Alan, Sean, and the tech team A&P are absolutely incredible. Honest, trustworthy, and committed to service, they're the only shop I trust with my Audi A6. They pay attention to detail, they won't BS you around, and they definitely have your best interests in mind. Took my car in to get the starter replaced recently and they saw the part was still under warranty from a job they did the year prior, so they made sure to take care of me on parts AND labor! Phenomenal customer service, I appreciate these guys so much.

We’re so grateful we found Alan and Sean at A & P Specialties. After repairing a major front-end issue on our Porsche, they didn’t just call it done — they took the time to road test it and make sure everything was truly right. They were thorough, patient, and never once made us feel pressured or nickel and dimed. We were in the market for a Porsche mechanic who was knowledgeable and truly thorough, and we were hesitant to move forward with a major repair just anywhere. From the start, Alan and Sean made us feel comfortable and confident in their shops work. They’re skilled, honest, and made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming. I highly recommend A & P. All of my interactions with them were polite and professional and I'm very happy with the service they provided on my car. I enjoy working on my cars and have a penchant for older German vehicles. I recently acquired a 944 and needed some help with a diagnostic. While I enjoy working on my cars, there are some tasks I leave to professionals and when I get stuck with a diagnosis I prefer to have it looked versus just throwing parts at the issue. The trick can be finding a trustworthy shop that also knows these vintage vehicles well enough for efficient diagnoses and repair. The folks at A & P meet the criteria. I took my car for some help diagnosing an oil pressure issue. Turns out that there really wasn't an issue with the oil pressure, but they also performed a thorough inspection. During that inspection they found few issues, including a whining sound that they requested more time to diagnose. Turned out to be a bad tensioner pulley for the timing belt. They were able to replace it and also fix an issue where the balance shafts were slightly off time. (This is the value for me of having someone that knows the cars well take a look.) What really set this shop apart for me was the manner that they document and explain all of their findings. They took photos and time to explain each finding. They also were very open to the fact that most of the items they found I wanted to address myself. They did not try to push their services and happily provided advice and answered my questions.
