I have been coming here for 17 years and there is no other shop I trust. I only trust Lee and as a female, this is extremely important when it comes to working on your car. I know that if Lee says I need something done to my car that he is not going to add all kinds of extras onto the price. I highly recommend this location especially for women. You will not be taken advantage of here

In the past I always felt very intimidated when I needed my car inspected or worked on because I am not very knowledgeable about anything that has to do with cars. However after coming here I have been very happy the past 5 years. Very kind and honest people and they do a good job explaining what needs to be done to someone who knows nothing about cars. Great services and excellent customer service Got 2 vehicles inspected today and it was the fastest service I've ever had. The inspector was very knowledgeable about what he was doing and even gave additional suggestions. His services exceeded our expectations. My husband and I will definitely be returning. Total vehicle overhaul needed and Autoworks helped us work with our warranty company and repaired our severely damaged engine and all side effects. They communicated with us throughout the process, they took care of us so well, and over the years they have become our trusted reliable repair and general maintenance go-to. Brought my classic Chevy Blazer here to get a tune up. Upon driving it home, the engine was misfiring and after a side of the road diagnosis - I noticed that a new spark plug was not turned into the port tight. Subsequently, I then found a rag that a mechanic left in the bay which had gotten sucked into the radiator fan. Upon my mentioning both of these issues to the owner of the shop, he told me that this was strange because "it ran fine when I took it to the bank earlier this morning." Attention to detail with a rebuilt classic is pretty important and I'm grateful that I narrowly dodged the amount of damage that could have been done while the owner was joy riding my truck around town with a with a misfiring engine and a rag sucked into the radiator. I will no longer be doing business here. As you can see below, instead of making any effort to reconcile the issue, the owner decided to lean into the classic " we have no record of you being here" defense. I spent thousands of dollars at your location - you guys replaced my distributor, spark plugs, oil filter, and put a set of new tires on the Blazer. Maybe your record keeping indicates a lack of attention to detail like the work that was done to my vehicle. A little accountability would have gone a long way here, but I'm glad you decided to show your true colors for all to see

I had the A/C system on my Honda CR-V replaced here as well as a state inspection on my travel trailer. The gentlemen at the counter along with the maintenance pros were very nice and helpful explaining and showing the service they completed. Ripped off my elderly parents! they wanted to take my used truck I just bought to this mechanic to get looked at. The owner told my parents that the power steering had a leak and "the truck could get locked up and I could be thrown off the HRT bridge." Scarred my poor 80y/o mother so bad that she agreed to pay the $2,000 bill for a NEW pump. It's been less than a year, and the power steering has gone bad, despite not having previously felt any issues. There is a special place in hell for business owners like YOU. Do NOT take your vehicle there for any work!

Rpm issue these folks said need few days with car, left there grabbed uber. Days later called back did they could said, aftermarket parts installers causing issue. Scheduled went there did diligence report that took back, now try again couldn't do to begin now blame others proudly assert "not do bad job". At least not like previous shop let me drive down road no fluid. Didn't held accountable "forget mustard and ketchup on burger" paperwork. Whatever fine print legal mumbo jumbo protect provider while punish consumer employing their commerce elected deserve. Look forward without car schedule more time $20+ bucks trip any place go yet again.

I've been coming here since 2013. My vintage van needed a fuel filter which was located in the gas tank. No easy task and it was all done in the same day! It was a reasonable cost and fair priced. I've not had a problem since. Last fall again years later with my 36 year old van had a running/starting problem. This time an ignition switch. Within 1.5 hours after taking apart the steering column a new one was replaced and running. All the while waiting for work to be completed I found the nicest customer waiting area ever. It included comfortable Leather/Vinyl (?) cushioned chairs, usb charging ports and plug in receptacles 3 of them located in strategically placed end tables! There's coffee available with all the fixings, cups, stirrers, sugar and cream. I recently had my vehicle towed in with a problem of crank, no start. For almost 3 months no one could figure out what the problem was. Lee the owner tried to figure it out and finally said this is an electrical problem and this is something beyond what we do. Even though they spent time trying to figure it out I was not charged. This was understandably not their forte. None the less they were willing and tried to see what they could do. For which I am grateful. So its Thanksgiving week. All the while my disabled van was parked here at Autoworks. Lee was kind enough to allow my friend who's an electronics tech take a look at my van. Rich took several days tracking down and finally repaired the brittle wiring and found the short that created the problem. This was a tedious task. I could not be more grateful to Lee and staff for the kindness they have showed me in allowing me such privilege as I got my 1988 Dodge Caravan repaired. I will not be going to anybody else but Autoworks for my van when it comes to repairs. Their honesty, kindness and professionalism has won me over for good. They are reasonable and fair priced, and their work is the best you can find. At Autoworks, a small businesses truly live up to the hype of the dealers and are head high above all of them.

I had a great experience at Autoworks Automotive Repair. I have been to bunch of Autoshops for inspections and repairs since I moved to the area 4yrs ago. I have never really trusted or liked anyone. I had a check engine light on my car for a few months now and other auto shops ended up giving me $$ quotes to do a smoke test because the scanner read a ‘small leak’ but it these guys found the exact issue which isn’t related to the leak but the software parameters! So it needs a software update from the dealer and not $$ of smoke test. I am impressed with the service. And the people were nice! They have earned mine and my partner’s business for future auto needs!

Awesome place! Because of the good reviews I read about Autoworks, I brought my car in for repair. My blue trouble maker 💙 vehicle decided to communicate to the mechanic its many issues. Fortunately, David and team are upfront and described to me that there are many issues, although not all need to be repaired as not every issue is causing the main problem. Fixing everything would also create a 5 million dollar price tag. They obviously understand that clients will not return if price- gouged! They care about transparency. Thank you so much to David and the others at Autoworks. Much appreciated!

Finally found a shop I can trust! I've lived in Virginia for almost 2 years after coming from a small town in upstate NY. Where I used to live there were small shops all over not trying to pull anything over on me or sell a company gimmick. I liked those shops because I trusted what they told me. I've found in Virginia that there are many different big auto repair shops to choose from and I have had issues with all of them. I was recommended to this shop by a co-worker who has been using them for years. I was a little skeptical at first because the decor kind of look liked what every Nascar fan pictured when they went to heaven. 🤣. But this is a great shop. I was told by another shop that my car needed almost a thousand dollars worth of work to pass my inspection. I brought my car here and they not only told me all I needed was a lightbulb for my license plate but they took the time to explain to me all the other problems that I could have eventually (wear and tear with breaks and tires and such). I felt like for once I was being told the truth and I appreciated being talked to like a person and not like a moneybag. They are also very quick with doing inspections. I will go back to them with all of my issues and recommend them to all of my friends.

They went the extra mile for my 2015 Kia Forte while I was in the middle of leaving the state for school. I had just returned from a deployment to find out rodents took residence under the engine during the winter months. Towed my car to this location with high hopes and they did a phenomenal job with repairs! Two chewed up engine harness replacements and a fine comb tooth inspection to get my vehicle fully operational. Worked with my insurance company for claims flawlessly. They kept me fully aware of all the steps they took which assured me I had made the right choice. I highly recommend to anyone to take your vehicle here or give them the chance about your issue and call!
