In my opinion, University Volkswagen is the best Volkswagen service center in the greater Seattle area. I travel very far just to have my car serviced there.

I am so happy I had my VW sent to University Volkswagen. The staff there are extremely friendly and helpful. They took great care of me on short notice and delivered my car back to me clean and repaired by the next morning. Thank you University VW

After going to University Volkswagen Service Center over the past two years for issues with my old Volkswagen, both Pedro and Summer in particular have gone above and beyond standard customer service expectations every time :)

I had an issue with my bicycle while riding to work and stopped in here on a whim because they were one of the only places open on Roosevelt who might have an allen wrench. They were incredibly nice considering it had nothing to do with cars or VW's. Very grateful for the kindness!!

University VW Service is superb, top shelf, and has excellent customer service. I've been getting my car serviced there for 9-years and no other dealer (including other VW vehicle service) can raise to the mark of University. They still treat all their customer's like they are number one instead of by how much your car is worth like most dealerships today. Need a light bulb change? Not a problem at U-VW. Just buy the bulb at parts and they will install at no charge. It's time to experience the best!

Had a great visit to University Volkswagen service department last week. Needed brake service and to check on another issue. They took great care of my vehicle. We had one small misunderstanding and the assistant service manager made it right. I really appreciate their response and commitment to customer service. I will definitely be bac

This was my first time here and it was a good experience. Kyle was efficient and effective. I got my appointment date wrong, but after hanging around for an hour or so, they found a slot for my car to be worked. While my car was being worked on, I was able to get some work done.

I came to University Volkswagen Service many times in the past and all I had were great service and friendly staff. However I didn’t feel about it anymore today when I called the Service Center earlier. I called Service Center at 8:10AM to request production code for the vehicle battery of my Tiguan which I purchased directly from UV. The lady who picked up my call was impatient and unfriendly at all because she has no idea what PR code is. She didn’t help me at all, not even try to help me at all or ask her coworker, what she did was to say she didn’t understand me. I was nice and repeated what I understood from her, she literally hung up on me! How rude! Then I called again at 8:12AM, another nice and friendly staff took the call (I didn’t catch her name). She was really helpful and provided all the guidance to me, as well as transferred my call to Part Department which another nice staff, Sean, was able to provide me the PR code directly. I have the mixed feeling today. How could the first lady, who picked up my call at 8:10AM, being so rude, not helpful to the customer??? Where was her professionalism? UV stated that all the calls have been recorded for training purpose and please investigate on this behavior. This is not acceptable at all.

Worst experience I've had getting my oil changed at a dealership. For reference, a Honda dealership caused a small fire under a previous car by leaving a shop rag on the exhaust. I came in for a 3y/30k service appointment. They told me it would be $650, and somewhat shocked, I signed anyways and handed them the keys. I took a seat and began looking on forums, finding that it should have been, at the high end, around $350. So, I stood back up, and said I'd changed my mind and would like my keys. In response, they offered to remove the optional $300 carbon buildup cleaning. The what?! This was the first time this had been mentioned. The paper I signed probably listed it, so I can accept a small amount of blame in that regard. However, when describing what would be done, they absolutely did not verbally bring this up or confirm I wanted it. This is extremely predatory, in my opinion -- adding an optional service, that **doubled the price** of the service I requested, without mentioning it. To add insult to injury, I'm pretty sure they scratched my rear bumper during the car wash. Here again, I'll accept a small amount of blame for not explicitly requesting to skip it. However, they didn't ask if I wanted it, which I'm accustomed to, and universally decline. They were manually washing the backs of cars with a brush, and I suspect that's where it happened. This is only a single anecdote, and I'm sure others have had perfectly good experiences. But personally, I won't be returning.

I bought my car here and went here for battery replacement...lucky for me it didn't take that long for same day service. Friendly associates...you also receive video diagnosis of your car while you are waiting. That's cool feature, right? Thank you.

Recently had a service and repair here. Things I like: (1) they provide loaner cars (2) they give you Lyft rides for free if they don’t have loaner car (3) they take videos and explain to you clearly what is wrong with the car (4) services people are friendly

Salvator, University VW Service Manager: The recent service on our 2016 VW Beetle was larceny. Previously, we held University VW in highest regard and were happy that what was considered one of the best dealers in the area was nearby to our student, Zola. We needed tires and the dealership premium cost was manageable. However, we had earlier diagnosed the EPC CEL code, did some research, and expected a reasonable sensor replacement. The 03G-906-051-M Sensor is available as a Bosch product for ~$23. (FCP) University VW charged us $255. The one bolt and connector clip labor install cost of $499 that we were charged was beyond robbery. Your previously outstanding Service Department is clearly ethically compromised.

I’ve always had very good service and help from this business. Their service team is very dedicated and helpful. I’ve worked with Austin and Summer several times for service appointments, and really appreciate their help. The service location is a quick turn can be a little tricky to find first time you arrive there, but it’s very conveniently located on Roosevelt. Waiting area has WiFi, snacks, and beverages.
