It took a second trip to do the repair as it should have been done the first time but in the final analysis the problem was resolved Now the question what should have been done? My answer is that two inspections should be done by mechanics. that didn’t do the work to insure that whomever worked on the vehicle should not inspect his or her own work as a mistake may. Go unnoticed. Common sense and logic should prevail and instruments may point out what the problem may be but you need bbto use common sense otherwise you may think a flat tire is only flat on the bottom

I have been to several Tuffy’s but the one on Palm Beach was very disappointing. I took my truck in and they told me they would fix my problem. I paid $1600 and the problem was still there. Took it back and then they “found the problem “ and want me to pay another $284. Absolutely not and my truck still isn’t fixed.

Horrible! Do I even have to explain? I specifically told them to fix my car well but they didn't even try. The next thing you know, they dropped the keys infront of my face. Unacceptable and you have to fix this immediately.

Wife took the car for a steering rack replacement and oil change, steering fluid reservoir was bone dry, pump was whining like crazy and motor oil was low to the lowest part of the dipstick. I was gonna bring it back and claim this but I honestly don't want them anywhere near any of our vehicles, huge lack of QC if you ask me. I do not recommend this place.

I have used McAllister‘s for the better part of 25 years off and on and my family has become friends with theirs. When my uncle sold his shop in Fort Myers he not only told us to quit using his old shop, but to switch over and use McAllister‘s from now on, and as often as possible, and I am so glad we do. The customer service staff is so friendly, helpful, and most of all, honest! They make you feel like more than just a customer. The techs will tell you the minimum required to get your vehicle running again, but also the maximum to fix everything. “It would be $2000 to fix everything this time, but only $292.00 to get my car running again.” those were his words not mine, and of course I chose the lower number. All they just want is to provide good, friendly, honest service to help the little guy out as best as possible. I haven’t felt as welcomed and as “a part of” at an automotive repair shop since my uncles shop and now I get that feeling here. Now that my uncle has sold and is out of the business in the Fort Myers area, McAllister‘s has become my number one place, and auto repair shop of my choice for the area, and should be yours. You will not get better service or a more honest price anywhere else. I most certainly 100% recommend McAllister‘s auto repair on Palm Beach Blvd. in Fort Myers, Florida for all your automotive needs. Please help them, so they can help you! 5 STARS!!

All service stations are not equal, believe me. Tuffy’s solved a no engine start problem on my vehicle that was created by another garage. It took a bit of time for them to figure out what the previous guy did, but they got to the root of the problem and it is fixed now. Running like a champ. I highly recommend this company.👍
