This is a hard one. Although my experience with them was good(I traded in my TLX for the ZDX). I was told many times that I would get the $7500 ev tax credit. It was even displayed on their banners for the promotion they were running. Long story short: The vehicle does not qualify for the ev tax credit. When you do a lease. That part was not explained to me. I take full responsibility for not doing proper research before purchasing vehicle. However, the salesman and its managers should be more upfront and disclose proper information on matters like this. Be more transparent.

Deformed sunroof drain tubes that caused internal water damage should be repaired by Acura as a defective, but Acura doesn’t stand behind their product and left me to sort it out and pay for the repairs myself. How is Acura not responsible?!!

I have mixed feelings about my experience at Acura of Seattle. On one hand, our salesman, Preston, was competent, communicative, and easy to work with. However, the post-purchase reality of our 2020 Subaru WRX has been a series of expensive "surprises" that total over $1,800 in avoidable costs. If you are buying used here, please check for these three things we missed: Keys: We were only provided a valet key, which prevented us from even locking the car. Even though “remote keyless entry” was on the window sticker on the lot, no such key was provided and no compensation as a result. It took two extra trips and $800 to get functional keys programmed. The "Detail": The car smelled fine on the lot, but 24 hours later, a heavy smoke odor surfaced. Acura claimed the car was detailed, but we had to spend $600 on a professional deep-clean to make the interior tolerable. Wheel Locks: When it came time for new tires, we discovered the wheel lock key was missing. This resulted in yet another dealership visit and a $400 bill. We love the car itself, but the "hassle factor" here was significant. It felt like the dealership intentionally avoided addressing basic prep items, leaving the buyer to foot the bill. 3/5 stars—ask for everything in writing before you sign.
