2 years ago when I moved to the area I was worried about finding an honest and trustworthy auto shop, by chance I picked Yuba City Autoworks when I needed some AC work. I was very pleased with the work and price. I have been back several times in the last 2 years and have always had great service. The owner Nas and the rest of the team have have always been helpful. I can’t recommend Yuba City Autoworks enough, especially for hybrid owners. I brought my Prius in with some troubling symptoms, and from the moment I pulled in, the professionalism was top-notch. The owner/mechanic listened to my description of the problem and immediately identified what the symptoms indicated. What impressed me most was his honesty. Instead of just handing me a massive bill for a major fix, he actually took the time to dig into the incredibly tight Prius engine bay—a task most mechanics avoid or overcharge for because of how much you have to disassemble just to reach the parts. He worked incredibly hard, testing different components, cleaning carbon buildup, and ruling out smaller issues first to try and save me money. It is rare to find a mechanic who puts in that much extra effort to avoid a costly fix for the customer. If you want someone honest, hardworking, and skilled, this is the place.

If I could give it 0 stars I would . The communication here is awful . I dropped my car off to get a diagnostic at 1130am I asked the man if he had time to look at my car . He said he did . They close at 5. I called almost at 4 my car was not looked at yet . I get a text saying what it could be . They would look at it the next day . Great I didn’t know my car would stay over night . It’s 12 pm the next day there’s still no call so I call & theres no report yet . They said they’d call me around 2 . And guess what?! no call ! I had to call still no report ! The man did my report last minute right before I picked up my car . Yup I still got charged that 160$ . And they said they been working on cars that were others everyday commuters . Like SO IS MINE . It just sat in the parking lot all freaking day . He said he looked at my car yesterday and pretty much said he barely looked over it again . I’m never coming here again . I don’t want my car to be half worked on , no thanks . IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TIME TO WORK ON SOMEONES CAR CALL THEM . Waste of time .

These guys were straight up with me. Didn't try to talk me into the most expensive fix, gave me options and I chose what worked for me. After having to have my vehicle towed there, it's running again and I'm able to drive it every day still. They only charged me for diagnostics. The mechanic I took it to previously charged me to fix everything but the actual problem. They run an honest business and I'll be taking my vehicles to them from now on.

I found the personnel kind, polite, attentive, courteous. I was a walk-in on Monday morning for a smog and found I was given incorrect information on Friday. Sherika called her employer for particulars & I decided to wait for his arrival to handle the job.. They offer coffee, comfortable sitting, tv, & have an amazing office cat🐈⬛ Yoda, to entertain & keep me company The job was completed and Sherika informed me that because of my wait time; that her boss gave me the smog for half price. Added update below the first paragraph. 1st review: First time visiting NAS at Yuba City Autoworks. What a top notch experience. Nice and comfortable waiting area. Great staff. Very attentive. Prices are great!! Will definitely be coming back. 2nd review: As I stated in my first review, I will be coming back. Well I did come back. Nas rebuilt my Toyota 4Runner 3.0 motor back to factory specs. He thoroughly went through the motor top to bottom, inside to out. His turnaround time was very quick compared to other shops that are closer to me. His attention to details and communication are first class. I can not say enough praise about his shop and work ethic. He has earned me as a customer for life.
