I acquired some nearly new tires. I called Walmart and made an appointment for my wife to take my truck there to mount the tires. I was told it would be no problem. After my wife brings my truck in, the man at the counter states he can't change the tires out. Why not? He says that he can't be liable for drivability issues when changing tires to a different size. Well, the size of tires are the exact size listed on the inside of my truck's door. Why there would be a drivability issue, I have no idea. But he gave my wife the hassle of refusing to mount them without giving a reason that makes any sense. So she left. I ended up going to big o tires, who, after looking at the new tires said it would be absolutely no problem to mount them. They did it for me in about an hour with no appointment. Thank you big o tires understanding what you are doing. The gentleman at Walmart had nothing to do, the shop was dead. It appears he would rather sit there and do little. I will never go to the Walmart tire center for anything. Total incompetence, in my opinion.

Very easy to schedule oil changes online and they get it done quick. Fast air filter replacements too ππ Only wish that they would top off the antifreeze everyplace else does Walmart might as well get In gear as well.

Was told 45 min to an hour its now been an hour and now told again they didn't even have it in the bay for the appointed time nobody has a sense of urgency around here the employees are no help at all dont go here

Horrible. The guys that work on your car are not professional. Waylon turned me down on mounting two tires. Refused to get me in when they were not busy. Walmart employees turn customers away. Walmart is good for everything else. For your vehicle needs please take to Big O tire or your next reputable tire shop.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. After having an appointment scheduled, they took our car in more than 45 min after the appointment and told us that they didnβt have the correct tires. They only had 3 of them and stated that the Walmart Auto Center on Garrity had 1 that we could go pick up. And if we got it back by 5:35 they could still do it. We drove all the way to Nampa, got the tire, brought it back and were here by 5:33. Then the lead, Josh, proceeded to tell us that they said 5:25, not 5:35. Which they didnβt, myself, my fiancΓ© and my son all heard Josh say 5:35 and they refused to do it. When we confronted Josh about it he was extremely rude and condescending. I stated that the least he could do was apologize and he just walked away from me after scoffing, he did this to my fiancΓ© as well. We wasted our time and money going all the way to get the other tire and to be treated like this was extremely disappointing. This was poor customer service and I will not return to this Walmart auto center again. They lied to us about the time the initially stated and did not even apologize for the inconvenience. We then returned the tire that we went to go get through a lady named May, who did apologize. I would appreciate a call about this as it was such a poor experience.

Had my appointment for 2p. Arrived 20 minutes early and my vehicle didn't start getting worked on until 3:40 for 2 tire installation. I was also quoted one price at their desk by one member and another charged me almost double that price.

Extremely unpleasant experience working with Josh. Extremely rude to me when trying to schedule services and said that new tires could take up to THREE HOURS to install. When I questioned this, he literally scoffed in my face and walked away. I should've read all of the other reviews about this kid and Wal Mart's service in general, but now know never to come here again. Go somewhere else, spending the extra money at a reliable tire center is well worth it compared to the headache these people will put you through.

I decided to give them a call, hoping to get some clarity, but it was immediately obvious that they had absolutely no clue what they were talking about. It felt like I was speaking to someone who had just been hired yesterdayβcompletely inexperienced and unprepared. Every time I asked even the simplest question, they stumbled over their words and then put me on hold for what seemed like an eternity, as if they had to consult a manual or ask someone else for the answer. Honestly, if youβre looking for bad advice or just want to waste your time and energy, Iβd recommend calling Walmart. Theyβve perfected the art of giving you the runaroundβendless transfers, vague responses, and zero solutions. Itβs almost impressive how they manage to frustrate you while simultaneously draining your patience and, ultimately, wasting your money on whatever subpar service or product theyβre peddling. Proceed at your own risk!

Jag was especially helpful. He was very knowledgeable about batteries. I came in with a dead battery, they tested it and attempted to charge it. Even when I asked if he would be able to accommodate trying to charge it once more, he did so without hesitation. Low and behold, it fully charged. There wasn't any cost for this service. I also bought my last set of tires here. I shopped around extensively and they had the lowest price. I also love that they also have evening hours!

i had an appt for 4:30 & my husband had one at 5:30 so we came to walmart together..when we got there we waited around for 10 mins past my appt time then finally was helped. then after my car service was done an hour later we told them that my husbands jeep is next on the list & he says β i wish you wouldβve told me that ur jeep was here then i wouldβve pulled it in at the same time as ur Subaru, that guy is supposed to leave at 530 & im supposed to leave rnββ¦like what? if we didnβt show up at the same time they wouldβve closed early & not go my husband in?? AND its like why wouldnβt you have two spots available for that time frame then?? idk seemed like an odd thing to say to a customer who had an appt set.

