Luis is the best! I needed a fix on my VW Jetta for the engine light and had taken my car to the KAR shop where they told me that I needed a transmission specialist. I called a transmission shop and they recommended Luis. I had that work done with no issue and brought it back for the recommendations the other shop remarked. Luis was honest and indicated that one of the recommendations was not even valid. He worked fast on many repairs in just one day! If you have a foreign vehicle, skip all the rest and call Valette! I will call him when I need service again.

I brought my 2008 Mercedes 350 Convertible in . They repaired the front strut and oil leak no problem. It also needed a part to operate the convertible roof.Luis is an excellent European mechanic, very honest and fair. He kept my car over the weekend and fixed the roof.Daniel even gave me a ride home. I took my 1992 Volvo 940 into the shop to address issues resulting from its historic age and frequent use by our grandsons during these past five years. Luis went through the pristine vehicle as though it was his own and helped to identify mechanical problems deserving his professional attention, from repair of the ac to repair of the shock absorbers to replacement of brake pads to repair of shift gear. He was thorough in his assessment of needs to make the car run like a charm again, and he was honest and reasonable in his charges for his exceptional attention-to-detail service. Being a resident of Arizona since 1971, and having past experiences with auto mechanics servicing any of my vehicles during this time which always included at least a Volvo, I have not equaled the kind of professional and friendly service rendered by Valette Auto Repair. I would highly recommend this hard working shop owner for your European, domestic, and import auto repairs!

Luis, the owner is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Incredibly honest, reliable and affordable!...and did I mention he is soooo nice!! Luis cares about the work he does! I didn't feel like "just another customer"! I live in Prescott and he was well worth the 2 hour drive! I would not recommend anyone else in the valley! Both times I took my Nissan in they took such good care of me! First time back in September needed some alignment work done. They were able to work with my mechanical warranty to get it all fixed. This time I thought my breaks needed fixing but it turned out everything was fine, he sent me home saying they had a lot of life left. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an honest mechanic!

In a fit of desperation me and my partner decided to try out valet auto repair after his Audi began to have more and more problems. We took it to the shop and the owner luis was very mindful of the car and got it checked, to our luck the cars water pump went out so we left it there for a full checkup. After getting back to us Luis explained what was going on and what needed to be done, he was very thorough and did so at a very very fair price. He was very honest with his estimate and we couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for a good and honest mechanic and business owner, valet auto shop in chandler is going to be your place. In July 2025 I was experiencing a coolant leak in my 2017 Volvo S90. Luis opened the hood and immediately pointed out several significant problems that were not mentioned by Volvo of Gilbert Service department at my 70k service in March 2025.
