In response to Vallie response. The lifter problem should have heard and diagnosed before sending it home to me with just exhaust manifold and spark plugs replaced. There is no way your mechanic could not have heard the knocking then. I have also just learned that there is no normal ticking and that the tick that continues is most likely from another valve that needed repaired but didn’t get done the first time. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND ARE LIARS! If I could give no stars I would. I brought my truck into them for the first time in April as they had good reviews. There was knocking in my engine. They said it was the spark plugs so I had them replace the spark plugs for roughly $1500. The next day I was driving to head out of town and it was vibrating, shaking and knocking so bad I had to turn around and bring it back to the repair shop. I was upset that there what they did, did not repair what I originally went In for but decided to give them another chance besides the fact that my truck was already there and not running. I felt like they were milking me for money at this point. I had to wait another six weeks for them to get the parts which was fine but after spending another $4500 in repairs. On my way home I noticed it was still knocking, vibrating and no AC now. Sean the front office guy said the mechanics should have checked everything before having me pick it up and bring it back. I was told the vibrating was from my aggressive tires and the knocking will never go away because it is a Ram 1500 5.7 liter and that tick is the gas going into the engine.But that my AC was because my evaporative core had a leak and was leaking before the worked on it because when they went to drain the AC to do the repairs that needed to be done on the engine it was already dry and they just forgot to tell me (yeah right)and that I needed a new evaporative core for the AC but would give a discount of roughly $1000 to replace it. I knew my ac worked before. So I took my vehicle to another reputable repair shop to check my AC and found that there was a leak but only needed a new seal and would only cost me a few hundred not the thousand I was quoted as a discount which I found from this repair shop as well is actually the full price and no discount. They are liars and will rip you off!!

I can't say enough good things about this place. I've never had issues with any work done and they are always forthcoming with what work they feel is most prudent. Sean has been just as kind last week as he was 3 years ago. 10/10 tell your grandma to go here.

It takes a lot to get me to write a review. This place not only does great work, but I am most impressed by their honesty. I needed a differential replaced in a work truck, and told them to do it. After investigating they found it was something else and saved me over $1,500, and "cost" them a $1,500 job for being honest. Since then I have had them work on all my personal vehicles and work trucks, and am VERY HAPPY to have them as my mechanic. I highly recommend them!

I had them replace my starter and they had it done within a few hours and at literally half the price I was quoted from a competitor. They were my first call because they were highly recommended, and they also got my business because of quick responses and great pricing. I even denied the first quote because I didn't realize how good a price I was getting, and had to call back and remove my foot from my mouth to set up an appointment. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles to them in the future and would recommend them to everyone.

I found these guys through google. I reached out because of their website, it had the information I needed to inquire further about my needs, specifically, a complete and IDEALLY Digital inspection. I am shopping vehicles at a local dealer, from out of town. Sean took my phone call, he was pleasant to talk to, and knowledgeable about the what the shop had to offer in terms of what I needed, as well as knowledgeable about what work is included or part of the inspection I was looking for. He was able to take my needs and provide solutions. Even when asking questions beyond the scope of the service he was offering. He offered information that helped me understand not only how what he is offering is covering the bases of what I was hoping to learn, but also offered insight to the depth of the inspections, and how they can indicate a need to go into further depth. With this, he offered insight into what I may encounter not only during this inspection, but made sure to help advise me to what I needed, instead of just tack on more services. Through his actions and insight, he created a confidence that he had my needs, not my wallet in mind. Sean has taken the time to make sure that even if I had no idea what was going underneath the hood of a car, I understood the purpose, the scope, and the value they were offing with their Digital Inspection. What Sean didn't know, is until very recently, I was a service manager in an award winning NAPA GOLD just like his, in another town. I like to think I can spot top level service when I see it. Guys like this are not everyday occurrences, and representation like this is a solid indication the shop has its head on straight. I wanted to give this man a direct shout out, Bravo Sean! Your are killing it. I don't do much business in Billings, but I sure know where to go.

I wish I could give a 3.5 stars as a 3 seems low but a 4 seems high. I recently took my truck in for service, and while the customer service was awesome, the overall experience was a bit mixed. Sean, at the front desk, was very respectful and polite, and he made sure everything was handled professionally and punctually. I brought the truck in for several issues: warped rotors, oil change, radio stations moving on their own, AC not working properly, the motorized truck bed window not functioning, and a few squeaks while driving. While they took care of the oil change, the rotors, the squeaks, and the AC blower motor, some of the other issues were either still there, not fully addressed, or new issues cropped up. When I came to pick up the truck, on a Friday evening, the airbag light was now on (was an error code that wasn't erased), the radio could no longer find stations, the AC blows better but now doesn't work during idle (I was charged for AC diagnosis only on the 1st trip), and the back window now only works half the time (which is better). I drove it for the weekend to check for other issues and brought it back in on Monday. Everything was fixed in a couple days, aside from the radio, which needed to be warrantied (can't fault the shop for that, that's on their parts seller). Had to wait a couple weeks, then bring it back in for the third time, free of charge. It seems that the mechanics were either rushed, paper work got mixed up, or a review of all the work wasn't properly followed, on the first go around. My mechanic also happened to be sick and I assume, had to leave for a couple of days. Maybe some paperwork got mixed up between mechanics on what was supposed to be verified to be done? I appreciated Sean’s excellent service (5 stars), but it was frustrating having to take it in 3 separate times, and everything was able to be fixed after a couple of iterations.

I would not recommend Vallie to anyone. Took my pickup in and they had it for over three weeks (which that alone would not be an issue if the repairs were all completed properly). They charged me $3800, and 2 of the 3 things I took it in for were not fixed. Ended up taking it back in, and they tried to charge me another $900 for the same repairs. And on top of all of that, when I picked it back up the top half of my steering wheel was somehow bent forward at a weird angle too.
