Currently Active Duty Deployed and my wife is driving my crv back home in WA with a transmission manufactured by them. Transmission is under 40k miles and it‘s not going into gear and completely shot. The warranty is 3 years or 100k miles which it has passed by a few by a few months, but well under the 100k mark. Sad to see they “support troops” but when I sent a email no response or anything to stand by their work.

The entire staff is delightful to deal with, most transmissions are ready to ship at a moment's notice, and they are genuine in their care and concern after the sale is complete. If you get a chance to talk to Devin or Nelly, you're in good hands! However, we all know that the real measure of a company's service excellence is in how they deal with problems (it doesn't matter who you buy from, you're eventually going to learn this simple fact), the entire team at TRC will not hesitate to get your rig back on the road as quickly as possible. I can't thank these folks enough for their consummate professionalism and willingness to help. I would have given 6 stars if they had let me!

Easy ordering , very professional and freindly. fast shipping and we and our other shop have bought many transmissions from TRC over the years and they are always the best. In 9 years we have only had 1 problem with any of thier transmissions and they took care of it without no hassles at onother shop in another state. Awesome company. We highly recommend them. have bought and intalled several more since and they are still the best. Thanks again TRC. 1/19/23 . Still my favorite trans suplier. G.R. 4/27/23

I have purchased 3 transmissions, 99 Chevy Suburban, 2003 BMW and a 2000 F150, all of which failed. With the BMW, I purchased it Sept. 2020, by May of 2021 the transmission failed, third gear would never engage. I spoke with Devin, they honored the warranty and got the second transmission, installed it, and as I was putting the transmission fluid in, found out the housing was cracked and leaks all over. Spoke with Scott, and they sent me the third transmission. During all this taking off and installing the transmission I was only reimbursed for one labor cost. $329.00, this is for three installs, I had to pay for 3 weeks of car rental for the customer. I had to cover the cost. The F150 transmission, the first gear worked fine, the third gear would not go in with out a lot of knocking. I finally went to a different company for the F150 as I was losing time, money and trust from the customer. When I contacted the company they offered to exchange them, but they took they were very slow. I called multiple times and my phone calls went unanswered. I finally had to stop payment on the last purchase. That got their attention. 2 weeks later got a call from Scott who said that he needed two more weeks. I told him I could not keep my clients waiting for two weeks plus the time that it took for them to get back to me. I am running a business, and I need to keep my clients informed and I can't stay in business if I keep getting bad transmissions and dealing with unprofessional company.

Transmission arrived in a timely manner, and the core charge was returned early when I asked for it. That was extremely helpful for me getting my truck back on the road.

TRC was not a good experience for me. Purchased a 4R75E trans in 2016 with 90,500 on the odometer of my 05 Ford F150. Warranty states 2yr 24,000 miles. Truck has 137,000 as of 3/2/24 barely driven. Trans failed with only 46,500 on it. Metal and friction material through out trans. Had shudder problem from day one, complained, but was told keep driving it, needs to break in. Nice, how convenient, just past the Warranty period!! Just threw away 2,300.00 for that time and era. We work hard for our money for somebody just to take it! Beware! Pics of pick up filter.... To follow up on the response from TRC sales manager. Chris offered 2,000.00 dollars for another trans w/new warranty. That would have brought my total expenses to TRC 4,300.00. I didn't want a repair of my existing trans because of the metal shavings possibly being missed. He couldn't speak to the original shudder issue, but said keep driving it, sometimes it fixes it. Well he just spoke to it. My request was some sort of prorated refund. TRC said no, so my TRC 4R75E trans failed short, in addition to my remedy falling short.

As an independent auto repair shop I had used TRC a number of times without a problem but when one does arise that's when you find out about a company. I purchased a CVT transmission from them that failed within the warranty period. They tried to deny that it was still under warranty until I proved it to them with the paperwork THEY provided. Had to wait nearly a month until they shipped the replacement. They got the unit from a 3rd party (not my problem) and wanted me to go to the 3rd party for warranty. I had to argue that I bought unit from them, NOT the 3rd party. Installed unit (12 plus hour job plus 240 dollars worth of CVT fluid) and submitted my claim. After waiting nearly a month and many phone calls and emails that I had to initiate, I finally received a check for 614 dollars. Went way backwards and an unhappy customer due to the wait time. It is apparent that their warranty isn't worth much. Steve Hazel The Panacea Automotive Repair

I work for an Automotive Repair Shop, we have used this company approx 4-5 times now. We've had no problems with the Transmissions they sold us. No come backs with any issues either. Let's talk about service. Our Service Advisor would call to get an estimate one day, same day the Transmission was paid for and the next day we received it Via Peninsula Truck Lines. 2 day service. Now that's amazing. We have them on speed dial. Justin and Devin are easy to talk to and great to work with. Keep up the fantastic work.

