Wheelock auto has always done a goog job for me and they only do what is needed. They do not try and get you to buy services that are not needed. Had another service provider tell me I needed breaks but Wheelock told me while there was some wear I would not need them until the fall, before winter. I came back later in the year and had them done then.

We have been taking our vehicles to Jim's for years and it has been a mistake the whole time. We bought a vehicle, a 2001 ford f150, and we took it to have some front end work done, ball joints, C-V axle, and tie rods. Three days after we got it back, we left for a ski trip to Vermont. On our way back, the driver side wheel came off and it flew to the other side of the highway. Luckily no one died!! It could of been something mechanical, but is highly unlikely because the passenger side had 2 lug nuts out of 5 finger loose!!!!!! He keeps trying to deny it and say that he torqued the wheels down, but we all know that he is just lying to stay out of a lawsuit. This also happened to us 7 years ago on a different vehicle!!!! He does very shoddy work and treats his customers poorly! It is my mistake that I kept taking my vehicles there. Never again will he see business from my friends and me!!!

This is the only mechanic that I will trust with my vehicle. I had had several places try to trace down an intermittent issue with the control circuit where the dash wouldn't come on when the key was turned. 2 other shops couldn't solve it, but these guys found an issue in the on-star system that was basically locking the car out. We didn't use on-star anyways so just had them disable it. Their prices are incredibly reasonable and the years of skill they have in the shop really give me confidence
