I had yet another excellent experience with Urban Autocare. They checked out my 2006 subaru with 215,000 miles and did an oil change. Everything was in good condition and that's one year after they did a thorough checkup and some repairs. They were also easy to communicate with, on time and always do a "little extra" like replace the battery in my key fob.

780$ for a compression and leak down test. If paying that much is in your budget....I'm sure it's a good shop. I can do a compression test myself for 50$ if that tells you anything. They were onto something with the diagnosis but I got the diagnosis and went on my way. They wanted me to pay them over 1000$ for them to diagnose my trucks compression....Insane. a compression test doesn't take but 15 minutes and a 50$ gauge. Why so expensive? They helped me so I'll give em 3 stars but other than that I would NEVER pay someone that much money to do such a simple task.

Great attention to detail. Just had an oil change and inspection in which there was no additional repairs that needed to be taken care of. They still went over ever detail of the inspection with me and discussed what would be needing to be done in the future. Felt like they were setting me up for success in keeping my car running smooth and well taken care of!

Urban Auto Care recently worked on my 2019 Toyota 4Runner after it threw a transmission code that prevented it from shifting into the final gear. At first, I suspected an internal sensor issue and assumed the harness and sensor would need to be replaced. However, their attention to detail was outstanding. Instead of replacing parts unnecessarily, they traced the problem to a cut wire on the backside of the firewall that had shorted out. Urban Auto Care is honest, thorough, and clearly takes pride in their work. James and the entire urban staff were both amazing to speak with on the phone—professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

I’m always very impressed by the work These folks do! They work quickly and efficiently and I was back on the road sooner than expected! They are always very open and honest about the work they do or the maintenance that will need to be completed. They are always honest about what things are high priority or things that can wait. They are super thorough about explaining everything that needs to be done while also helping you figure out what needs to be fixed urgently and what can wait a little bit. It’s never scammy, and the people that work here are so kind. Would highly recommend bringing your vehicle here, it’s definitely a place you can trust which is hard to find.

Great customer service, and was provided a Lyft ride home and back when my car was ready. I had a "Check Engine" light that ended up being something deep inside that I would never known to think of. Upon inspection beyond my understanding, they found that some Mice had made a nest in my Engine. The little monsters ate into some wiring and hoses. They were able to get me back on the road safely, and informed about my best future options. I will definitely use their services again, and would recommend them to a friend.

I had the most detailed and thorough care yesterday when I took my car in! I was about to head out on an 8 hr drive, and my car was making a funny sound. Extremely last minute, I decided that I should bring it in. I have never worked with Urban Autocare before, but Jason moved heaven and earth to help me THAT afternoon. My car ended up needing a replacement part that they were able to source, have delivered, and replace in my car before they closed that evening. I was able to get on the road safely in only a few hrs after my original scheduled time. Along with this, the they went over every last detail with me to ensure that all parts of my car were in shape, and I had a comprehensive report. I am so happy to be able to work with a shop that is trustworthy and really seems to care about their clients. It gives me great peace of mind.

Was having a few problems with my engine grinding in cold weather, and James at the lakewood location was able to fix the issue and get my engine performing like new again. James who was great with communication and was very kind, I was constantly kept in the loop on pricing, repair needs, time frames for repair, etc. Just got off a follow up phone call with the team checking in to make sure things are still running smoothly, which I thought was very considerate. I will definitely be returning for future car repair needs. :)

I've been going to Urban Autocare in Lakewood for several years now, and I've always been very impressed with their quality of service and communication. They know my vehicle and what it needs and doesn't need, and go out of their way to help me understand what needs to be done. I don't feel like I've ever been upsold, and there have even been several times when they have explained what an issue is and mentioned how it is not pressing, and what repairs would be needed vs not needed. Most recently I had the pleasure of working with James, who helped me out a ton while figuring out an issue with my brakes. I would absolutely recommend urban autocare

I usually never leave reviews but this time I feel like I have to because I've never seen a service like this in my life. I heard weird sounds in the car and online reserches suggested problems with the transmission. I have a mitsubishi and appearently the transmission can be very problematic and me and my wife had a lot of worries. Me and my wife called twice or more and all the times Jason took all the time that was necessary to explain the potential issues, potential costs as far as they could, make sure he cleared all our doubts on the spot. He explained how they operate when it comes to checking the car (they take notes of everything they find). After checking the car Jason called us and let us know all the things they noticed by sending us the notes and explained them. The notes come with pictures and prices that you can see while he explain every single note. Also the notes are organized by importance and urgency. They make you very aware of the things that are not important as much as the things that are, explaining the risks and danger without insisting on having jobs done. Professional, well organized, prepared and exhaustive. As things weren't enough just with the checking of the car they offer a lyft service included in the price. I come from Italy and customer service standards might be different but honestly I don't know how a service can be better than this. Jason is the man and honestly all the staff is reflects the same quality. Recommended 100% and I'll definitely be back.

I brought in a vehicle a couple months ago and Jasen helped me. He actually said that they weren’t the best people to work on my vehicle and sent me to another shop. So much respect for them for doing this. It’s hard to find people who are honest about what they can and can’t do. Then I brought in another vehicle today and the level of customer service and honesty with my vehicle again was simply out of this world. He personally was great, but it seems like everyone inside this business is polite, great at listening, don’t feel pushy and they aren’t trying to sell me on anything. Amazing service! Really explained everything out and recommended the right services in order to get everything done I needed and then some for ~%60 of the dealerships' service charge. On top of that, I received a full diagnostic report, even found issues the dealership would've missed, with photographs to show me exactly the issues in the report. The complimentary Lyft ride made it even better as I was able to get back home and work with minimal interruption to my day - highly recommend!

Truly fantastic. We've been through the ringer with auto shops recently. Ive felt like I can't trust anyone anymore. This place was referred by a friend who sang praises of them and she was absolutely correct. These guys are friendly, compassionate, very well educated and 100% transparent. They will absolutely take pictures of every item on your car that needs work, and they'll tell you the order of importance of each item. They have absolutely restored my faith that professionalism and work ethic still exist. I'd also like to thank Susanne who is another client of theirs for referring me. Thanks again you guys!
