This was the very frist time I used 17th street automotive. I called the same day too get me car expected,they had 8 cars to be expected the same day.and they took me as well some places would just turn you away. I had my car at another car place and things went south there.i rather not get into that because,this is 17th street automotive time to shine. Once I drop my car off for expection they immediately ,found a major issue with my car. Now why the other car dealership didn't see this is beyond me. Now they did have too fail my car for this inconvenience they found with my car. But I totally understood why. They was truly saving my car for more serious situation that could have happened with my car if this wasn't fix. So we they the okay too fix.my car was fix and expected the very next day. I was so surprised how they fix my car made sure it was up to good repair for me. And how they went out there way to make sure my car was done for me,I had explained what I went through with my car and they totally understood my situation. They didn't blow me off they went in depth with videos pictures,too show there customers that they are for there customers and there not there to blow smoke up your like other places do. I want to give a shout to Kristen she straight forward with you in a very polite way.she doesn't want to give her customers any on expected out of pocket expected fee's and I like that about her. So when you pick your car your not suprise at all if you do come out pocket for anything,there honestly was a number key for me.i rather know then not know. What I also like about them was before they started any work my car they emailed you a consent form that we had to sign stated we give them permission to fix your car. other plus for them is they had my car expected and running like a smooth as a new born baby skin lol no joke. 17th street is now my car shop for all my cars I will no longer take my cars anywhere else. Thank you so much 17th street automotive. 😘 a big shout out to them for fixing my car. If you need any work done to your car and you want honest and car shop there it for you.

The crew over at 17th Street Automotive really came through for me in the best of ways. The moment the car touched their lot I was in constant communication via phone and text. They kept me in the loop about any and all issues and their approval system was easy to use and very user friendly. They swiftly made the repairs and made all options available for quick payment. They treated me like I was their only client even though their lot was full. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

Fantastic Service and Inspection! My daughter was in an accident and was trying to find a car on short notice. They were able to fit her in for a vehicle inspection within 24hrs. The inspection was very thorough and even included pictures and measurements. Customer service was excellent and the lady that assisted me over the phone was the nicest I have ever experienced!!! Apt.made, inspection results discussed and payment made all over the phone from Alaska. Thank you all. Love the text appointment reminders!

I brought my truck to 17th Street Automotive for a coolant leak and a ticking noise. I was charged over $700 in labor fees and given an estimate of $8,500 in repairs, which was extremely alarming. After getting my truck back, I took it to another reputable shop for a second opinion. I was told that roughly 90% of the recommended repairs were completely unnecessary. Even more concerning, the second shop found that parts had been reassembled loosely, which put my safety at risk while driving the vehicle. I understand diagnostics take time and expertise, but this experience felt excessive, misleading, and unsafe. I trusted this shop with my vehicle and left feeling taken advantage of and worried about the condition it was returned in. I strongly encourage others to get a second opinion before approving major repairs here.

Super professional and transparent. I came by this shop through a trusted friend's recommendation and I was very happy with the work they did on my jeep. They recommended that I do a tune up on my vehicle that was a little more than I was initially ready to spend but took a chance on it and I'm very impressed by the results, it drives like new! Will be making them my regular maintenance stop.

Their team up front (Nicole and Kristen I believe) was so helpful. I had been at multiple auto repair shops this month for multiple issues and the team at 17th street was able to get me in quickly, run a diagnostic, and help steer us to the appropriate actions. I did leave a good review at first. But this is ridiculous. Took my 1995 suzuki carry to get fixed up. Battery light on, charging issues. Amongst other things. They did fix it right so it seems. I picked it up June 27th. The alternator belt broke again on July 5th. I maybe put 40 miles on it since picking it up. I also found that they used a lawn mower belt in the truck. Just because it fits doesn't mean its gonna work. 🤦♀️ I get its a small truck but I can get 60mph out of it. I'm infuriated currently. If it was something that ya'll couldn't handle....dont accept the job.

