I went to get a alignment he told me I needed my tire rods need to be fix as well. He charge me $300 for the service only to find out he never fixed neither one of them. While driving on highway my car broke down I had take to AAA to only find out my alignment,tire rods, control arms were all messed up I had to pay 1300 dollars. I will never go to Mr Tony shop again.

Terrible man! My car broke down directly beside the mechanic and I was charged $120 just to move it there. He tried to force me to get my car repaired from him for $450+. We later found a local mechanic to tow our car ACROSS TOWN for $70 and repair it for $265. This man is an extortionists with morals of an oppressor.

Omg so I went and got an oil change, inspection, and tires on 08/12/20 today is 08/20/2020 my car oil light is on and there is no oil in my car I have a brand new 2015 Jetta Volkswagen. He ain't have no oil for my car no filter! Had to wait went early am open time waited an hour for them to bring the stuff. Told me it was gone be a while. I left called me 2 hours later for pick up. I thought they was going to so me right. Taking my car back to my machine who I normally let do my oil chamge. Pray to God no damage was done. Called Mr. Tony trying to explain the situation he hung up on me I called back he continued to blame the problem on me. I was treated poorly with my car service when I got there and they began to work on my car. He told me to leave because me standing was making him nervous. I can't sit for a long period of time but I will not be taking my car back to them for nothing. I'm very disappointed and upset I want my oil change refunded!!

I moved to Durham in 1996...having many used vehicle's. I tried other's and this place has TRULY stood out on fairness of charges and EXCELLENT in Service. I just LEFT having an oil change. Honestly I only go to the dealer for new or excellent warranted vehicle's. I hope it stays this way!!

Mr Tony good guy, have no issues with service. Will say service done here is not added to your car history you have to keep paper copy. Cost me more to do an oil change here than it did the dealership. But good place tho.

Was filling up a few weeks ago before heading to Charlotte and noticed one of my rear tires was really low. I saw the nail in it and knew I would have to get it plugged. I headed down University and saw the shop open and gave it a whirl. These guys had me out in twenty minutes and did a fantastic job! I couldn't believe how quickly they were able to get me in and plug the tire and send me on my way. All the guys were super friendly and helpful and I will certainly go back for other maintenance and repairs in the future as it's just down the road from my house

I'm surprised that this business has 4+ stars, because I certainly had a 1-star experience. The owner, Mr. Tony, was downright HOSTILE toward me, and even YELLED and CURSED at me. Never in my life have I been so POORLY TREATED and DISRESPECTED as a customer of what is supposed to be a reputable business. Mr. Tony quoted me $306.00 to install an air compressor and dryer on my car. When I returned to pick it up, the total was more than $120.00 more than what he originally quoted. He said he had to do additional work to ensure the A/C was working properly. I don't mind this, but he or someone from his office should have called me BEFOREHAND to notify me in advance that they were doing additional work on my car that would raise the cost. It's not only the courteous thing to do, but also the most honest. When I told them this, he agreed to take off the tax, about $30.00, which means I still paid $90 more than originally quoted. When I went outside to leave, I noticed that there was a footprint on the side of my car and fresh scratches at the bottom of the driver's side door. When I asked Mr. Tony about them, he denied responsibility and told me that I should use wax to buff out the scratches. I am certain that they were not there when I dropped off the car. When I proceeded to take photos of the scratches for my records, Mr. Tony began to YELL AT ME and CURSE ME, using words such as "D**N" and even "F**K." Never have I been so disrespected as a customer of what is supposed to be a reputable business. No one showed remorse or offered an apology for Mr. Tony's hostile and unprofessional behavior, and I can assure you that I was respectful at every turn. Needless to say, I will never patronize this establishment again, and I would caution anyone else who is considering them. Now, I always strive to be fair and honest, so I will end by saying that I believe the company provides quality work; however, if you question said work or the cost or see damages to your vehicle, you may have a hostile encounter such as mine. No customer deserves to be mistreated this way. I noticed that in response to other negative Google reviews, the company tends to simply apologize for the “misunderstanding.” I can assure you that this was no simple “misunderstanding.” It was an intentionally hostile encounter for which Mr. Tony was expressly unapologetic. I hope Mr. Tony and his team will do some serious soul searching and learn to treat their customers with more respect, even when disagreements arise. That is the mark of an upstanding business, and honestly, the mark of a good person.
