the guy didn't work with me at all, would even acknowledge me & said nothing to me... if this is how he treats his customers I could only imagine how he treats his customers cars. I would never recommend Troys to anyone

This shop worked on my car knowing that it had transmission issues! The guy that works there said that he heard this noise when they replaced parts that didn’t need to be replaced. This shop in my opinion fixed parts on my car to get $526.00 out of me. If they would’ve been honest and told me my car was needing a transmission I would’ve never gave them money to fix it. I will never go to them again and, I hope they can sleep at night knowing they took money from someone who didn’t even have the money. Being dishonest will definitely come back to them. I should of listened to my friend who had issues with them on parts they fixed on his truck. Lesson learned always get two opinions if you need to have a vehicle worked on.

I had my Subaru SVX worked on there for a broken water pump years ago. The price was amazingand the service was great. Decided to try a local mechanic as I had been rubbed the wrong way by Midas and others a couple times. Was not disappointed. Unfortunately moved out of state but if I ever have a car issue when visiting family in Lincoln Troys is the first shop I will turn to.

Troy's helped me out after my catalytic converter was stolen off my vehicle. They gave me a quote and answered my questions. They did fast work and communicated when my car was ready for pick up. I will be adding them to my list of places I would go back to if I need other car work done.

I bought a car from Pete Troy the owner of the shop and the check engine light came on 42 minutes after I bought it with three different codes. Pete is a scam artist and I WOULD NOT trust a word that his says. I now have a car that I have owned for a few hours needing several hundred dollars of work and Pete was no help!!! I can't stress enough do not go to this guy!!!!

I bought a vehicle from Pete during the drive home the check engine light came on within the first hour of owning it and the waterpump and radiator hose blew just as I pulled in my driveway. Mechanic says its not worth fixing because something caused all that and its not the hose or waterpump he suspects a vacuum leak or worse. Being a mechanic Pete was aware of the issues and masked them to make a few bucks, shady business there.. Pete was aware that I bought a vehicle the day before that went into limp mode minutes after I bought it, not his problem. Pete was aware of why I was trying to find a decent used car so I could get myself back and forth for cancer care. He took advantage of my needing a vehicle and sold me a huge pile of junk. Thanks Pete for making it even harder for me to afford my medical care because now I have to spend tons of money to either fix the junk pile or try to buy yet another vehicle. I'd call and ask him to make it right but other reviews have said he doesn't care he made his money. Very disappointed and I doubt most of the positive reviews are real, more than likely his friends and family hyping him up.

Got a referral from a friend and I was not disappointed. Got my starter replaced for a decent price and back on the road the next morning. I'll be back if i should need any work done in the future. After reading several negative reviews, I am inclined to be open minded . I would expect Pete, as well as any another auto repair shop / car sales to stand behind their work and product.
