I brought my older vehicle a 94 Chevy van into there shop today. It was having problems with shifting thur the gears. In no time at all Brian had it figured out and I was rolling out of there in a very short time. Brian and his crew was very professional and knowledgeable. Double thumbs up!!! Excellent Job. This review is long overdue! Brian and Lerma took very good care of me and my Jeep. I took my Jeep to them when another repair shop could not fix my transmissions issues. Brian is a true professional and even tried to fix the issue on the spot at no cost. Ultimately, my Jeep needed transmission work. The project was done on time and on budget! The entire process was smooth and his work is super clean! If I could give Brian and Lerma 6-stars I would. My Jeep is now safe and hopefully reliable (only time will tell) for me and my family to enjoy! I look forward to collaborating on more projects with Brian and Lerma!

If I could give 0 stars I would! Terrible customer service don’t recommend! Bryan had me running through the wringer for a month saying he could help with his TEAM (which is just he & 1 other guy). He never responds to messages you have to get lucky to catch him & if he’s even serious enough to act like he cares to get you in to help he complains saying next week over & over again it’s a bit exhausting. How they don’t have a scheduling management setup doesn’t make sense unless he just felt whatever was necessary to get in for him because every week seemed to still fill up since I couldn’t ever get in. How people like this stay in business with such terrible management & customer practices we’ll never know.

All the accolades Brian receives on this site are well deserved. Brian and his crew are as honest as the day is long! His attention to resolving your issue is about getting it done right not just guessing or selling you something you don't need. Brian and his crew checked my 2002 Suburban for a transmission leak and told me it was a simple engine oil leak that was caused by a loose oil plug. Best transmission service I've ever used. It's hard for me to trust mechanic shops as I do all my own work but needed to upgrade so my 4t65E-HD would hold a bit more power. After talking to Brian I could tell he knew what he was doing and gave me upgrade options for my 2009 Impala SS. They turned my car around in 3 days and when I drove it I was very impressed with how firm it shifts with the upgrades. I've read the other reviews and as most smaller family shops would do, if you threaten them or try to make up problems that don't exist you might be told to move on which is what I would do. Very nice couple and honest family business.

I had an appointment scheduled in advanced. I had my car towed to their facility and when we got there NO ONE WAS THERE! I told the tow truck driver to leave. Bottom line was the owner never showed up for 2 hours! when he got there he said his 2 employees were out and never gave an explanation on why he was late. Poorly run business. Beware

Let's face it, transmissions aren't cheap. Brian is an honest guy, charged us wholesale price for a new transmission with no overhead, plus the cost of his labor. Got it done quick even though he was shorthanded. AND told us about a Nissan CVT settlement (Feb 2022) and helped us figure out how to make a claim to get it reimbursed. 10/10 mechanic and an honest dude. Can't go wrong here. Edit: We got the check today, covered in full. Never would have known to try and get reimbursed without Brian's help. And the car is still running great!

I recently purchased a dodge Journey that was leaking and I was informed that it was my transmission. To be sure I came to this place because I was informed they do free evaluations.. they showed me the issue and gave me a price if I decided to get it fixed .. and before leaving they added transmission fluid for me for free so I didn’t have to drive some more without fluid and possibly make the situation worse. Too bad these guys mainly focus on transmissions, I would’ve loved to come to them for any of my car needs.. it also was a lady in front that was very nice and answered my questions. I highly recommend

I spoke at length with Brian about a rebuild for my 2006 TrailBlazer SS(4L70E). I'm usually hands on, but transmissions should be left to pros like Brian. He recommended a stage 3 rebuild, the price was very fair for the RnR plus rebuild. It's been almost 2 years and I could not be happier.

I'm someone who always does my own car repair because I've had too many bad experiences with mechanic shops.. but I ended up breaking, dealing with a transmission issue. So I took my 1987 Jeep Cherokee to Brian at Vegas Transmission Repair LLC after buying a replacement transmission and installing it.. just to find out the spline shaft was completely wrong. Brain recommended a transmission rebuild because finding a transmission that would fit my Jeep was like finding a needle in a haystack.. which he was completely right about. Brian was patient with me, worked with me on a reasonable price, he did the rebuild faster than I could've ever expected. Not only did he do great work on the rebuild.. he cleaned the entire transmission up, clean enough to eat several meals off of.. sent it back to me looking and running brand new. Brian and Steve are friendly, meticulous professionals, great men and an amazing business. I'll never take my cars to ANYONE else when it comes to transmission work. I was new to Vegas and had my transmission go out in Dodge caravan. Thankfully I found this shop where Brian is a long time master transmission mechanic. Honest and fair which is super hard to find these days!!! Any transmission repairs can be a total nightmare but he took the time to diagnose and fix the exact problem and not sell me anything I truly did not need. Dealer wanted to chatted me over $6k parts and more for labor. I paid less than 1/3 for quality work and a fixed transmission. Don’t hesitate to visit his office and let him get you fixed up and for a fair price!!!!