They cancelled my first appointment because they didn't get my tires in when they promised. Waited an hour and a half past my appointment time today before they even brought my car back to put the tires on. I'm not sure why I was surprised by lousy service at Walmart. I'll never buy tires here again.

I was pleasantly surprised by the service here today. I needed a tire replaced, quickly. They had it in stock (they even held one of the only two left, for me) and an open appt at 6:00pm. They got my car in right away, put the new tire on and I was out the door by 6:30! Thanks to the auto care guys that helped me today and worked on my car tonight, truly appreciate it!

Had an appointment at 9am for 4 new tires and only one person was working Kayla. I want management to know this woman's name. She was doing oil changes and tire replacement alone. I told her not to worry about how long it took and she did an amazing job. Kayla deserves major recognition as well as a raise. My tires look great because of her. Made appointment for 10am, wasn't until 11am before they even got my SUV into shop. π€¬. Definitely not a strong point for Walmart!!! 2.5hr later I got 4 tires installed. Lots of lies and excuses !!!NEVER AGAIN!!! Note: There was finally a young man whom had customer service skill, and actually de escalated the situation and got to work. There was another young man whom help him also, so I had two people working on my SUV. That is how to treat the customer right and take action to address the issue. Unlike the manager - Vicki and all the other associates.

Was told there is only 2 people who work in auto and if they are both working on a car they will just ignore customers / phone calls in automotive. I was told that it would be an hour before someone could help me, but they close in an hour so that doesnβt really help. The same associate said that you just have to get lucky that they arenβt working on a car to have anyone help you. They donβt do appointments.

Apparently they close at 4 on Sundayβs even though there ours show 6. Ruined my trip because I was relying on them. Disappointed and will never return and give them business. Felt selfish and like they just wanted to leave early instead of doing their jobs. Even posting this at 4pm, sign shows 6pm. Closed?

Appointment was 30 minutes late, but I easily could have looked past that. I had brand new tires put on, less than an hour later I had a flat. I had to go to les Schwab and they told me Walmart put the tires on wrong, so all the air leaked out. Had to pay more money to fix your guyβs mistakes. I tried to call to see if yβall would fix the tire, no answer. I called a different Walmart, they told me they couldnβt help me as they were understaffed. So yeah Iβll never be using Walmart again. I always used to get my oil changed here, no thanks. :(

Waited 4 hours to get tires put on and they didn't put them on correctly the tires are marked to line up the yellow dot to the valve stem only one is lined up all the rest are not even close and one the tires didn't hold air over night

I was so very excited to find a great deal on tires that were direly needed on Walmart.com. I was looking forward to my appointment to have these tires put on, as my old tires were worn to the cords. Initially, the price for the product was what drew me in. The tires did not ship by the expected date, so the service was put off until the tires arrived. Walmart.com shipped these tires to a different Walmart location on Overland that was more inconvenient for me. I was willing to put up with this inconvenience, as the value was still important to me. I did have to reschedule my appointment once they did come in, as I was unavailable to make it to the second scheduled appointment because of pain from a recent surgery. The employees were a bit unorganized in scheduling this second appointment. When the third appointment arrived, the auto center employees stated that they were running an hour behind. Then they stated they were running 1.5 hours behind, because they were taking customers that were late to their original appointments. I felt disappointed, because I was on time to my appointment. At the end of the service, it took over 2 hours to mount 2 rear tires. The employee explained that it took this time because the employee did not know how to get my car off of the oil lift. They explained that they did not put my car on the tire lift because they were working on a truck on the tire lift for the full 2 hours. I was given a $10 discount for my inconvenience, however I would have gladly paid the $10 that they deducted to know the job was being done more professionally and that scheduling was more organized. I guess the feeling was, that I was so excited to have found a blessing with the cost of the tires and that I was going to be able to be on the road safely, and then very disappointed that the appointment went the way it did. I believe, in the future, I will go to a dedicated tire shop, even if it means extra cost.

Oil filter is over tightened to the point where it wonβt come off. Called to ask for help or assistance and they told me to get a tow and go to a shop. Going to cost me loads of money to get it to a shop and taken care of. will never be using their services again and would strongly advise if you want good quality work to go somewhere else.
