My Altima had broken down on busy 301 this morning. The towing company had recommended that I be towed to Weide Automotive. I highly recommend this automotive shop for any of your vehicles needs. Now even though I was an emergency situation and the shop had other clients in there already, they got me in very quickly. They almost immediately did confirm that it was my alternator and changed it out as fast as possible to get me back on the road. Jeremy was so helpful and kind, super knowledgeable and efficient! They're also incredibly affordable, trustworthy, and reliable. After being in Ocala for a year I have finally found my new permanent mechanics in Weide Automotive! If I could give them 10 Stars and 10 thumbs up I would!

Great experience. This is the ONLY auto shop I’ve been to where I didn’t feel like they tried taking advantage of me. Did an oil change on my truck fixed the AC that wasn’t working right. They were transparent about the issues and sent me an official quote to review before performing the repairs. No hidden fees or charges. Jeremy showed me the truck’s AC before he charged me, wanted to make sure I was happy with the repair. Jeremy is a nice guy and runs a great shop. HIGHLY recommend. I had my Yukon at other auto service centers in Ocala that could not determine the source of the rattling noise I was hearing. I took my car in yesterday and was feeling a bit unsure about what was going on with it. My coolant was bone dry, and I worried I might have a leak. Weide Automotive checked it out right away, and I appreciated how honest they were. They did a thorough check, including pressure testing, and they didn’t find any leaks. They were transparent about what they found (or didn’t find) and gave me clear guidance. The only thing they mentioned that might need attention in the future is a possible issue with the valve covers. It isn’t an emergency and doesn’t need to be done right away, but it’s something to keep in mind. As a woman who doesn’t know much about cars, I left feeling really good about trusting Weide Automotive. They didn’t oversell me on a long list of fixes—unlike some other places that push upsells at every visit. I’m very pleased with Brian and his team, and I will definitely be back. I can’t say enough positive things about this shop, I have Had my Grand Wagoneer in the shop for over 300 days since I bought it in 22. Integrity in auto repair is rare, and Weide Automotive Repair has it in spades!!!!! If you enjoy being told “everything is fine” while your car is very clearly not fine, then sure—go anywhere else. But if you want honesty, real answers, and to keep hundreds of dollars in your pocket, Weide Automotive Repair is the place. I have a 2022 Mitsubishi that had just gone over its warranty mileage. I took it to RC Hill Mitsubishi three separate times for a check engine light. Every single visit, I was told the car was running “to spec” and that nothing was wrong. Spoiler alert: something was VERY wrong. Last week, my car suddenly lost power and developed a scary mini death wobble while I was driving. Back to Mitsubishi I went—where they quoted me $1,100 just to start looking for the problem, with no guarantee it would even fix anything. That’s when I called Weide Automotive Repair—and everything changed. They got me in the same day. Jeremy greeted us at the door, actually listened to everything that had happened, and didn’t dismiss a single concern. He confidently told us he’d figure out the real issue—and he meant it. The very next day, Jeremy called with answers: a cracked pipe was leaking oil onto sensors, which was almost certainly the true cause of the problems Mitsubishi “couldn’t find.” The part took a few days to arrive, and the SECOND it did, they fixed my car IMMEDIATELY. And now for the part that still blows my mind… 👉 They saved me $900 compared to Mitsubishi. Let that sink in. Weide Automotive Repair isn’t just a shop—they’re honest, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about the people they serve. They have the right people doing the right work for the right reasons. On top of that, they’re veteran-owned and God-fearing, which says everything you need to know about their integrity. I can’t force you to take your car there—but if you don’t call Weide Automotive Repair before anyone else, you might as well be handing your money away.
