didn't know was that we move over 1000 trucks through St Louis a month! Tom's Truck Repair Didn't Know This Either. But They Told Me Sure Come on We'll Fix You Up. They Did To! Guess Who Gets Our Business In The St Louis Area. Lesson on You Never Know Who you don't have time for. Charlie and the courteous crew at Tom’s Truck Repair are amazing! They have earned a new and very satisfied customer! One of our shuttle buses was in a hit and run accident. The damages sustained rendered it inoperable. Charlie sent a tow truck out to pick up our disabled vehicle that afternoon – no charge! He had it repaired AND DELIVERED to us the next day – which saved us having to find two drivers to retrieve our shuttle bus from the shop. His mechanic even came out and installed a replacement mirror on our parking lot! We transport more than 200 elderly and developmentally disabled adults daily so it’s a real hardship whenever one of our shuttle buses is taken out of service for repairs. None of the dealership or mechanic shops we normally use could fit us into their schedules for the next 4-6 weeks and we do not have the budget to cover the added quarantine-inflated expenses of renting a shuttle bus to cover our clients’ transportation needs for an entire month. Everyone at Tom’s Truck Repair was professional, courteous and very helpful. Southside Wellness Center definitely will be sending our vehicles to Tom’s Truck Repair for future maintenance and repairs.

I usually don't leave reviews but these guys got me back in the road when I really needed to. My hydraulic hose to my clutch brake went out and I needed it replaced. I had already gotten the hose from the volvo dealer which they had said it would be a couple of days till they got to my truck to replace the hose. I called different repair shops in St. Louis and they all said they were pretty busy pretty much for the whole week. I have to admit I had called Tom's earlier that morning and they had told me they were pretty busy too. I decided to give them a second call after everyone kept telling me the same and Charlie answered and told me to bring it in and they would get to it first thing in the morning. Next day they called me telling me my truck was ready. I'm finally back on the road and all thanks to these guys, they did a great job at a reasonable price. Soo thankful with them and will gladly take my truck again for repairs at their shop 👌

Wonderful and fast service! Had an issue with our truck while on vacation. Called these guys on the weekend and even though the shop was closed, they called us right back and shuffled a few things around so they could get us in first thing Monday. Had the truck fixed the same day and they even showed us how to fix it if it happened again. Before our trip, we had just done a major repair, but the truck ran better after 3 hours with these guys than it did in the three weeks our mechanic had it!

I had a small coolant hose leak, they got to me right away and had me fixed and ready to roll in half an hour. And they were the most friendly place I've been to in a LONG time. I would recommend Tom's to anyone. And most important they were very reasonable with the price.

Dropped my truck off at Toms to have a few things done. When I was there it sounded like they would get it in and do good work. Little did I know this place might be the worst. They would never call with an update after a week. Then 10 days go by and I call, they’re still working on it. About 2.5 weeks into it I just decided to go up there. Received very few answers on why things weren’t done. They only had about half the things done after 2.5 weeks. Cost me 3 weeks down and a couple grand in repairs. Still had to take it to another shop to complete everything else. This place should be avoided at all costs. The owner does not care about business.

I had a blown head gasket repair here the service was very good the technicians that worked on my truck told me what I needed to hear not what I wanted to hear they were able to get my truck up and going even with a past history on the truck I would definitely recommend them again
