Had a leaking tire and they got my car in quickly. Turned out the leak was in a part of the tire that wasn't patch-able. They charged me nothing and helped me to pick out a spray-in flat fixer product to help me get back home. Great people here!

I called walmart and asked them to order two tires. A couple days later I got a call saying that the tires were in so I made an appointment. When I got there, they couldn't find any evidence of my tires and said they had never been ordered despite my messages on my phone that said it otherwise.

I was promised a price on some tires from one of their managers and now they won't honor it. Also, they won't tell you if they see anything wrong with your tires. They just won't perform the service that they claim to do and let you figure it out later. Pay a little more and go to a different shop, it could save your life.

It's a typical Walmart. Could be a little more cleanly, especially in the toy section where my toddler found a rotted, half eaten avocado and half drank coffee. The car service people are amazing and friendly but I really wish walmart would update their inventory so they actually know what's in stock and what's not.

On Monday evening, the 11/22/21, I called to inquire if they had the car battery we would need, in stock. Answered yes! Great Tuesday 11/23/21, I call again to confirm said battery is available, again they check and yes it is. I advised that we will have our car towed in to their service dept. and asked if that was okay. Answered, yes! Great!! We would keep in touch as car arrives, work being done, completion, etc. The car is towed in around 9:30AM. I call again to verify they have the keys, my information, and service needed (replace the "dead-dead" battery). Later in the afternoon, I call again to inquire time frame out of curiosity and to make a plan for pick up after work. They reply it would be soon. And proceed to ask if there is any other service needed...? Sure, I said! Lets do an oil change as well, it's about that time. I receive a text at 4:30PM "Your vehicle service has started...." Another text at 4:38PM "Your vehicle is ready! Please come pick it up." WOW, that was fast. Notify my family member to pick up the car after work, arrangements made. I call to inquire price. They tell me $25.47. Me: "That's all?" WM Employee: Yes, $25.47 for the oil change ME: What about the battery replacement? WM: We didn't replace the battery Me: W H A T? What do you mean you "didn't replace the battery? That is why it was there. That is the ONLY reason it was towed there this morning...? :/ WM: I'm sorry The story goes on..... turns out their inventory was WRONG and the battery was not physically in stock! Eddie, the gentleman helping me was very apologetic and was trying to find answers to solve the problem. I swore a little here and there out of frustration and apologized for my foul language, as it's not Eddie's fault and my cuss words were not aimed at him. And I understand these things happen. Good gosh though, I would have towed it elsewhere. However, I remind myself, things happen...let's move forward to get this figured out. Eddie gets his manager to see if she can assist in determining when the battery will arrive. Eddie has GREAT customer service skills by the way! "She" the manager, not so much. Explaining our situation again, asking what can she do to assist in making this right a wrong...."She" was no help at all. I suggest contacting another Walmart, on Floyd Blvd. see if they have it...and if so, maybe we can take care of if the next morning (today)... She tells me they do not do that. That is BS I said! When we bought our tires there, they had to transfer them over from another store (which was the Floyd Blvd store). I get that it is not her fault either. I'm offering suggestions and she simply plays a good "duh" role! So I ask, what is she willing and or able to do, as a manager of her department, to help us make this right as soon as possible. We simply cannot be without a vehicle until the 29th (oh yes, she did say that she shows this battery is to arrive on their next truck which is the 29th, but that sometimes they don't get everything they ordered...thanks COVID). Upset...very, very upset that I chose Walmart over Fleet Farm due to a few dollars difference in the battery price...ugh! End of story is this: "She", the manager, could use some training in customer service. After getting a "meh" of a response...my naughty, swearing mouth said another couple of cuss words #*$*#*&^ and a @&^!)...and well, she hung up me.... Ah well.... The family member went in, paid for the oil service. Got the keys. The car battery still "dead-dead". We will have it jumped by someone and brought to another service center...and I will be sure to ask that they PHYSICALLY check to be sure the battery in on hand. Never again, will I use this Walmart Auto Care Center, simply due to this manager!! Eddie, you are a champ. You're manager could learn from you!

Stopped by to get oil change 2 days in a row at Floyd Blvd location and both times was told they were done taking walk in customers. First day was at 4pm and one guy was busy doing an oil change while the other guy was just sweeping the floor and not in a big hurry with that broom either. Next day pulled in at 3pm and was again told not taking any more oil changes for the day so I asked why is that. The person who happened to be in the area putting keys on the rack told me this and said " oh they been real busy all day today out in the shop, they told me to tell any customers that come in that they're done for the day". I said it's 3pm fella, they close at 6pm. He comes back with maybe they're just tired or burnt out. I couldn't believe it. After this b/s, I decided the hell with their cheap oil change. I'll go elsewhere from now on...

