The owner, Will, is a no-nonsense, helpful and approachable kind of person. He explained the full issue of the timing chain to me instead of simply stating that it needed replacing and giving me a price. He also mentioned other options for my truck. So I took my car in on June 12th for a brake inspection, expecting to pay a ridiculous amount of money for new rotors. Will had me fixed up within a few hours, repairing my existing rotors instead of replacing them, which saved me, I'm sure, a considerable amount of money. He was super friendly, communicative, and explained to me exactly what I was paying for. And now for the cherry on top... Just now, today, on the 17th, I get a text to confirm my appointment with Will's Auto on Monday the 19th. Confused, I look at my email... when I booked my brake inspection, I swore I had made the appointment for the 12th. Looking at it now, I made it for the 19th by accident! When I showed up on the 12th, Will didn't even bat an eyelash. He still had me fixed up same day, despite the fact that I didn't technically even HAVE an appointment! I was already impressed by the service I received, but now I'm totally floored at how kind and professional Will was despite my mistake!

He explained my car’s coolant leak issue efficiently, got it taken care of perfectly and paid much less than what was quoted. Had a great experience ! Brought in my daughters car, and Will was awesome. He first asked me what I wanted/needed to do with my car, and I’ve never been asked that - just told what I needed. He sends pictures of what’s wrong and of the progress. He explain things in layman’s terms but not like I was naive. Overall good trustworthy place .

Our daughter had sudden problems with our car while away at school. It was a stressful situation that could have gone badly. We were able to have the car towed to Will’s where they assessed the car’s needs and quickly fixed it within a couple of days. Communication couldn’t have been better and the end price was fair. In a situation where it could have gone differently, I was able to trust Will’s to be helpful and honest. Thanks for that. We’ll be back if the car ever needs a repair again.

Will performed an amazing job on one of our service vans that has had a history of common repair issues with this particular service van. He gave us replacement options based on the longevity of the warranty on the replacement parts. In addition, Will was very efficient in fixing the vehicle in a timely manor so my guys could be back in the van for service calls by the next day. Will did a great job on both of our cars. His service was timely and very competitively priced. I really felt he was doing everything that was in my best interest: transparent with what’s wrong, what needs to be fixed, and pricing. He didn’t try and “up sell” me into doing things I didn’t need, or better yet, wasn’t comfortable with doing at the time. I do suggest Will for an easy, non intimidating, and enjoyable experience at a mechanic.

Will is a fantastic mechanic--no nonsense, fair prices, and a sense of humor, too. When replacing my alternator he gave me the option to replace with a new or used alternator, which is great for an older car like mine that doesn't need anything fancy (and boy have the prices of new alternators gone up!). In collaboration with a locksmith down the street he managed to fix the driver's side lock on my 93 Toyota that another mechanic had assured me couldn't be fixed. Highly recommended.

I don't write reviews but my experience with Will's was outstanding and deserving of recognition. Will thoroughly explained the issue and my options. He went out of his way to save me time and money. He was altogether professional and kind. His staff even fixed my loose rear view mirror without mentioning it or charging me. Until recently I had a friend who serviced my car and I was not sure I'd be able to find a trustworthy mechanic. I am delighted to have found Will and recommend him highly.

I’m very pleased with my experience at Will’s Maxwell Auto Repair! :) I was recently referred online by 2 of Will’s customers that I know personally. I drive a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid. When I called into schedule, Will answered the phone & was very helpful, attentive, friendly, & informative. The scheduling process was very easy. I originally just booked for a vehicle inspection (due to possible transmission issues) & an oil change. Will did a thorough inspection & gave me a run down of what was going on in only a few hours. He had to break some bad news to me- My model of car has to have the transmission replaced, which is an issue that is common with my particular car model. He educated me on the fact that Subaru may be able to help cover the costs of my transmission replacement, since this is a documented issue with my exact model. I asked Will to do an oil change still & I called up Subaru America to open a case on the transmission issue. Will did a great job inspecting my car & changing my oil. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have known that there may be a way to get financial assistance through my Subaru dealership/Subaru of America for a very expensive issue. Thank you for being so informative, & I really appreciate your excellent customer service & hard work!! Looking forward to next time! Going to refer to fam & friends! 5 Stars!

Great experience. I took my Subaru Crosstrek in to him to get new spark plugs. I really appreciated how he explained all of my options, pros and cons, and price differences. When I asked if I needed to replace my coils too, he was honest and did not try to pressure me into buying anything right away. These interactions were refreshing and I will tell my friends to come to Will's. Also had speedy responses and polite employees. My subie means a lot to me so I am happy it was in the right hands!