I called the day before to bring my car in for state inspection. Dropped off in the morning, before opening hours. They had it ready for pickup before 11AM. I really like how they send you an email with all the info of your car. They really take the time to make sure it’s good! They do a great job communicating! They made a loyal customer out of me!! Also very military friendly. Highly recommend!

I paid $300 in diagnostic fees and was quoted nearly $5,800 for a valve cover gasket, oil filter housing gasket, and alternator replacement on my BMW 328i. What’s frustrating is that the charging issue and oil leak are mechanically related on this engine, yet I was charged separate diagnostic fees for problems that were clearly connected. After getting multiple second opinions from other BMW specialists, I received quotes between $2,100–$2,900 for the same exact repairs. Customers should absolutely get a second opinion before approving any major repairs here. The pricing I was given was significantly higher than other reputable shops in the area.

Since this was my 1st vw jetta sel purchase a full diagnostic was done. Which resulted in a full brake job result of what dealer claim was normal. Spark plug change and transmission fluid change not found on carfax maintenance report. My overall experience with 17th street was pleasant and I feel they were detailed in their work and diagnosis. After driving the car for a few weeks now, I can say not only am I satisfied but I will definitely continue to bring my 2019 vw jetta sel to 17th street for future car maintenance and issues. The cost was money well spent for what I expect moving forward. Highly recommend this shop. They are now my mechanics.

I love going to 17th Street and go to them for everything that doesn't require dealer service. They are always accommodating, friendly, fix everything right the first time and are absolutely transparent about what is going on and they make sure that I understand everything and what my options are. I am an older lady and it would be super easy for them to try to upsell or pull a fast one, but they don't. They are a responsible and ethical shop that has earned my appreciation and trust. Totally recommend.

This will be a mixed review because I'm not very trusting of auto repair businesses so maybe they're the best thing since sliced bread but maybe not. #1 I want to acknowledge they have a great reputation-that's why I went to them- so that carries a lot of weight. I'm hoping that they've found a way to make money from state inspections without ripping people off. I took my jeep and car there for a state inspection, their inspection is comprehensive, if you want to buy a car this may be the place to take it, they go a lot deeper than do your lights work and are you steering components about to leave the chat. They let me know that my battery needed to be replaced, suspected it was bad, but it was nice to confirm. So I've changed my mind this won't be a mixed review, but I will say always beware of anyone who wants to sell you something you didn't ask for. Looking at the whole picture I believe this to be a good honest shop but stay on guard because things can change, I've seen it first-hand. For the state inspection they go over your vehicle with a fine-tooth comb, but everything they found on my car and jeep was valid. They documented everything and included pictures. I will end with this, no matter recommending repairs to your vehicle always review those recommendations carefully and ask questions if you don't understand something, if they get pushy or irritated from the questions that's a big red flag. But this shop seems good to me and I can recommend it right now, if you're reading this 2-3 years from now look at more recent reviews

Amazing experience at this auto shop! My problem was resolved easily and quickly; I got my car back the same day for a problem that I didn't think could be a quick fix. The staff are very friendly and communicate thoroughly. One staff member called me back to let me know of a cheaper solution he found but would have taken longer. I even was able to make a request to have a specific serpentine belt used for the replacement and they accommodated. I love the experience I had here and will definitely come back should I come across any other car problems in the future.

I give them 5 stars because they were able to fix an oil leaking that had been giving me a headache for some weeks. They worked fast and efficiently and the price, quite high, was as expected according to other estimates I checked on the same issue before taking my car to this workshop. The staff at the front desk was very kind and communicative, letting me know at all times the status of my car and providing me with detailed estimates. 6 stars for them!!! When picking up my car, I noticed a screeching sound when stepping on it, so I let them know. They took my car again and fix it very rapidly, acknowledging the mistake. Overall, I recommend this workshop and, in spite of being kind of far from my house, I will keep taking there my car for service. Very satisfied with it, good reviews on Google totally deserved.