Today I just needed a replacement tire. I brought the bad tire in with me so they could just put a new tire on my rim basically. The auto care center definitely appeared to be working with a minimalistic crew today. Regardless, my tire was ready in under 45 minutes! I ran a couple errands after dropping it off and it was done before I returned! Both gentlemen I interacted with were very polite, professional; and really I think downright friendly is a better way to word it! Both of them provided superior customer service and made my check-in and check-out transactions quick and simple. I have not always had positive experiences when it comes to Wal-Mart; but I can say that I was blown away by the auto care center team that helped me this afternoon! For that I must say to both gentlemen working- Thank you so very much! You guys rock! ~Happy Tire Customer

Daughter had a blown tire. They had a good substitute even though it was not the exact same tire as the other 3. The technicians we're able to replace the tire in good time since we were there right before closing. They had the tire replaced in about an hour and was able to send my daughter on her way!

Price is cheap, so everyone comes here. I came a few minutes after opening and the wait was about an hour to get to my vehicle. By the time my car got seen, the wait was past noon. When my car was done half hour later, I heard them say it'd be 4pm. Get here early or plan to spend your day wandering the aisles.

I called to have a tire dismounted and then have said tire disposed of. Whoever I was speaking with also told me they would take any old tire for a $2 disposal fee. I took them in today, and then I was told they would not take any tires, even the one they were taking off my wheel. The guy that was helping me had no explanation on why they wouldn’t take them. I’m not sure if is lack of communication or different shifts have different rules or what.

On my lunch break at noon I called to see what time the Floyd location was open until and was told only 3pm. So I called the Singing Hills location and was told 7pm. I got off work at 5pm and got to the Singing Hills location at 510. Went in and told the man behind the counter I needed an oil change. I only saw maybe 3 cars total and they were already inside. He said I think we’re done taking oil changes for the day let me go ask my manager. He comes back and says yep we aren’t taking anymore. 2 hours before closing and you can’t take another car? Could you have told me this when I called at noon. The man behind the counter had literally zero people skills and I wasn’t told hey come back between these hours tomorrow, nothing. I work until 5pm M-F and was so happy to learn they were open until 7pm. Im very disgusted.

The WORST place I’ve ever been. I was told it would be a 40 minute wait and it took almost 3 hours. No one updated me on the time change. I had to continue to ask when my car would be done and every time I get 20 minutes and then 20 more minutes and nothing. I asked for a discount since I had to triple my quoted time, and was told no. They told me the reason that my car took so long is because a car that came in after me had a lot of problems. do not recommend at all and

We called before even going to ask for pricing to get a tire mounted and ask if we needed an appt. The answer given was "11 dollars to mount a tire and we accept walk in's so no appointment needed." My husband asked for the total cost of the two tires he brought in to be mounted, but was not given an answer. After they did the tires, the price rang up was over 66 dollars! Which was not in the budget, so asked to have the tires back. The guy just walked away rudely and came back a while later with the tires. It's no wonder anybody you talk to says don't go to Walmart auto center. Less than poor customer service at best.

The guy's were cool, they babied my Camaro. I laughed when they said they were gonna lift it on the two post. I said "wanna bet" when they told me. When I came back an hour later they told me how they had to use the low pro Jack instead. I told them it was low hehe.

Purchased brand new tires from Walmart.com and scheduled the installation at the Singing Hills location. My appointment was scheduled to only take an hour, but actually took 3 hours. A few weeks later one of the tires repeatedly goes flat, so I take it back in with the receipt showing that I purchased the extra road hazard protection plan on top of the tires still being under warranty. They then told me it’s the valve stem that’s leaking (that they installed) and they cannot repair the leak due to the size of the tires. I called the other 2 locations in my area and got the same answer. I took it to Discount Tire and they replaced the stem for free the same day.

They were nice. They got me in right away even thou they had other customers. The only thing I have to say is Walmart should get longer lasting batteries bc I had my battery for only a year and half and it wasn’t good anymore!! The was another in the same situation as me and thankfully we both had warranties on our batteries , so I didn’t have to pay for another one. But longer lasting batteries 🔋
