Last week I had called everyday all week but got no answer. Finally on Saturday when i called the store manager, they were able to connect me with someone to set up an appointment. I came here for my app for a tire change and oil change 1pm Sunday and they were packed. I asked the manager how long and he told me an hour and $25 per tire though the sign said $10 per tire. I kept busy and at 2 i went to check to see if it was ready but it hadn’t been done touched. They told me it would be another 2 hours And there were only 3 people working per the tons of appointments they had. HOWEVER I spoke with a gentleman named Daniel and he set me up with an appointment for today at 11. He was completely kind and was genuinely sorry for he was overworked. I returned today and my car was done within a half hour. The price was correct and again Daniel was very pleasant. Mondays and Tuesday’s are their less busy days and I suggest anyone go on those days and speak to Daniel to make an appointment because it seems the manager doesn’t do his job and this gentleman does it for him. 3 stars for this worker

DO NOT BUY TIRES HERE! Placed an order on 4 GOOD YEAR tires on black Friday. Debited our money, and the email said they'll hold the tires for X number of days. We tried to schedule installations no times were available for weeks. Then, 6 hrs later, they canceled the order, no reason given. We placed a 2nd order the same day after speaking to an associate, and they said they sold our origin tires, but had better ones we could get and assured us if we ordered them these tires would fit our car. We went to get the tires Installed wrong size. Returned these tires, it's been 10 days, and still no refund. Called customer service. I was told a supervisor isn't available they'll call in 24-48 hours. I demanded to speak to someone waited 25 minutes. I was then told their superiors computer didn't have sufficient resources right now. However, in one hour, it would, and I'll receive a call. I placed a THIRD order this time via affirm payments since the tires were WAY more expensive. we set up an appointment for Jan 3rd for installation. It's Dec 29th. I got an email from Walmart that they canceled 3 of the 4 tires? I went to the tire center in person after calling for 1.5 hrs with no one answering, I spoke to a nice manager named Pamela she was unsure exactly why 3 of 4 tires were canceled but all 4 tires are there. However to get the order via affirm again we would need to place ANOTHER order for 3 tires they would return 3 of the 4 they have currently (we have a loan for 1 tire at this point) I called customer service no manager available i was given a case number and advised someone from management would call in 48 hours again... this place is a MESS!

Walmart is by far the most convenient place to go get your oil changed. You don't need an appointment. You stop in whenever you want. The staff is friendly and it's super fair prices per usual. The wait time is usually short enough that you can just browse around or do a little shopping in Walmart. By the time you finish your shopping the car is finished. You do have to make appointments for more serious car issues such as getting your tires changed. Overall, this is very convenient, fast way to get your oil changed. Thank you for your great service!

Ordered tires for a Tesla. On line it says they do it, let's you order the tires, the mounting, and schedule the appointment. But then the store says , we don't do Teslas, they are too expensive?? To change tires??? So canceled my on line order.

Called a few times during open hours to make appointment, they never answer. Then when going in person you can see why, extremely under staffed here. "Please people, check your groceries out at main registers, don't waist the staff and customers time checking food out in auto center, they are busy enough dealing with auto center...". Long wait line just to talk to someone in auto center and I only had tires to be mounted on rims without bringing car in, staff was confused at this and did not know how to deal with me or enter me in system. I blame service manager, people were nice to deal with so give them 2 stars.

I had an appointment for more than 2 weeks in advance. I drop off my car at Walmart in Chicopee MA for service. They call me later stating that they dont have the tires that I ordered . I asked for tires around the same price and I was told that they didnt have any complete set of tires for my car that if I want the service i can install whatever they have in stock and come back a diferent day when they have the rest if the tires. Worst service ever. Stay away from this place.

They would have got a higher rating if they knew how to answer their phone and when they finally do answer the phone they put the phone down so I could hear their conversations with three other people for about 20 minutes before I hung up the phone

I took my car in for what should’ve been a simple oil change. I waited an hour for my car to be damaged. My car handle was broken into two pieces. No one informed me about this. I payed, signed something, went into the car and noticed only half of my handle was still in tact. The other half was sitting in my cup holder. I went inside to ask about the handle and was given disrespect and attitude. They claim the handle had already been cracked which most definitely isn’t true. Apparently the technician tried to super glue it but the lady at the desk said I must’ve glued it myself. She was so disgusting (cussing and very unprofessional.) Besides the fact I also payed for synthetic and they gave me the wrong oil. The whole situation was blamed on me and they didn’t take any responsibility. I couldn’t even have a conversation with the manager nor get an apology. Horrible business..

