My husband was on a long trip from SE Texas to SW Arizona and his truck kept dying on him he limped it to Vista Auto and they were awesome. They ran a diagnostic and had him fixed up in under an hour and on his way... Mike was extremely friendly and went out of his way to help.. The price was great too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know.

I had a car emergency that needed urgent attention. As my life is centered around my car I need it and was being told by many it’d be at least a few weeks before I could get it back. The towing truck company I had called said this place could help me and get it done same day. And that was true. He got it to the shop the owner looked at it and diagnosed it and texted me update pictures and got it to me the same day. Upon my arrival he had many cars being worked on so to be able to squeeze me in for this same day was a blessing. The owner was nice and informative. And the price was good considering how fast he got the job done on a specialty car. So if speedy repair is what you need cause you’re like me living alone with only one car I recommend.

I had my car completely die on the side of the road. Every other repair place said they wouldn’t be able to look at my car for at least a couple of days. The tow truck driver (George) recommended this place. Not only did they (Sam) look at my car right away but it was fixed by the next day. Price was lower than I was expecting (needed a new alternator). I found my new mechanic for my car. I will definitely be going back for any future needs. Highly recommend this mechanic shop!

I called Tuesday afternoon and the owner told me to take in the next day. I took it in during my lunch hour and even though they had people in front of me, they helped me and got me out under the hour. He took the time to explain what he could do to prevent a big unnecessary expense. After he took pictures to show me what he had done and sent me on my way. Owner was very nice and courteous. Great experience at the mechanic shop Sam was great I broke down at the Wal-Mart on Yarbrough and he went and got my car running to take to the shop once at the shop it only took about an hour to replace the starter gave me a deal on the repair would absolutely recommend this mechanic helped me out a lot because I would have had to get a tow truck just to move my truck for the repair plus part and labor awesome service will definitely come back and recommend!

My five speed stick shift linkage broke while visiting town. Vista Auto Service was able to take my vehicle right away. Parts were hard to find, even offering to check the local junk yard if they couldn't find new old stock. I had to leave car in town tell I could get back a week later to pick it up as I had to be back to work the next day; they accommodated my schedule. They even identified a broken rear window regulator, offering to repair it as well if they could locate parts (again offering to see if junk yard might have it). Owner called me to give me updates on repairs even while I was out of town. Great communication.

Okay I got the catalytic converter and the water pump and front bearings fixed and he charged me 2800. I bought the catalytic converter but it wasn’t the one that needed to be replaced because he put it on and then ran a diagnostic test and the code came up for the converter so he got the one that needed to be replaced. He called me to tell me that it was ready so we pick it up and the passenger front side tire is scratching on something so we turn around and take it back he fixed it within the hour so we go on our way. Two days later it smells like something is burning and I see smoke coming up from the passenger side again I take it back they say nothing is wrong that it’s just the oil that the bearings have that is burning off that is what I saw so okay I drive off. Then four days later my truck is making strange noises mind you it’s the same passenger side again so I take it back the owner tells me to leave it so they can fix it he calls me the next day saying it’s done. I pick it up then the next day my transmission problem service light comes on I take a picture and I take it to Vista again he has me leave it he then tells me that the transmission fluid is ok but he ran a diagnostic test and the transmission code came up so he cleared the code but if it comes back on to take it back. I told him that my transmission was good until I took it to them and he again stated that he cleared the code. This place gave me back my truck more messed up than when I took it to them. When he ran the diagnostic test to figure out if the catalytic converter I bought was the correct one then if the transmission was messing up the code would of came up with the code for the catalytic converter as well. Please don’t take your vehicle here it’s overpriced and they mess up your vehicle more.

Very bad experience, had a tow truck company take my car here because they recommended them "very good service" I trusted the guy, biggest mistake ever they charged me for a diagnostic for my vehicle,didn't even show me a paperwork or any report showing what the diagnostic report was, Sam the owner sweared it was the battery and alternator which was never the cause, I took my vehicle to BMW service and nothing what Sam told me his "diagnostic" reported was accurate . When I picked up my vehicle I founded a pack of cigarettes, and they lost my mail key and took all my change that I had on my vehicle ! VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AVOID GOING HERE .

This guy has been around with the same shop for years. He is very detailed on what needs to be fixed on your vehicle. He will let you know was urgent and what can wait. But the Best part of it all his prices are outstanding compared to other mechanic shops. He charges you buy the mechanic labor book+parts and still will beat the other competitors. Thanks for working on my Lincoln Yukon and F150. They are all running great.

This is a great place for reasonable price for quality service. The owner works hard to satisfy his customers I was quoted a 3,400 dollars at Dick Poe for repair on my Jeep ,went to Vista and was charged 1,850 for the same work! Please keep this company in mind when you need auto repair!!!

This place was recommended by a tow truck driver that was taking my 2015 ford escape away from another shop that didn't wanna touch my car and im so glad he did. I had a transmission overhaul done as well as front end suspension and rotors. Sam and his crew got it done in a reasonable amount of time and a very reasonable price. Also a bonus to me is they warranty their work. Hands down best experience with a mechanic I've ever had, I would definitely recommend
