It was a Friday. I own an F350 diesel. I had the family, the truck and the trailer fully loaded and headed on vacation. In Tacoma our truck started having serious issues. I limped it to the nearest Ford dealer and went in and explained the emergency I was having. The service person told me he could make an appointment for me for Tuesday. I explained to him that I was currently broken down in his parking lot and wondered if someone could look at it and let me know if I could drive it home. He repeated that he could get me an appointment on Tuesday. I walked out beyond disappointed and frustrated and worried how I was going to get my fully loaded truck and trailer home and how that was going to work with my dog, 7 month pregnant wife and 2 year old. I pulled around the corner and googled diesel mechanics nearby. By a stroke of absolute luck I came across the guys at Total Performance Inc. I called them, explained my situation and asked if there was anything they could do to help me. I'll tell you right now it was the complete opposite of Ford. They told me to come on over and that it would be $100 to check it out. No problem be right there. They accommodated me and my trailer by allowing me to park in the alley. Me, my wife and my (sometimes annoying and growling) dog sat in their office for a while as the truck cooled and allowed them to assess the issues. They were able to determine that I was having an issue with a sensor in the transmission but assured me I could drive it home without damaging my truck. They also added a couple quarts to my transmission cause it was low. I thanked them profusely and got my wallet out to pay and they informed me that it was no charge.....WHAT?!!! That doesn't happen these days. I shoved a twenty at them so I could at least buy them lunch or something to drink. Of course they refused. But I didn't let them. So how can I recommend a shop that didn't repair my truck?? Quite easily. These guys were honest, knowledgeable and professional. The shop was very nice and extremely clean too. I will be forever thankful to the mechanics at Total Performance Inc. and I will not hesitate to go back or to recommend them to a friend. Thanks again guys!!!

They diagnosed and resolved several electrical issues I have been having for months on my diesel and other mechanics could not. They fixed it quickly and my truck seems to still be running great. I also brought my gas Yukon in for repairs and got the same great service. I would definitely recommend them.

Amazing service, had my 2005 2500 Cummins serviced at Dodge awhile back horrible service spent 5k and things weren’t fixed lol. Had some terrible noise while driving and so I found this shop and paid a diagnostic fee and they went above and beyond just a normal diagnostic fee, told me a lot of things that were wrong and or needed to be looked at and addressed. I highly recommend this shop over any dealership when it comes to diesel trucks or trucks in general, actually treated me like a customer which is hard to find now days. Thanks to John and the crew at total performance you will be getting my business again in the future.

I originally took my Acura to the dealership. they wanted over $9,000 to repair the issue. I took it to Total performance and they were able to take care of it for just over $1000 . they kept me up to date on the progress. they were very honest from the beginning. no extra cost at the end. honestly one of the best shops I've been to in years. I highly recommend this shop. they have integrity and highly skilled mechanics that are willing to go above and beyond to troubleshoot any issues.

I just got an oil change / 30k service here for my F-150. Pretty simple but they got me in quicker than the dealership could. They knew the vehicle requirements and used the manufacturer recommended oil type. Saved me about $200 compared to the dealer (I did the air filters myself at home). Also worked around my aftermarket drain plug, and used it correctly (unlike the dealer). Would go back here again in a heartbeat when needed.

Always reliable, never over estimates repairs. The estimate and service is what you pay, unless you authorize additional work. Trustworthy repairs on all my vehicles. I'd rather have my repairs done at Total Performance than the over priced and over rated dealer service department. We have been coming to Total Performance for major and minor repair and maintenance work for a long time. We have Chevy pickups and a Tahoe. Both for gas engines and Diesel engines. We have never been disappointed. Their communication with us is very good. They will share pictures and parts that needed replaced. The prices are fair and can be justified. Had total engine failure on my truck. They helped me with an engine swap and backed up all of their work with a warranty. I had a check engine light about 6 months later and they looked at it and told me the problem and how to fix it myself for no charge. Overall I think this is the most honest shop I've ever dealt with and they are very reasonably priced for excellent work and a great group to work with. Best customer service! I will continue to come here for all my vehicles in the future.

I went to this auto shop expecting the worst and walked away with the best. They are more than amazing. Worked with me on price. Fixed everything that needed to be fixed and also were the most kind and polite people I have ever talked to. They genuinely gave me a peace of mind for me and my son's safety. We had broke down on the freeway after buying my car and they inspected it and fix the crank shaft position sensor and timing belt along with some other minor things. I love this shop and will continue to go to them for any maintenance or repairs I need. 😊 Ps. There's a reason they're top rated. 💯

Cant say enough great things about this shop. Had my 4runner taken to another shop where I was told I had $4000 worth of things that needed immidiate attention, so i came to Total Performance for a 2nd opinion and had an actual honest inspection. The repairs in question werent as dire as I was told they were and they only recommended 2 things I could take care of, when I have time to do them. Also, id like to note, they charged me $90 for a pre-purchase inspection, which goes over everything and most other shops i called were $250 or more. Just due to the honesty, transparency, great customer service and cost, I wont be going anywhere else for any and all future work on my truck. Highly, highly recommend!!