I have purchased several transmissions from this company. They are always professional on the phone and VERY expedient with building and shipping. Quality has been good. We did have one transmission fail after a few months, but the warranty was easy to make happen, although the wait time for the replacement transmission was a little extreme. Overall, good experiences and looking forward to more.

Update: 2nd replacement trans starting to make same noise as first one and only put 10 k miles don’t buy trc transmission they build junk cost more in the long run then choosing a lil more expensive shop Terrible warranty service!!! Transmission didn’t last a year to the date and purchased a better torque converter to be able to tow and warranty, then I had to shell out 1200 more dollars to pay for labor they only reimburse 1000 dollars still waiting to be reimbursed over 2 months and being accused of abuse on the transmission with a stock truck! Never even bothered them for the tow bill cause I have AAA or the rental of another truck to finish the move. Their transmission couldn’t handle a 16 ft cargo trailer max load of 7k lbs in a diesel f350 on a cross country moving trip! Stoped at off ramp to get fuel late at night no traffic pulled a left turn got 5 feet then all of a sudden no go checked fluid and all below was wet on flat South Dakota highway off ramp Would definitely never do business with them again! Wouldn’t recommend anyone else either if you use a truck for towing anything! Scott Stephens their warranty dept. guy didn’t return my call when I left a message I had to call him back again to get any information still waiting on outcome on it then had to send photos of my truck, trailer because their inspector said I abused it when I have not, never even burned out in the truck! The photo is the billet torque converter. Will be contacting the BBB! Unprofessional business practice

TRC has been excellent for us at Denali Transmissions, our sales rep Nelly is fast, reliable, and incredibly knowledgeable. She goes above and beyond for us, even after hours and on weekends. We don’t just see her as a sales rep, but as a friend who genuinely cares. Her support means a lot to us at Denali Transmissions, and they stand behind their work. If you get the chance to work with her, you’ll be extremely satisfied.

I own STAR Automotive in Oregon. This is the first time I have used TRC for my transmissions. We had two transmission jobs back to back and TRC made it happen. I am very impressed with the customer experience I have had with the staff, especially (Sandy) what a lady! Kathryn was amazing about getting our cores picked up very promptly. Will I continue to use TRC....."You better believe it". Thanks for the great experience.

We have tried using TRC transmissions several times over the years. Unfortunately there product doesn't meet expectations. We have had multiple failures on several different transmissions. Of those failed transmissions, they have failed multiple times. Sometimes with the same failure repeated after sending them back for warranty repair. Getting them to cover the cost of a warranty repair is like pulling teeth. No one calls back, they do not want to pay, they want you to send their product back so they can deny any wrong doing. They do not honor there warranty. While they are nice people on the phone and talk a good game, its all a show. Some of the most dishonest people I have met in the automotive repair industry. Not only did they screw up multiple times for our customers but also my own personal truck. I have had my transmission sent back to them three times. Wouldn't trust them for the 4th. Ended up having the wonderful people at SeaTac transmission fix TRC's poor workmanship. Best thing is, SeaTac Transmission charged me half the price. I suggest finding a business that will have a moral code, care about the people they are doing business with, and most of all, actually have the ability to rebuild transmissions that last longer then 10,000 miles. After TRC gets your money, they no longer care. -Iron Mike Automotive In reply to TRC's response. It seems from your recent reviews, this is what happens with your services.

I have been doing business with TRC for over 20 years, the past 4 years they have really gone down hill. Their warranty policy seem to be "its always someone else's fault" we got a 4l60e with a deep pan for a 4x4 and had a shallow filter. We found the fault and they claimed we did it. Then wouldn't work with us to help the costumer. We bought a 2nd transmission from them (like we shouldn't have) for 400.00 more then the first one and it went out 2.8 years later with 8k miles. Chris the manager we have had conversation's with will not help us in anyway. This seems to be a ongoing issues with them. I do not recommend using them if you want a good warranty. We had a 96 ford f150 we got a transmission from them and it never left the shop. We got paperwork that says we were to to get 120 a hour for warranty work but they only paid 70.00 a hour. quality control has really gone down hill the passed few years.