This is the WORSE customer service I have ever received. I Oder to pick up a TLC 75” tv at this location made sure it was available to be picked up . I made the order. 3 hours pass by and I received a message saying item not available I call customer service and they tell me that the item is not in stock I say there were a few last night there they say no I’m sorry but is out off stock it was a system failure .. they ask me if I wanna cancel the Oder or get it delivered and I have by sep 20 to make a decision. So I get in my car and I arrive at this location go to the TV section and right is front of me There’s The TV the EXACT TV! So I go to cashier explain to him the situation and he tells me to go to customer service , the nice woman at customer service points me out to were the people of pick up Oders are at so I can ask. One of the guys helps me and tell me that someone did not wanted to do the Oder and they marked it has item unavailable and in there end the item gets cancel and once is canceled theirs nothing they can’t do he says his gonna get the manager when the manager comes he does not take No accountability at all just says if is cancel I can’t do nothing I say I did not cancel it he says but in our end says it is cus once we put item not unavailable it cancels it automatically. So to be clear your Employees got lazy and said I’m not doing this so I’m gonna cancel the order. Horrible experience.

On road trip, came in because we had a Walmart battery with warranty and the technician ranked around on the terminal battery cable and said it was loose and he would not touch it. He said we needed a mechanic. I asked if he could at least check battery and he said no because he knew that was the problem. Well, on turnpike our car completely shuts down because the connection completely popped off. We managed to get to shoulder, have rescue tow, go to a mechanic who just tightened it, checked everything else out, no other problem And got us on our way and didn’t even charge us. So angry. I think the pulling on it caused this disaster

This place has the most unprofessional workers I have ever seen in my life. I came in to have a tire mounted and put on my car something that takes very little time if a person has basic knowledge. Instead of a quick 30 minute appointment I spent 2 hours to have a single tire put on to my car. Employees instead of completing a simple task instead played on their phones and talked with other employees. If you have any self respect for your free time avoid this place at all costs

I took away my 5 star review and would like to give a negative-100 review! Start off by saying I have used Walmart auto center for over 2 years for simple oil changes, I had never before ran into an issue. Until now! PATRICK .M was the tech and let me say I am sure he is not train in any sorts to do an oil change. When I arrived it was an schedule appointment, my car had NO PRIOR ISSUES! NOT EVEN THE DRAIN PLUG. I waited over an hour which was fine, but sorta unusual because they are quick. When I was cashing out, I heard him tell the cashier,( which deserved a raise, he was doing everyone's job and more his name is Carlos Q) That he tried but oh well. Never spoke to me directly. Gave me my keys and I went on my way, I drove around all town with my kids, while my oil leaked!! My car pan was damaged to the point the car lost all the oil, my engine started noises and smoked, I was stranded with my family. I had to tow my car to a shop and was car less for over 10 days. Due to PATRICKS.M lack of care for others. If I would've kept driving my car could've went on fire. If you can not do a job please do not do it. To add more I also have problems due to the car loosing oil I even called and spoke to supervisors, Shanna and NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK. I will keep trying or take PATRICK to small claims court. This shouldn't have happened A $25 oil job turned into. $1100 job which I didn't have. I am out of work on surgery.

Walmart Chicopee Automotive Center is the worst when it comes to customer service. They can never answer the phone nor decide whether to book an appointment or do walk ins for a car service. Just terrible customer service. This needs to be fixed or hire people that maybe likes their job.

If I could give less than one star ⭐️, I would. There is no communication between technicians and staff are unprofessional. Simple tasks scheduled for 1 hour took 3. Simple requests unfortunately can’t be followed. The technician hung around and talked with co-workers instead of working. If their pay was dependent on customer satisfaction, the business model would improve. Currently, poor performance = same amount of pay. The manager of the auto care center could not have been more unpleasant or unhelpful. She went out out of her way to be rude and dismissive to polite requests. Do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY from Walmart Auto Care Center. Just horrible. This sad 😞 picture of the waiting room says it all.

The people working there are nice, but god forbid you try to call the auto care center—they’re too understaffed to pick up. This, plus issues with the Walmart website (not any employee there’s fault), led to a very unfortunate experience for me in which I ordered tires online and made an appointment, but when I showed up in person, the web portal had not communicated it to the staff at the physical location and I had to make a different appointment. Miscommunication between website and in-person store caused a waste of everyone’s time.

I recently had an oil change scheduled at this Walmart Auto Center and faced a few issues. After waiting a week for my appointment, I arrived on time only to find out they didn’t have the proper filter for my car, which wasn’t communicated in advance. This led to a rescheduled appointment a week later. When I returned, there was confusion about leaving the key. The manager told me I should have handed the key to the office staff, but no one informed me of that requirement, even though I had left the key in the car during my previous visit without any issue. The inconsistency and lack of communication were frustrating. On the positive side, the service is affordable and convenient. I hope they improve their customer communication and consistency to prevent similar issues in the future.

If you make an appointment because you ordered some parts and they schedule you be aware that if the parts don't get there your appointment is canceled. But outside of that the staff is great. They do their best. The service is good and they're relatively efficient

The manager there was the only person in the customer area. When I first walked in she was on the phone with one her employees and she was so sweet to them. She was very sweet to everyone. At the end it started to get busy and she checked me out and a couple went up to her and said they had an appointment. So while she was checking me out I turned around and said she's only one person. She didn't get frustrated and had a smile the whole time. Shout out to Pamela at the auto center at Walmart.
