If you have an older european import or exotic, this is the place to go. Superdave really knows his stuff. He personally spent hours tracking down an electrical fault in my Jaguar, and did not charge me extra. I will be back.

Found this shop by chance, I have been dealing with a coolant issue for over a year, dealership was just trying to throw parts at it and giving me the run around, top gear got me in and replaced the thermostat in the same day I called, staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, they saved me money compared to the dealership and finally have my 2017 jaguar f pace fixed, this is my new go to shop

Highly recommended....Top Gear did some work on my Porsche 911 after I bought it from a local dealer...the work they did was top notch, and they were very flexible and helpful working with me as I was from out-of-state. I took my 1987 Rolls Royce Silver Spur to Top Gear to get the driver side door lock fixed and also have them look at the passenger window rolling up slowly. When I went to check on the vehicle and while the car was disassembled and the door panels were off, I asked Al to check a wire regarding the interior lights turning on. Also, they had to order a part that they told me would take two days to come in. I checked a week and a half later and they still didn’t have it. My car was up there for over a month and I gave them another week and said I would come and get the car whether it was ready or not. When I went the following week, the car was still disassembled, there were parts all over the floor of the car, and there was paint damage on multiple spots that were not there when I brought the car in. While the car was there for over a month, it was sitting underneath another car being worked on, uncovered, with oil dripping on it. I asked Top Gear about this when I saw it, they in turn used something to clean off the car that has stripped the paint and left multiple scratches and nicks. The car was dirty, the hood was always left up, and even the engine was dirty. When I brought it in, the car was immaculate. They even commented on that when I first brought it in. During the whole time Top Gear had my car, I never received a phone call nor was I informed of any additional work or the total price on the repairs. I repeatedly on each visit told Al to notify me and not to run up a high bill because he knew I was putting the car in storage. The only call I received was the day I went to pick up the car. I was shocked about the condition of the car, the length of time that it was there, and the bill I was presented with.

This is a fraud company and actually steal money from customer. I had an Audi which had problem in transmission, these guys told me they can give it a look and give me an estimation. Wow, the estimation was not free (which was never mentioned before), charged me $600 and $50/each day to keep the vehicle at their place. When I denied to pay they threatened to dispose the car and make the outstanding money from it. I had a horrible experience with Dave Juntunen, Neil.

Don't bring your car here! I paid for the diagnostic service and all they did was read the check engine code which I could do myself with my $40.00 code reader. Beyond knowing the code they couldn't diagnose the cause of the code any further. Just wanted to start randomly replacing parts at my expense. Spent almost $600.00 and it ran worse that when I brought it there. Charged $100.00 (and that was a discount!) to tell me my air filter was fine even though I already knew it was. They keep saying they are "really good at what they do" however couldn't give me a quote for fixing what was wrong. So unless you are willing to spend a bunch of money having them throw parts at your car hoping to find the problem, go somewhere else.

I bought an older Mercedes convertible and found Top Gear online. What a mistake. I had a terrible experience and my car runs worse than when I brought it to them after spending almost $3,000 to get my car back. I was upset that my car could not even be driven home after spending almost $3k. I drove it there. I talked to 3 people before I took them to court and all had bad experience with Top Gear. I had never been to court before. Super Dave, the owner showed up in court with attorney. Found out he has been in court at least 30 times for 59 charges. Obviously he knew what judge wanted to see. He won, I lost. They will have lots of comments about my car and prior mechanics and my unfortunate experience. Do your research. There are a lot of people and places to take your car. Do not take it to this guy!!! Again do your research. Don't be a victim!!! Again. This guy is sketchy to say the least. There are other places to take your car. Don't find out the hard way Nice response,... 4 years later . Buyer beware.

Scam artist. After he agrees to a price you bring him your car and the games begin. Price goes up 10 times your car never gets worked on he scratches and dents everything literally ruins your exotic vehicle then demands more money any never fails xea anything . Literally need to warn people to NEVER BRING YOUR EXOTIC OR SPORTS CAR TO HIM. YOU COULD THANK ME LATER . PLEASE DONT EVER DO BUISNESS WITH THIS SCAM ARTIST. He talks fast to make you feel comfortable like he knows what he's doing lol, what he is doing is taking people's cars hostage then keeping all the first payments you send him. This is a warning to never trust this poor excuse for a mechanic. Just think everyone that has worked for him quit . Always . If you value your investment and loved vehicles this person should never be allowed near your car's. He is deliberately working a scam on everyone .

Stay Away!!! These guys are incompetent scam artists. I brought my Ferrari in for repairs. After an absurd amount of time and over $40,000 I still ended up having to bring it to Ferrari of Minneapolis who actually fixed the problems. Dave and his team are incompetent when it comes to working on a Ferrari. They are short staffed, and never meet a deadline. Stay away from Top Gear and go to the Ferrari dealer instead. Save your time and money.
