Michael is so great and always kept me informed on what was going on with my car. We were not sure exactly what the problem was and I was certainly expecting a huge bill but to my surprise it wasn't and they fixed my problem and worked with me getting the car after hours. About a month before this they had my SILs truck in to replace the transmission, both vehicles are running perfectly! They had the vehicles done quickly and they were clean even though they work with lots of grease. There was not a speck of grease or dirt on either vehicle when we picked them up!! I would recommend Trans Medic Transmissions to anyone that is considering them. They are friendly and more importantly they listen to you when you describe the problem! That is worth a great deal!

I was impressed with there knowledge. Using transmission parts on there counter they explained my possible problem before the started working on it. After the opened the transmission they found that problem and an internal pump that wasn't working. One of the first things I noticed when I got my car back was how tight the ride. I heard about Trans medic on a reddit thread when trying to find a reputable transmission specialist. They did not disappoint. They finished the transmission rebuild for my truck before they said it would be done by, and the final bill was less than originally quoted. Since when does that ever happen? They were fast, efficient, knowledgeable and got it done without all the usual bullshit you might get with other auto shops. 10/10 recommend!

Excellent customer service. The communication was flawless. The over the phone guestimated bid was extremely accurate once it was diagnosed. They let me know time lines and then finished ahead of schedule. They even accommodated a Saturday morning pick up even though they are closed. I called a couple mechanic shops that work on transmissions, and they wanted to charge from $80 to $120 to provide an assessment for my pick-up truck. I called Trans Medic to ask how much it would cost to assess the gear shift handle that was not engaging easily into reverse or into drive gears. Nash said there would be no charge to assess the pick-up. I took my truck to Trans Medic and less than two hours later Michael called back to say the truck was fixed and ready. My truck threw a transmission code on Thursday. Called Mike at Trans medic that evening and he said get it in here so we can take a look at it to figure out the problem. Dropped it off Friday night. They called me back Monday to let me know the diagnosis. Figured out the cost (which Mike took care of me) and time to fix. 2 days later I had it back and driving. Very pleased with trans medic’s cost and performance. They were recommended to me and now I would recommend them to anyone else.

After a referral from a buddy who has used them, Trans Medic was my first and only call. They were very aware of the issues I mentioned and the specific vehicles all fail around 100k miles, mine at 115k. They did an R&R and full rebuild in less than a week. This would have take me at least 40 hours in my garage to swap in a reman unit. This way I am not aching and the Edge lives on. Cost was right about 1/2 of a dealer quote my friend got before he sold me the rig (which is pretty much a total out at that price). People were all nice and trans works great. TY! I am very satisfied with the work they did on my Camaro’s transmission. The quality of the service exceeded my expectations, and I am truly happy with the warranty they provided—two years or 24,000 miles—which really shows their confidence in their work. They were also extremely fast. I was initially given an estimated turnaround time of one week, but the car was ready in about two days. I was recommended to Trans Medic by a friend. They do an upgraded version of the transmission, which I need as I beat on my vehicle pretty hard in the desert. The price was fair and they were able to get me in pretty quick. They answered all my questions upfront. I had my vehicle sent to them and they were prompt with all communication regarding getting parts and kept it within the price I was looking for. Finished in a fair amount of time and got me back on the road. The transmission works awesome and has firm shifts. The reason for the 4 star is I had to be towed home after a o2 sensor came off on the way home. Also I had just installed a aftermarket exhaust system prior to putting it in the shop and found a fair amount of damage to it that was not there prior to having it worked on. Some of the clamps that hold the exhaust system were left loose or installed backwards, so it had some exhaust leaks. I understand that it wasn’t stock and might have been a little more difficult to work with but I feel that it could have been handled better. Again as far as the transmission goes it works stellar and has had no issues since the repair. This is definitely a company I would use again.

I arrived at the shop after getting a hearty referral from my trusted mechanic, fully expecting the usual halfhearted greeting and indifferent attitude that seemingly runs rampant in the auto industry. I was pleasantly surprised! Greeted with courtesy and professionalism, I stepped forward still , with trepidation. It was swept aside as Michael explained the next steps and gave me an understandable explanation of the process. As well as a reasonable cost for the repair. We dropped off our 04 Tahoe with thoughts of seeing it back in our possession in a week or so. To our astonishment!! It was ready the following day! We once again made our way back to the shop, and were greeted by a different employee. Again with courtesy and professionalism!! We’ve been happily motoring since then (march 2023). Fast forward to Jan 19, 2026. Our trusted mechanic let us know there was a leak in a transmission fitting. I called the shop, again with certain expectations and was once again blown away with the customer service!!! The fitting needed a new O ring. I knew it was past the warranty period both in miles and passage of time. Trans Medic stood by their work!! Even though the O ring wasn’t their workmanship, it was replaced at no cost to me. Yes I understand that it wasn’t a huge deal. In the whole scheme of things, an O ring on a fitting is simple to swap out. It would have been just as simple for them to charge me for it also, 3 years later. I cannot express just how impressed I was with Trans Medic Transmissions. I worked customer service at a big box store (Wholesale 😉). I’m familiar with business models. These folks are at the top of their game. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone!
