I was appalled by the rudeness of the woman working in the office yesterday. She was dismissive, impatient, and lacked any basic customer service skills. I've never encountered such poor treatment from a business employee before.

I get the long wait. I don't like it, but it is what it is. But, why the attitude? We took our car in because there was a nail in the tire. The lady at the counter seemed a little upset that we decided to wait. Why, your not working on the tire? The technician that worked on my tire did an excellent job patching it. It's because of that you received two stars.

Have been to this center a couple times and have gotten the same representative who is consistently rude. App says pull up and show barcode. They say no go inside, so you park. No complaints. But go inside, and you’re greeted by someone who is just mean and impatient. Tried to get out the door once and she says “it’s stiff”. Try again later when my car is ready and she yells “well maybe if you’d ask”. Maybe I thought the door was just stiff still. Some guy went out in front of me seemingly without asking, so I’m sorry. But like not worth yelling about maybe ?

This Auto Care Center really came in clutch today. I called and asked for spare tires for my car because I suddenly had a flat tire. It was 10 minutes before they closed, but they still helped me out. AND I CAME ABOUT 5 MINUTES after they were supposed to close!! One of the managers, Don, and his crew were superb workers! When I showed them my flat tire, they informed me that it would be much easier and cheaper to fix the tire rather than buying a new one. They talked to me about the entire process and even how/where to purchase tires and rims so that my brother and I can have a spare with us. They were super nice about everything and went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get home safely tonight. This visit was honestly the best auto care visit I have ever experienced. 10/10 would come here again with any auto repair needs!!

Lady with red hair that sits outside waiting for people to check in defiantly needs to be nicer. Came early in the morning to get my tire fixed and she defiantly didn’t want me there. I will never come back to this wal mart!!!

I waited an hour and a half for them to change 2 tires. I imagine it didn't take this long; however I don't know because no one ever told me my car was finished! Although a few friends and I were the only people waiting. I guess I was supposed to scan a barcode of somesort to get updates on my car but this was never explained to me. The various employees must've thought I really loved the waiting room...

They just paid me a cash settlement of $229 for damages from putting at least one quart of extra oil in my car. I brought in a healthy car for an oil change. I left with a car that was violently rocking back in fourth in idle. I was going to wait to take it back on my off day but it was clear while driving I needed to get to a shop ASAP. The mechanic I took it to discovered that the oil was extremely over filled. He also had to replace my spark plugs and engine coil. Walmart told me when I picked up my car that they put in 4.7 quarts. My car holds 4.2. The mechanic discovered that it was over by at least 1 quart which shows that the 4.7 wasn’t even accurate either. I don’t recommend taking your car here. The manager told me himself that all the mechanics are on the edge of being fired. I can say that the managers handled the situation extremely well. I was expecting a refund for the oil change but they paid the full $229 for damages. Claims normally take weeks with Walmart but mine took 1 hour. I think the GM had called corporate to get it through. I signed that I would not take legal action and they took fault for the damages which state “improper fill of oil”.

Everyone in auto is always miserable. The employees and customers. It's been like this for years. There needs to be a cashier there at all times. The guys in the garage are extremely slow. There was no one in the tire line this morning. And my friend's truck has been sitting up there for 2 hours and still hasn't got served. Don't even get me started on how the website will say that there's tires there and then there really isn't. But the biggest issue is Walmart is the cheapest place to get tires but everybody always weighs if it's worth the frustration of the auto techs. Slowest people I've ever seen.

We checked in to have a tire replaced, waited a couple of hours and they still haven't started. I finally asked if they could let me know how many cars are ahead of us and they said two so it would most likely be two more hours. Apparently appointments can come in and push everyone else back? The whole system makes little sense. I don't think I will be coming back if we can get out of here. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else, the savings is not worth your time.

Awful experience. I made an appointment at 4:00 pm. By 6:00 pm they had still not gotten to my car. Eventually, I left around 6:30. I was up at Walmart for 2.5 hours with an appointment made, but never got service. A week later, I then made an appointment for 10:00 am, to which it took them 2.5 hours to complete the job. In total, it took them 5 hours to change a tire and a headlight. I was also lied to multiple times regarding how long it would take. Avoid this place at all cost!

No one has priorities or customer service. Waited over 30 minutes to an hour just to drop off a tire with only 1 person in the waiting room. Then only to come back a few hours later for them to still not even have started on it and are standing around. Complete waste of my time. Did I mention my car was hit by another vehicle while I was waiting. Complete joke.

As a college student, this was my second time changing my oil by myself without my father's help. I was quite nervous about being scammed because, last year, I had a negative experience with another shop that significantly overcharged me. The women at the front desk at the Walmart Auto Center on MLK were incredibly kind and understanding. I explained my past experience with getting scammed, and they assured me they would give me the best price. They did— I paid less than half of what I had paid last year! If I could give them ten stars, I would. The customer service here is outstanding! I will definitely be returning!

Needed a new battery in my vehicle, so I stopped by and returned the previous battery and purchased a new one. Turns out, I gave some wrong information about my vehicle, and was recommended the wrong battery. Totally my fault. Came back in to have them install the battery themselves, all while assuming I would have to pay for a whole new battery because of my screw up. Instead, they refunded the previous battery (Which I had installed, so a return was unlikely without manager approval) and set me up with the new battery almost free of charge! Completely grateful for their help and patience. Service time is slow, but their kindness and helpfulness more than makes up for it!

DO NOT GO HERE!! TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!! Got there at 9am for my appointment and did not leave until 10:45. All I was there for was a tire inspection on my back tire. They then proceeded to have me buy a tire, sign for the tire, and THEN TELL ME IT IS THE WRONG TIRE and that my keys will be brought to me to leave???? I ONLY HAVE 3 TIRES ON MY CAR AT THIS POINT!!!! The manager did end up taking care of it but such an awful awful experience.

I purchased the roadside hazard plan when I bought new tires at Walmart. I took my truck in to have the tire repaired but they refused to service my vehicle claiming my truck was a liability because the key had broken off in the ignition. They said I would need to take the tire off of my vehicle if I wanted it serviced. I asked for a refund for the money I paid for roadside hazard but they said that they couldn't help me. Do not buy tires or roadside hazard from Walmart. It seems they don't care about customer service anymore or honoring contracts. As many other reviews have mentioned, Tammy, who works at the front counter, is very rude to customers. As a business owner, I have no idea how she continues to have a job. Very disappointing.

I would not come here again and I would recommend that you don’t either. I got here at 330 for my oil change that was supposed to last until 430 at the latest. At 4:35 I go up to the counter to discover that they have not even STARTED my oil change yet. Please do not come to this location! I would recommend going elsewhere.

Great service, they were very fast. I go in and make an appointment for the next day, then go early, and get my tires checked, fluids topped off

Awful experince, I shecduled ahead of time to get a new tire. Had to wait an extra 30 minutes to get my car even seen and then another hour to fix it. Two days later the new tire has a slow leak do to the install being incorrect. I keep trying to shecdule an appointment with them but they shecdule me and then cancel last minute. They refuse to shecdule me again despite having the staff. Totally unprofessional and rude

Made an appointment to get a tire looked at and over two hours later they still hadn’t even moved my car in the bay. Turns out they scheduled me for the wrong day and then forgot to rotate me in. My car was essentially a lawn ornament sitting outside for hours while people without appointments came and went and the mechanics just drove around it. Save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else.

I had a great time at this Walmart tire shop, De Mario one of the associates helped me out a lot, there was a tire that was hard to fix but he did it! A sidewall flat tire repair! He showed great experience, a positive attitude and great support! Definitely an employee of the month! Thank you De Mario!
