Went in for oil change. They took us in without appointment which was good. Upselled regular to synthetic oil without asking. While changing oil they checked our breaks. It turned out we needed front pads and rotors changed. They charged $480 only for that. Which I think was excessive. Parts are at the maximum $200. Otherwise, interactions were polite.

Took my car for a simple oil change. Was told my water pump was bad and cost $1,500. Never had any leaks and park in a garage which would show. Left and went to two different mechanic shops who confirm my water pump was in fact not leaking. Even paid $140 for them to test it. They take advantage of women and older people it seems. There’s no car sales right now so I’m sure they are trying to make up for it. Never again, stay away from this place.

I'm only sharing this because Reviews keeps asking. Appreciated they were open Sunday but *very* hard to reach the parts department; took close to 30 minutes to speak to someone and had to call the main line and be transferred before that happened. I ended up going to Toyata Parts in East Boca. Not only did they have the part I needed in stock, they also charged 40$ less.

I had a 9am appointment for a simple oil change, ended up getting my car back at noon. 3 hours for an oil change is absolutely unacceptable, go elsewhere!! Zero communication through the 3 hour wait besides trying to upsell a few services 2.5 hours into it that I don't feel were necessary. If you decide to go here, plan ahead to drop the vehicle off and don't agree to any additional services without doing some research.

The service department is now passing the 3% credit card fee off to all customers! Businesses are supposed to pay credit card fees as a convenience. That's how the credit card system works. I can forgive a mom and pop store with high costs but a large business like this is just corporate greed.

I was charged $1,300, including $900 for labor. I feel like I was overcharged. 70% (!) for a labor. Additionally, I had to pay 3% as a credit card fee. I have not experienced any delays, I got my car back in 2 hours. UPD-1: My car won’t start the next day after they replaced the spark plugs (this particular labor costed me $516). I reached out to them, and they suggested that I bring my car back for an inspection, which means I would have to pay for towing myself. UPD-2: They reached out to me, but I ended up resolving the issue with a different service provider.

I waited in line for about fifteen to 20 minutes and when it was my turn, the two customer service people didn't call me but took two people who weren't. Standing in line waiting to go in.. I didn't say anything to see. What was the waiter's behavior like, but after dealing with those two people, they didn't ask me a word. Waited until I asked, then she acknowledged me. And there was no apology. In my opinion, it seems that this service team does not care about customers and is polite to customers. This behavior is very low and I will never return to this place.

I called around 1pm and was told I would be getting a call back from Mackwood. It is now 5:30 pm with no call back. He did this same thing 2 years ago and is never held accountable for not properly communicating with customers. My battery is under warranty and I told him that three times while he is trying to sell me a new battery. Either he doesn’t understand English or he disregards what the customer is saying. Either way he is bad for business. You want me to email you instead of addressing Mackwood? This is the same issue two different years. 2023 and 2025. On top of that I go to the dealership I’m calling and standing there while nobody picks up the phone. I’m watching at least 2 service advisors just sit around and laugh. I go to southern441 Toyota and never have any issues. They actually communicate back with the customer and don’t try to sell me new parts that are still under warranty. Angel W., A.A.S.

Then the moment I leave someone is asking me to leave a review well this is the review. If I purchased a car here and I’m confused about something and you are getting paid to help then you should help and also not try to take advantage simply because I’m a woman.

This is second corolla I purchased from Al Hendrickson Toyota. The only reason I still go up to this dealer is because of Klaus in the service department. He is one of the best in that department and I really appreciate his assistance in keeping my car in good shape. I think if he was not there, I would probably take it to the Toyota dealer. That’s much closer to my home. He is a real gem and an asset to this business in my opinion.

During a routine oil change, my splash shield ended up dragging and partially detaching a few days later. I had to cut and secure what was left myself. I always go to Klaus Cobb for any service or repairs here. He always goes above and beyond to squeeze me in for appointments and explains all service repairs clearly. The service department started charging an extra 3% for credit card transactions (so keep that in mind when you come here) but thankfully Klaus always remembers to remind me when I drop my car off. He's the best!

This place is shady is all I can say from the salesman outside to the finance guy. I was threatened with legal action because I did not want to add the “optional” 12k in warranty’s. I also had the worst service trying to pick up my car for some service they sent me across the street into an empty building playing hide and seek with employees to just get my car that was ready. I had to to talk to the people taking photos of new listings and they refused to help me, it was a nice mechanic who had to single handily call the manager because I’m in the middle of the shop they told me to go trying to pick up my car they told me was ready. This place needs to be investigated by the local news.
