Just had my oil changed and the service team is always friendly and service is timely. They give me a time frame and usually are always done before. They keep me in the know on what is I will soon need done and give me quotes on the cost. Thank you for all you do every day.

Everything was great until I was leaving the lot, after maintenance was done, and my maintenance message was still on - they forgot to clear it - as usual. I drove back in and they took the ccar and tried to clear the message. It kept coming back - they said it was for an oil change. I asked why they did not suggest an oil change - they said I should have asked for one. And then told me that the owner needs to assume some responsibility for what they want done. At that point it went from 5 star service to one star, He said that other customers may use another place for oil changes. My response was 'Maybe I should do that. ' He said 'You could'. After that complete silence. I got in my car and drove away. No one said goodbye or anything. It's the little things that keep customers. I have noticed customer service has declined over the last 8 years that I have owned my vehicle and have been using Toyota of York, exclusively. It is time to more on.

My service team is fantastic. I use Steve Bond and his service crew. They are great. Steve is helpful and cares about his quality of service that he & his team provides. The staff is also friendly. There's a nice sized waiting room with a separate children's area. There's free coffee and vending machines.

Mr. Brandon Lutz was my service advisor. He was VERY polite and did a GREAT job keeping me updated during my service! He provided me with a detailed explanation of what was done and also included a copy of my multipoint inspection. Overall I was definitely satisfied with my service and will DEFINITELY be doing business here again. 10/10 would recommend!

If you want TOP CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE make sure to go to Toyota of York. I took my car to Toyota of York today. I had noticed that my auto starter was not working responding to my remote nor app. My service advisor Brandon Lutz was extremely helpful and he went above and beyond to make sure my car was properly repaired. He kept me posted with calls, text, and emails. Another great advisor there is Larry. He also kept me updated throughout the process when my car was there for oil changes, inspections, and registration. Even though he wasn't my advisor today he still remembered me and was concerned about what my issue was. These two gentlemen need a raise. They are true examples of TOP CLASS CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thank you so much Guys!

Took my car in for an oil change that I had an appointment for at 12:30, sat down at 12:50, no problem. The guy said it would take about an hour or so. They came out and told me what that I needed some things for my car, cool also no problem I was already taking care of that. I told them just to go ahead and print the page out with the pricing and they said they were finishing up. That was around 2. It took another 30 to 45 minutes to get my car back just for an oil change. And the lady who checked me out to give me my keys back was very rude.

I've been searching for a car for about a year. After dealing with a couple different car dealers for a year and having to walk out of each one of them because of their deceptive practices. I called Toyota of york which was over 4 hours away from me ask him for the full price over the phone can I give it to me without hesitation. No silly add-ons no trying to make me buy vehicle etching Aura LoJack system for $2,000. The price of the car was the price of the car plus about $400 in dealership fees for paperwork which is fair I would be happy to recommend them to anybody was really nice over there.

The Parts department is not DIY friendly. They quoted me 250% mark-up on a transmission filter and shaft seal. Lancaster Toyota was still a little over MSRP, but it was reasonable for a local dealership. I doubt I will return to Toyota of York for parts, service, or sales. I'm on my 4th Toyota and love the brand, but please don't take advantage of me because you don't sell as many parts as a Chevy dealer.

I don't know what happened to this place but it's really gone downhill. I've been coming here for many years and have always bragged to other people about how easy, fast, and smooth service was. Last time I was there everyone looked really stressed out and frustrated and it was very crowded. Today it was quiet and everyone was calm. But today was the second time I waited for over an hour past the time they told me it would take. I have no problem waiting for however long it will take or leaving my car for the day if they are backed up and running behind but you have to inform clients of delays! Today I was told 60-90 min, 2 hrs TOPS for oil change/inspection. I was there for over 3 hrs! And not until I approached the desk at the 2.5hr mark did anyone check on it's progress. I was told THEN they are "finishing up the stickers, it will be right out", then waited more than 30 more min. After someone else approached them about wait time I heard a receptionist complain "I don't know why people get mad at us when we are the ones actually working". Well, IDK what THAT means but if I had their job I would be inquiring about vehicle status for waiting customers. If they are understaffed they should take less appointments per day. But they should definitely keeps their customers informed of delays. IF I use them again it will only be for drop off service. I will say the whole inside of my vehicle was wrapped and smelled like disinfectant, so they are at least being careful with COVID.

Got an oil change and tires rotated and everything went well! Waited at the service center where they had coffee & water, 2 vending machines & a TV. Mr Willie Martin was very nice as well! Thank you all and I’ll be back whenever my car needs serviced

Had an 11am appt "dropped" my 2021 gr supra off at 7am. It is now nearly 3pm and nothing has been done. People have jobs and places to be 11am means car needs to go up on the lift or " serviced"at 11am the time of my appt regardless of dropping off or waiting for it. #bmwengine #bmwknowledge #4milesfromhome

Don’t ever bring your car here overpriced and they automatically go ahead and install parts without your approval without giving pricing first.

Made an appointment for 12pm. Got here on time and they took the car immediately. It was my 15k mile check up. Told me it would take an hour/hour and a half. Took them a little over 2 hours. What is the point of the appointment time?

