Pungo Service ripped me off! I went in for a battery service and replacement while on vacation in August 2018. At the time, I was favorable impressed. Now, on September 26, 2018, the battery is dead already! Our local AAA battery service tech said the battery was a few years old and the wrong model! Beware out-of-state visitors!!

If you do have a problem after the work is done he will gladly fix for free. The another plus is the BQ joint across the street kill two birds with one stone. i took my car in for an oil change and not even a month later my car was out of oil and I was stranded on the side of the road! my oil filter housing was made of plastic ( not metal) and was cracked due to the oil filter being tightened to tight! I had it fixed and hour away where I live and when I called the shop to tell them about the damage they did not want to be responsible and pay the 400 dollars it cost to repair!

I went in for an inspection and further work on my vehicle. What I got was an inspection and nothing else. I did not get the impression that my problems were being taken very seriously and as a result, nothing was done. Instead, I ended up taking my vehicle somewhere else and was told the job was hard but doable. I’m a paying customer, and I’ll go anywhere that actually takes the time to do the hard jobs and do them right. So if you’re like me and don’t have the time to waste with someone who doesn’t take your concerns seriously, then find somewhere else.

Upon a recommendation from a co-worker at NLB RV Resort, I went to Pungo Auto to have my timing belt, serpentine belt and an oil change for our Honda Odyssey. I couldn't have found a better place to have the work done. Completed ahead of time, fair price and satisfied with the repair. I told my wife that when I die, if she is still living in the Virginia Beach area to take our vehicle to Patti at Pungo Auto when it needs service. Thanks folks.

Awesome customer service! My alternator went out at the gas station next door at 1:30 pm and by 5:00, he had it ready to go. Had to get an alternator from 45 minutes away. He even stayed open a bit late so I could come pick it up. We were camping about 20 minutes away and 2.5 hours from home luckily we ended up here! I would recommend them to anyone.

Helpful, reasonably priced and have often gone that extra mile to take car of my cars. They're also prompt with inspections... can't recommend them highly enough.

I would highly recommend Pungo Service Center. My family has been taking our cars to them for over 30 years, and we've never been disappointed. Their knowledge of how to troubleshoot every make and model, of every car, truck, and trailer, is daunting if you think about it. I can't count the number of favors they've given me and jams they've gotten me out of over the years. I will continue to use their services for as long as they're in business. Pungo locals, I'm sure, would agree that we're lucky to have them! Keep up the good work!

Excellent Service! I've been using this repair shop for three years, since I moved to the area. Two years ago, I had a problem that they worked on but couldn't correct. So they didn't charge me for their time. They were honest and up front about what it could be. And they recommended another mechanic with better experience with that particular system. (it was an Airbag error, dealing with one of many sensors and relays) They've been my service center ever since. I have my truck being inspected and getting an oil change as I write this review.
