Arfeen and Ali are great mechanics and honest people. You can trust their service, knowing that your vehicle will be in capable and trustworthy hands. When a Mazda dealer's service told me that my bushings needed replacement and quoted me an unreasonable price, I decided to get a second opinion from Vernon Repair. Arfeen inspected my car and assured me that the bushings did not require replacement. Instead, he recommended replacing the rear brake pads, which were nearing their end, and performed the replacement at a fair price.

Was on my way home from queens about to get on the Ed Koch bridge when my speakers started cutting out and my dash lights began flickering. I decided to pull over and check for any mechanics in the area on a Saturday afternoon, fortunately I found this shop on google maps. After giving a call the mechanic let me know he could help me out and to stop by the shop. Three blocks away from the shop my car battery died and the mechanic ended up coming to me, jumping my battery, and diagnosing the problem being the serpentine belt on the spot. Within an hour I was on my way back home. The price was reasonable, the service was amazing, and I was made to feel comfortable by the mechanic who was working on my car. Would definitely use their services again.

This place is absolutely amazing. I have experience so many issues with my car in the past 4 months and the staff have resolved it within less than a week. The staff works hard, and they are super friendly. I have never seen such honest and hard workers at an auto shop. I am usually weary of going to just any auto body shops as everyone knows they tend to sometimes rip people off but Vernon Auto Repair has been the most honest and best customer service I have ever received. I brought my car in for front and rear rotor and brake pad replacement already having the parts and the team had it done in 2 hours for a very fair price. Highly recommended and to me one of the more trust worthy businesses in NYC!

This is the kind of business I like. I found them after losing patience with one of the big chains that I’d been using out of convenience. Replaced my rear rotors at half the cost. They really try and solve your problem in the most economical way and they realise that loyal customers are worth more in the long run than trying to gouge you for money solving problems of little importance. They’ll show you what the find up close so it actually makes sense.

Did an amazing job on my car, you can tell he puts a lot of effort and goes beyond than what’s asked for. I had my front brakes done by another mechanic and he did my rear brakes and you can automatically tell the detail he puts in. My rear brakes look brand new compared to my front brakes.

I recently took both my truck and BMW X5 to this auto body mechanic shop after separate accidents, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their work. My truck had significant front-end damage—including the headlights and everything else—and they restored it to pristine condition. They also expertly repaired the damaged door on my BMW X5. Changed front shocks here for ML55: After shocks changed car was somehow lowered than before and wheel start hitting fender on some bumps. After i called Ali, he recommended me just to visit Mercedes dealership, which isn’t convenient for me, but after quick googling i found that problem is in Torsion bar settings, which can be fixed in 5 mins just by 18’’ key. But Ali wasn’t happy that I’m asked him to finish the work that way, so i needed to set torsion by myself with Ali’s tools on next visit. Just hope next time u can be more easier and helpful with clients about tools Sharing :) nothing will happens to them! But generally Ali is professional & honest. Work was done Quick with reasonable pricing, so definitely can recommend u try this shop.

Easily the best customer service I have ever experienced from a mechanic. Highly recommend. I'm from Westchester and my car lost power steering late at night on the the RFK bridge and my car started smoking. I thought my car would be stuck in Queens. Ali drove to meet me at my car which was parked in Astoria, identified the problem immediately, rushed to buy the part, repaired the car in less than 2 hours, and then picked me up in my own car where I was hanging out with friends nearby. All the while, he had a great attitude and communication and charged me a fair price that was agreed upon before he did the work. It felt like he genuinely wanted to help.

I have never done a review, so please bear with me. 😅 To start Ali and Arfin have been a pleasure to see! I called around 9am to see if they can take a look at my car since it kept jolting and I told them it could be the transmission or spark plugs. (YouTube videos lol) They told me not to worry and to bring it in. Once there they were so supportive and attentive to all my concerns and questions that I had. They went above and beyond making sure everything was great! They did a test drive, double checked and even checking even with me each step they did. Their customer service is one of a kind and so is their work! Fast and reliable!! If you’re looking for someone who knows what they’re doing, come here!
