True to their reputation Tom’s Automotive took really great care of me and my 2003 Chevy Astro Van. I had multiple problems of different kinds including a complex electrical one. Casey was very attentive and listened to my issues and concerns. He called and communicated with me as the work continued to be sure I didn’t have any surprises. I can’t thank the team at Tom’s enough, especially Casey! I was dealing with some personal stuff and they were so understanding and accommodating while my truck was in the shop during that time. I was also impressed when a hail storm was forecasted last week and they had limited covered space so they reached out to see if I had covered parking at home if I wanted to move my truck out of their yard, they were calling everyone to get as many vehicles protected from the storm as possible, and said they’d use cardboard or whatever they had on hand to make an attempt at protecting what couldn’t be moved in time. Truly stand-up folks, with fair pricing to boot. Thank you again for everything, you earned a customer for life.

Excellent communication and customer service. However, there are few rooms for improvement in terms of verifying some car defects. My concern was that I had a squealing sound when brakes are used however they weren’t able to verify this upon inspection which surprised me because others who have drove my car also noticed and heard. After replacing a few things and getting my car back, the noise significantly reduced and has improved in certain level but there are still noises that are coming out sometimes. Overall it’s an okay-to-descent experience but not perfect.

They can articulate and provide a detailed explanation of your vehicle's issues. I wish that I always used this mechanic. Although I didn't have an appointment, I dropped by and John was able to repair the battery-related problem while I waited. I'm extremely grateful for the extra effort made by Tom's Team. Have been there once…rolled the dice based on location and limited research showing positive reviews…plus a tow guy who said he knew they were good. They diagnosed the issue correctly, discovered some other minor issues, communicated clearly and effectively, great exceed timing expectations on getting to and completing the work. I had heard from a couple people that they might be too expensive, but based on my research also charged a very fair rate for what was done (a new drive train assembly). I will definitely use them again and would certainly recommend them. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tom’s Automotive Service must be running some kind of elite diagnostic academy, because apparently just looking at your car costs $940. I brought my truck in to check the power steering, a burning oil smell, and the check engine light, Witch they estimated would be at $359. There haven’t been any performance issues at all since the light came on it drives completely fine. I drop it off, and the next day I get a call saying I already owe $940… just for diagnostics. Nothing repaired. Nothing serviced. Just inspected. They promote themselves as friendly and customer-focused, but that wasn’t the what got. John was pretty sarcastic and didn’t seem to appreciate any questions about the charges. Cassy, though, was much more professional and way easier to deal with. The best part? They didn’t even end up checking the power steering because “everything seemed fine,” but somehow I was still charged for other things instead. So if you’re looking for a place that can look at your vehicle, not fix it, and hand you a hefty bill for the experience this might be your spot!
