These guys are swindlers I paid for two engines of which both were faulty because of them .I finally had to go to a different place to get the third engine.Hes never paid me back and has spread rumors I owe him. DO GO HERE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

It's too hard to find a car shop you can trust, THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I TAKE MY CARS, they are the best around and u can trust their work and pricing. My cars wouldn't be in the condition they're in without them and they are RELIABLE.

This is by far the WORST mechanical shop that I have ever in my life went to & my family aggress . If you ever have any issue with your car we highly recommend that you pass this shop up . My anger towards the shop lead me to leave a review . #1 they didnt even tell me everything that was wrong with my vehicle I had to find out from my dealership .. #2 this is day 5 and my car is still in there shop just for a fuel filter replacement . #3 they give the run around and they're not for the customer there for whatever is going to make them another dollar . I feel like there taking there sweet time with my vehicle because they hear me getting angry , people have lifes jobs etc .. & a whole lot more issues that I dont feel like typing basically dont go here better off going to aamco next door !!!

Nice to find a honest repair shop that will really tell you whats wrong and what work needs to be done to get your car back on the road . For me it turned out to be a bad brake caliber and not the transmission. How many other shops would have just yes it is your transmission fixed the brakes then soaked you for a new transmission well not here.

This place is outstanding. They took my van in without hassel and agreed to change out my motor and transmission as I requested with no worries added. . Sabrina at Discount Transmissions was wonderfull. They care alot about their customers. They were a life saver for me. I highly recommend Discount transmission.. Was very impressed with the work done on my 2002 Lexus. Instead of getting the up sale for unnecessary work. They provided me with a comprehensive stratagy to maintain and preserve the health of my car. Brakes were fixed up, front not all the way around. Tires were rotated to get maximum wear. Transmission checked and flushed. They even scoured the internet to find me a perfectly good but used power window motor for one the doors on the car. I will not hesitate to use them again. They have earned my trust and my respect as true professionals that know what they are doing.

I have been with TDC since 1996. They have always been dependable and reliable. I thought they were doing special things for me and found out later they are like that with all their customers. I feel more like a friend than a customer. I have gone to Jason to ask questions that had nothing to do with what they did, and he was very forth coming and told me like it is. I would recommend them to everyone. Which I have done with a Uber driver and a Vallejo bus driver. Keep up the great work!!!

Wonderful! This is the only shop I will ever take my family's vehicles to. They are so helpful and HONEST! In this day and age it is difficult to trust people and not to be taken advantage of. Transmission Discount Center takes care of the customer and problems. If there is ever a mistake they own up to it and fix it! Nowadays that usually isn't the case. I feel more like a friend than a customer and will continue to take my vehicles there and recommend them to anyone.

If I could give a zero star I would. There is a saying, there's no such thing as an honest mechanic. This garage shop is no exception. But I got fooled by their Google rating. What a sorry decision that was. The staffs are liars and incompetent bunch. Disregard and disrespect their customers. It cost me over $4000 dollars to fix my car at this shop. They demanded over $1200 deposit to take apart the transmission to check what was wrong. They said there should not be a big problem with the transmission and promised to call me back in a couple of days. They never did! and I kept calling every single time to check the status! When I learned of the total cost to fix my car I was shocked but it was too late. It took them over 8 days. Over the days they kept saying they would call back in 5 minutes or 30 minutes, etc. but they never did. When I got my car back there were yellow stain everywhere. There were bird drops all over my car. In short, the car was dirty in and out. After the "transmission rebuilt" my car seems to be losing power and torque intermittently when trying to go at higher speed. I later learned from online search the average cost of a transmission rebuilt is between $1200-$2800 inclusive of labor. So I have been had by this garage shop! I WOULD NEVER EVER TAKE MY CAR BACK TO THIS INCOMPETENT AND DISHONEST SHOP AGAIN! Do not be fooled by the 5-Star rating of this garage shop. A lot of those rating were by the same person or their friends and family.

This shop was great from start to finish. Sabrina was amazing to not only ease my concerns, she was able to offer a mechanic same day to diagnosed my car within a couple of minutes of us talking by phone and my arrival to the shop. Jose was the mechanic assigned and confirmed what I was told by another shop (muffler and exhaust) and luckily not 1 but 2 parts needed for my car was able to be delivered same day to get repair done for mounting my motor. They were both professional and friendly. They kept me in the loop every step of the way and had me out in a timely manner. I will recommend this shop for how efficient, professional, pricing and willingness to help even on same day! Thank you both for your awesome customer service and any other mechanics who help with my Chevy Cobalt and having it ready for next repair job. Plus, recommending a muffler place for that repair.
