This shop encouraged me to bring my truck in asap when I told them my issues over the phone, they worked with another AAMCO shop to get some repairs paid for under warranty from previous work, and they got it done pretty quickly, only a week, on short notice. They worked with the military discount they provided me to get me better parts for the same price which goes a lot further than saving a bit of money. The work they did was replacing some U-joints and front suspension ball joints. They even replaced my brake pads as free labor since it overlapped with the components they had to remove. Additional warranties were given for the services provided, overall very happy with the service and speed of it.

I love AAMCO, they are really the only people I trust with my vehicle. They are very friendly and do really great work. They work with and even show you, if they can, what is wrong. They don’t just rip you off. I highly recommend them! Mr. Matt and Mr. Web are awesome!!

I was pointed in the direction of Aamco from Pep Boys since they do not do transmission work. I called and spoke with Lori who is great by the way and made an appt for the following week. I was going to drop it off the night before but their drop off is not ideal for me, which is why it's not 5 stars. I dropped it off in the morning and Lori advised me of the plan and Webb took great care of my car and had it running like new. I'll definitely be back if I need more work done.

Took my 2013 ford explorer in with some slipping and vibrating issues hoping that it just needed a transmission flush and fill, they were very kind to me over the phone when I called and the estimate was very reasonable. I made an appointment and brought her in, they were again very kind and personable, they ran some diagnostics and called me to tell me that a transmission flush would not fix my problem and let me know what the problem was and what it would take to fix it. They told me that since they couldn't help me they wouldn't charge me and I could come pick her up. I had a 10 out of 10 experience with them and would recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and affordable transmission shop in killeen area

Ms. Lori (receptionist) was patient and knowledgeable over the phone and although they were about to close, she had me come in so the guys can take a quick look at it. Well that quick look turned into the team staying later than closing time and really helping me out from a bad long drive back home with a toddler none the less. All 3 gentlemen and Ms. Lori were patient, communicative and transparent from the beginning which is needed in this line of work. They could all see I was having a crap day and very flustered, seriously I was on the verge of tears until I walked I to their shop. Not only was their professionalism a great save but their comedic disposition was a needed relief. I am very appreciative and thankful for being pointed to their direction. I would highly recommend and the best part is not once did either employee try to rip me off with a crap quick fix or sell.me something I honestly did not need. Thank you Ms. Lori and team again.

Even if i am not using yalls service for my jeep. Webb the technician and Lori the office manager are above par compared to anywhere else I’ve ever been. They was professional, quick to offer any help with services and attention to detail like no other shop!!!! On top of that they are well adverse in diesel transmissions and transfer cases. My transmission went in my 23 year old self converted camper van when I was traveling through Texas. Everyone I know said I should just get a different one & start over, but this thing means the world to me. I also figured that if I got a different van, the same thing could happen in that one. But if I have it rebuilt, it'll be much more dependable & will hopefully last for much longer than another used, old van. Once I decided for sure that I wanted to have it rebuilt, there was no question where I was gonna take it. AAMCO is a trusted shop, especially when it comes to transmissions. There are shops with longer warranties & shops where you'll spend less on having it done. But AAMCO has shops all over the country. If you just plan on driving your vehicle around the block, a local shop might work. But if you're like me & you like to go where the wind blows, you're gonna want these professionals close by no matter where you may be. The entire process took a few weeks, but it was well worth the wait. They found a couple other little things that were wrong & barely charged me to fix them. I got to pick it up on Friday & made the trip back to Florida where I live. This baby ran better than I've ever seen her run. Smooth shifts, no more leaks of any kind, runs quiet now that the exhaust leak is mostly fixed. To say I'm happy with the result would be a huge understatement. They did an awesome job & the woman I talked to about progress, Laurie, is super professional, knowledgeable, & friendly. Anyway, I appreciate y'all at the Killeen AAMCO. You're awesome!

I dropped my car off with no appointment and I was concerned they would have it for days since I didn't have appointment but by 12 ish they were done. I took it in for something but they advise me to take it to the dealer after they inspected to check for the problem. I proceed to ask for the amount (which I thought was like anywhere between $50-$200) and she said “u are all good, don’t worry about it”… They are definitely NOT money hungry. I had taking my previous car there and also had a good experience. Thanks for taking the time and also printing stuff for me to read as well so I can take it to the dealer.. Thank you again. Lori was AMAZING! The integrity and honesty of this team are UNMATCHED. I came in for a second opinion after another shop told me I needed a $4K transmission. Lori and Webb suggested a simple reprogram/relearn first. The dealership tried that, said it didn’t help, and quoted me $11K. When I brought it back, Webb actually took the time to drive my car properly through the relearn process… and FIXED IT. No new transmission needed. Just a CV axle replacement. My final bill? $800. Not $4K. Not $11K. This team is thorough, patient, and trustworthy. Lori and Webb saved me thousands and earned my business for life. HIGHLY recommend!

I’ve had good service before with this place. I thought I could trust they would do a good job this time. I found out the “lowest price” they could find for a battery on my 2019 Jeep would cost about $300. Which I thought it sounded a little bit high. I was told that was the lowest price that could be found anywhere for my car. I was in a hurry to get the job done and get my car back so I agreed. Needless to say that was about $25-$120 more than the lowest priced battery for my car most anywhere. That was not the only overcharge I had. I found out most places that install these batteries can do it in about 20-30 minutes for my type of car. It took them 1 and a half hour to install. So that was about $100 more for labor. It would not have been so bad until my son just told me most auto stores install them for free or a much lower price. So I’m out about an extra $100-200. That may not be much to some, but I am on a limited low income budget. So, that really did add up to more than I needed to live without major needs this month. I will know to not trust this place to be honest and truthful with me ever again!

Brought in my cadillac cts for a transmission issue with the TFT sensor which is integrated into an internal harness. Their team had this thing figured out, parts ordered, and work completed way sooner than i expected. Their customer service was top notch and super easy to work with. Their prices are competitive and their work is second to none. Definitely would recommend.
