Tom is not just a great mechanic, but a decent human, who's honest and doesn't talk down to customers. He's talked me out of spending extra money on repairs that could wait and found reliable used parts to save money when the motor in my seat went out. Tom identified a problem with work he'd preformed on the cv axels that I didn't notice. He pointed it out and replaced both axcels free of charge under warranty. I've been through many mechanics over 30 years. I would recommend Wrights auto to anyone.

Tom was recommended to me by at least a half dozen local garages and dealerships awhile back and have used Wright for several major and minor repairs since. Every repair has stood solid and remains reliable and problem free. Tom and the staff go well out of their way everytime, from staying late or expediting repairs, a loaner car when needed and honest prices. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my vehicle service. Thanks Tom I really appreciate it, you've gotten me and my Edge all across the country on my trips and I never second guess my cars ability or yours!

Prior to Wright’s Auto being recommended to me, I have taken my vehicles to a few different places. However, after my first time taking my vehicle there I knew I would always return. If you know Tom, you know that he is always slammed at the body shop. However, he has always found a way to get me in as soon as he can. Not to mention, my vehicle is ready to be picked back up within such a reasonable time frame. The prices have always been very fair and reasonable. Tom has always known what is going on with my vehicles once he looks them over. His daughter, the receptionist is always so welcoming when she has picked up the phone. This family is so kind and the customer service they provide is above and beyond. If you’re debating taking your vehicle here, I can assure you that you won’t regret it.

I had to get my car jumped and wanted to take it to a shop right away so I wouldn’t have to get it towed in the future, and when I called Wright’s at 4 pm (ish) on a Friday they told me I could bring my car in immediately and they’d keep my updated when they could get to it. I’d never used their services before, but based on my experiences with other mechanics I expected to have to wait until the next week or later, but I got a call not long after about the status of my car and the work needed. They were transparent about the cost and potentially limited availability of the parts necessary to replace the battery of my old car. To my surprise, I got another call at 10:30 pm (ish) that evening to let me know that he had tracked down and purchased the battery and installed it THE VERY SAME EVENING and that I could come pick it up. I was shocked and touched they put in so much effort into getting my vechicle back to me in such a short turn around and for an incredibly reasonable price. Their customer service, quality of the service they did to my elderly car, and value for the amount of work that needed to be done was mind blowing. I’ll never go to a different mechanic again and I cannot recommend them enough.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Wright Auto Service! We had my sons car towed in for a repair. All the service lights came on at once. I couldn't be more impressed with the service. From the moment we talked to Tom we knew we had someone that was honest and trustworthy. He was not only honest but very transparent about the work that needed to be done. He thoroughly explained everything in detail, so I never felt like I was being upsold or misled. The repairs were done quickly, and at a much lower price than originally quoted. Tom found some bad wires and was able to replace them, and my sons car is running like new. It's rare to find an auto repair shop that you can TRULY trust, but Wright Auto Service has earned that trust from us. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied,and I can't recommend them highly enough. If you're looking for a quality service, honesty, and reliability, this is the place to go. Wright's is the only place I will go. The most kind, honest owner and experienced staff. They regularly tell me "this isn't worth fixing" when my naive self could easily be taken advantage of, and bonus-fix little things that they notice need fixing. I am genuinely happy to see that I think they've raised their labor rates a bit over the years, they deserve every penny and you aren't going to get better labor for the dollar anywhere else.

Our granddaughter had a problem with her car not running properly on a -15 deg day and was afraid to drive it home from work, so I told here to leave it there. Because she was 100 miles away, I went online and found a repair facility nearby and called Wrights Auto - after hours on a Friday night. I was about to leave a VM when the owner Tom Wright was there and answered the call. He said he could get the car in the next morning and arranged a tow. I was expecting the car would need a tune up, coil pack, fuel injector or something similar. It turned out it was a simple broken vacuum line that they had diagnosed and fixed in a couple of hours. I highly recommend this place because of their honesty and genuine care to help a young lady who had no idea where to go for help with a car problem! Nice job guys!!!👍🇺🇸

Today I found myself between a rock and a hard place. Not being from Madison, I had brought my parents down from Wisconsin Rapids for an appointment at St. Mary's hospital. On our way down, my Hyundai started making a growling noise coming from either the front passenger side wheel, or the transmission, but I could not locate it while driving the car. After dropping my parents off, I proceeded to Zimbricks Hyundai to seek help. Though the scheduler took a ride with me, he wasn't able to offer any help. I called several other places, and nobody was willing to help. I randomly found Wrights Auto on my way back to the hospital, so I pulled in on a wing and a prayer. The gal at the front desk was extremely helpful, and before sending me on my way, asked her dad to come out of the shop and went for a ride with me. He was able to identify the noise was indeed a front wheel bearing, and said i could make it the 100+ miles home. When I asked what the bill was, he said it was no charge. I still have him some money to buy the crew lunch. Tom gave me the confidence that I needed to make sure i could get my parents home safely. You just don't meet people like this much anymore. If I lived in the Madison area, he would be my go to mechanic. Thanks ever so much Tom!!!