Recently called to make an appointment to get my 2013 tacoma state inspection. As I often did since I bought my truck at the dealership. I use to wait while my truck was being serviced. This time I was told I was not able to wait till my truck was finished. I am like what? She told me on the phone they will need my truck for two hours. They only do drop off appointments. Like what ?? What do you mean I can’t wait for my truck she proceeded to tell me that it takes hours to do a state inspection. If that the case why in previous years did it only take close to hour before and that included a oil change and tires rotated. Since then I have been hearing other Toyota owners being told the same story. From the same service center. So I was very disappointed. Needless to say I didn’t schedule an appointment. Since I have called my local garage. I like my truck. It has 163000 miles on it. Runs great. And have been thinking about maybe a new truck. One thing for sure it will not be a Toyota. It’s really ashame. Because I have built a good trust with my service advisor Willie Martin and the guys who did the work on my truck. Just a shame.

Skeptical, wont be returning. Took partners 4runner in for inspection. Was told the steering rack was leaking from the inner boot and needed a repair over $2k. Because there were no issues or noises with the steering I decided to take it to an independent shop and put it up on a 4 post lift. Myself and the shop owner both observed squeaky clean inner steering rack boots.

NO COLLISION REPAIR. Hit a deer. Just like hundreds of others this fall. Every collision center swamped so I was excited to see detailed description of their Toyota Certified Collision Shop on the website with an appointment available three days ahead. Except after waiting three days I arrive and they tell me they don’t have a collision center‽ And haven’t for YEARS? Nice people but someone should pay attention to their website.

Had my car in for service yesterday and inspection! Another great experience. Done when they said. We used the shuttle service. That guy was a hoot!!! He was so pleasant and funny! Made contact several times to say how far away he was. Service department staff immediately greets you and gives you to the appropriate person! A plus from me!! There’s no surprises when you go to pay! Love my Toyota!

This is the first time I write such a bad review. If you want to be talked to like a child and be gaslit into thinking that you made a big deal of your problems, go to Toyota York. The entire experience at this place was nothing but Sharrita being condescending to me, refusing to acknowledge my problems, and trying to minimize my worries and concerns. I came in to diagnose the warning light regarding tire pressure on my dashboard. Scheduled a same-day appointment noting beforehand that I need the engine light fixed. Even with appointment, it took 3+ hours and I didn't get to go home until everybody left & the place closed. Doesn't feel like my appointment is prioritized. Nobody kept track of me or checked in, even through messages. I had to actively ask when they would be done. Only then did they tell me it's going to take a long time because my car is old & rusty, which I felt is an excuse because they knew I was coming & should've paced their work accordingly. They also sent me a diagnostic video of the technician showing the engine bay for barely 7s & say I have to fix all 4 of my tire pressure sensors (~$1k). I didn't even get to see the state of my tires & was skeptical, but went with the repair anyways because what else can I do as a person not knowing anything about cars? After that lack of communication & transparency, I drove home & the warning lights re-appeared 4 days later. A $1,000 issue coming back after barely 50 miles of driving is just ridiculous... I called them & they gaslit me into believing that it's because I don't have my tires at high enough pressure when it's winter time. They talked to me like a kid, explaining that air molecules shrink during the winter, etc. I followed them anyways but it still didn't work. So by this point I've wasted $1k, my time self-diagnosing my car (wasted 4-5 business days of my own time), and my energy defending myself when Toyota York keeps minimizing my problems and concerns. Paid that much time, effort, and energy for a problem that should have been solved to begin with. By that point I didn't want anything to do with this place anymore. I just want them to make it right or refund my money so I can go fix this issue elsewhere. My calls to this place all went to the void. The only person picking up is the appointment setter at the front desk. It makes no sense that during business hours (3-4PM Thursday), there is no advisor or manager who is available to talk to me. The website says this place doesn't close until 6PM. It seems that they're trying to avoid addressing my problem. I kept being told to leave voicemails. They keep using the excuse that they're on the phone or talking to other customers but the 2 times I have gone to this place, no client ever talks to these people. Be realistic. What is there to talk about. Most people are just there to drop off their car & wait to pay & pick it up. Nobody has enough car knowledge or cares enough to talk to the advisor for 1 hour like they claim. Also the service building is so small that the front desk person could just walk to the back & physically check if the advisor is there. They just don't want to do it or address my problems; that's why. When I keep calling back and asking to talk with them directly about my problems, they keep avoiding confronting me & say that failed car sensors "do not cause the vehicle to fail or cause death," which again is another time Toyota York dismisses my worries as trivial. I came in for a second follow-up appointment & they said the tire pressure sensor on my 5th spare tire is broken and needs to be fixed. Again, why didn't they tell me this the first appointment? To conclud, I would never go to this place again & don't recommend it to anyone. The lack of transparency & communication with clients is absurd. It doesn't feel that you are listened to or treated with respect. To compare, Toyota Lancaster gives better customer service with better price. Please give your business to anywhere else, not to Toyota York, I would avoid this place at all costs.
