The staff in the auto care center were great! Very attentive and helpful. Just by watching them, you could see that they really do try to accommodate all their guests. Even in the late part of the day. Thank you for being ginually good people. That's a rare find these days.

Had my oil changed here. The mechanic striped my oil plug, then put a note on the paperwork that I had a link to cover hid butt. If I had a link, why didn't he just tell me? It took about 2 weeks for all my oil to link out after he stripped my oil plug. I was not low on oil before he did the work. I didn't have a link until after I took my truck in to get it serviced. Had my tires rotated and balanced also. He didn't put the valve caps back on 2 of my tires either.

I had a good experience in the car service center at Walmart on Skibo Road in Fayetteville. The customer service representative was very friendly and helpful. Also, the representative took time to locate what I came to the store for, and that meant a lot.

It took about 4 min for someone to help me at the front desk and only after I asked "Is someone going to help me?". They were just standing around and chatting. When asked about an oil change they were very rude. They said it would take an hour to do the oil change and that they were going to call me when it was done (I was next in line). After an hour had passed, I came back asking about the car, they couldn't find the keys for a while and when they did, they said "Oh yeah we couldn't do the service because the oil can was too tight" so they parked the car and said nothing to me. When I came home and did my own oil change I had no problems unscrewing it. I told them "Was someone going to call me about it?" all they gave me was a lot of excuses. Knowing it's Walmart I did not have expectations but the lack of customer courtesy baffles me.

Do not go here! You’ve been warned. We waited two hours for our oil change and I finally inquired if my vehicle was done. They told me the system is down, therefore they couldn’t do my oil change. However, they didn’t bother to let me know. There was a waiting room full of us - all the same scenario. This isn’t my first bad experience at this auto center. Side note, the manager should be FIRED. Won’t return phone calls, hung up the phone on me numerous times after placing me on hold.

My experience at this Walmart was disappointing. I waited from 11:30 AM until 12:00 PM to check in, but my car wasn’t ready until 2:30 PM. All I needed was a battery test and replacement, which should have been covered under the less than three-year warranty. There were only three customers ahead of me and four technicians available, yet there was no explanation for the long wait. I wasn’t even notified that my car was completed at 2:02 PM.

I took my car over to the auto center last Monday around 9am because my tire pressure light came on. There were two guys talking to each other at the front counter and I asked if they were open, and proceeded to tell them my issue. This was the second issue I had with this tire from the previous weekend when I ended up getting a large screw removed, and my tire plugged(by a different place). So one of the two guys checked me in, and took my keys and said they would check my tire and text me when they were done. So I ended up leaving and going to some other stores while I waited. Fast forward to almost 11am, no text, no call. If I didn’t show back up to the auto center and see my car parked back outside, I wouldn’t have known they finished the check! So I went inside to see how much the service would be, and I asked the same man that checked me in what the findings were. The gentleman told me they couldn’t find anything wrong with the tire, and if my pressure light comes on again to bring it back. So I said okay cool, grabbed my keys and went home. Two days later, my pressure light comes on again while I was leaving for work. So I went straight to Walmart. I got there and before I could get in the door, one of the mechanics told me they couldn’t help me, they didn’t have a lot of help. The way he said it was a little rude! They only had one car in the bay, and I saw at least three guys! Then he told me I would have to come back at 10am, and I could make an appointment for another time, not the same day. I’m thinking, if my tire pressure is super low (22PSI) and going lower, why would I wait and then come back at 10am!? So I left and went to Firestone at Cross Creek mall! Firestone saved the day! Come to find out, I actually did have a problem with my tire, and I needed a new tire ANDDDDD the guy who checked my tire at Walmart from my first visit put my tire bolts back on wrong! So I won’t be returning to this auto center, not even to put air in my tire! The second visit the guy wasn’t very kind, and the first visit they didn’t even put my bolts back in right! A hot mess! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! It may be worth it in the end! I gave an extra star because at least they were willing to help the first visit, other than that, they deserve one star.

My recent experience at the Walmart Auto Center in Fayetteville, NC was beyond frustrating and unprofessional. I scheduled an oil change and tire rotation, and was told over the phone that I didn't need an appointment for the tire rotation. I arrived at 8:30 AM for my 9 AM appointment, checked in, and waited—only to be told later that I couldn’t get my tires rotated because I didn’t have an appointment. When I explained what I was told on the phone, it didn’t matter. What was even worse was the complete lack of urgency or professionalism from some of the staff. One employee spent most of her time wandering around the parking lot on her phone, chatting and laughing without pulling in a single car for service. Another was smoking a cigarette, also glued to his phone. Meanwhile, the waiting area was full of upset customers, all watching as nothing got done. In the two hours I spent waiting, no effort was made to move things along, and it felt like the customers' time didn’t matter at all. The only positives were the cashier and the guy who did my oil change—they were at least courteous. But even they were hindered by what appeared to be severe understaffing and a total lack of leadership. A supervisor was out there working instead of managing, and the entire operation was chaotic. I am beyond disappointed with this Walmart location. If they can’t provide basic service in a timely and professional manner, they don’t deserve to stay in business. This level of negligence and poor service is unacceptable. I only come here because I bought my tires from them and the rotation and balance are free, but honestly, it’s not worth the hassle anymore. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and strongly advise others to do the same. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place needs to be shut down."

If I could leave 0 Stars I would! Please DO NOT GO here!!!! I took my car in for a simple Oil Change and they managed to round my drain plug which caused the oil to leak out of my car! I called back to speak to a Manager to discuss the Issue and he said the vehicle was Not touched even though it sat in their Bay for an hour and a half. After I told him that my car was not leaking Oil Prior to it coming there he Hung Up the phone on me! I will be following up with a Supervisor but I wanted you guys to Beware of this Bootlegged Operation that they have going on over there.

Best experience at any Wal-Mart. Lamont was amazingly knowledgeable and friendly. He found my tire warranty cover a new tire. I was done in less than 1 hour. I will return to the Skibo location even though I live 5 minutes from Gillis Hill location. They have staffing issues often.

Helpful and quick Able to replace my new tire with road hazard on the spot, hassle free, unlike the service at the other W+ location. This will be my defacto store for automotive service, from now on

Originally I made an appointment online yesterday, March 2 got the confirmation number and everything and then late last night. I get an email saying they are canceling my appointment because they don’t have the two tires that I needed for my vehicle. Fast forward I get here at seven this morning there is one car in front of me getting four tires done. The gentleman that originally helped me told me it would be about an hour for him to do the other car in front of me then I would be after her ( and they do have the same 2 tires the email told me they did t have!!) OK fine no problem. Here it is 1057 and I am just now leaving with my vehicle. The gentleman name, Orlando, who was running the register and the tire and service that it was completely rude and condescending to over a dozen different customers that came up to him the entire time I was here waiting on my vehicle, including myself. He had his name badge flipped around, so nobody could see his name and then when I asked him his name. He told me his name and then proceeded to flip his name badge around and lo and behold. They said 15 years of service. For someone where it’s supposedly 15 years of service, his customer service was very poor unprofessional and he clearly has some issues. Talking down to every single customer that approaches you or ask you a question about their vehicle is unprofessional and unacceptable.
