No stars! They suck! I’ve had multiple problems going on with my vehicle and every time U would have them fix it, something new pops up after it was “fixed”. For example when I needed a new battery and transmission repair it was fixed but then both of my 2 key fob stopped working (so I cant unlock and lock my doors), my computer system won’t work properly so I cant see my tire pressures, when I got an oil change my percentage didn’t correct its self like usual, and they wanted to charge me to see what the problem is that they caused. Its annoying and an expensive problem, would NEVER recommend and NEVER going back!!

Had some engine troubles that made my car underivable. Tuffy was quick both with the diagnostics and repair. They worked with me and helped keep my repairs within my budget. Will defiantly be using them in the future

This was my first time coming to this location, and unfortunately, it was not a good one. They promised me my car would be done the same day, and it was just a diagnosing issue, but nothing was done all day. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude and disrespectful. When I called to get an update, he hung up on me twice. I wasted the entire day with no progress on my car. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Very unprofessional service.

Got a alignment done here they didn’t give me a print out of the before and after of the alignment machine they say there printer wasn’t working not professional or could have atleast took pictures of the Machine showing me

Auto repair services has definitely improved 100%. Customer service was top notch. They were FAST & EFFICIENT! They let us know what to expect from start to finish. The workers at Tuffy were very helpful! I had an issue with my car that was going to be a couple thousand dollars, and they worked with my warranty company to get the cost down. The only complaint I had, was that the only way I would get an update on my car (it was gone for close to a week), was if I called them. But they were always quick to answer the phones and answer my questions. I recommend this Tuffy location!

I paid damn near 6,000 dollars of work on my car. I had my car for 4 months and their has a been an issue everytime and they haven't tooken any accountability for anything instead we had to keep paying for extra stuff that should've been done. Never again I asked for a refund and he tried to make excuses.

If I could give you 100 stars you would have them. As I was driving all of a sudden I heard a very loud noise. After checking to see what was going on. I was a few shakes from being overwhelmed .I had to get it taken care of now. I stopped at Tuffy explained the problem. The man that waited on me, was so kind and made me feel at ease. They checked it let me know what needed to be done and fixed it.I was so impressed and put at ease. Like I said 100 stars for the kind, courteous, interaction. And the service that had me back on the road stress free. I will be going to Tuffy for now on for my car service.

Went in for a 1pm appointment oil change and was told it would be 2 hours before completion. I left the vehicle expecting a call after 2 hours, this call never happened. Used a coupon to get the reasonable price.

Took my car in a month ago because my check engine light came on, told them the EVAP sensor needed to be changed, and they came back and charged me $172 for a loose battery cable and told me the battery was bad, and I needed new brakes and rotors said nothing about the EVAP sensor! 1 month later, low and behold my check engine light is on again...took my car back to them because they already ran a diagnostic supposedly, and NOW it's the EVAP sensor. A $78 part according to the paperwork from them...and they want to charge me $575 to fix it. That plus the original $175 equals close to $800 for less than an $80 part, for something I told them needed to be fixed in the first place. So yeah, I do NOT recommend tuffy on 28th St in Grand Rapids. Crooks if you ask me!!

I came into tuffys about a week ago, I was greeted very kindly, I had an appointment for inspection with my front end as it was vibrating. So I waited as my oil change was also done.... The Mexican counter lady told me there was a lot wrong with my car and I shouldn't drive it like, and that it might not get done for a few days as they were backed up. At first I was very upset until a man named Dolph approached me and talked me threw what was needed for my repair and told me he could give me a ride home and he would plug it in himself and do the repair to help me. I got a ride home and I tried to pay him for gas and he refused. He was very kind to me. I'm not kidding the next day I got a phone call later in the day it was the same man, Dolph he was so sweet and kind and told me that my car was taken care of and offered to come get me! I have never experienced service like this before.. I don't know if he's a manager or a mechanic but I would highly recommend going to tuffy auto on 28th st and ask for Dolph he is very sweet and took very good care of me!!! 😊

They were not good. They had what turned out to be a fairly simple fix on my windshield wipers, there was a screw loose. Decided they couldn’t fix it right away on a Saturday afternoon. We were kinda stranded. Left car there. $159 later they didn’t really fix it. Worked about a week. But the $4000 plus in things to fix on my car that they diagnosed they said they would be happy to work on. I went to my local muffler man in south Haven who fixed it for free and it took 30 minutes. I guess they saw an opportunity to take advantage of someone instead of helping someone out in need.
