Paid this guy $1100 to change motor mounts on my Toyota. It's been making a rattle noise so I took it to a new shop. All three motor mounts in my car were factory. He didn't change any of them. Total scam.

It is a rarity these days to see a shop that has a foundation of honesty, great customer service, and artisan level expertise. I stopped in for a pre-purchase check and, the technician got to the truck right away. This great shop likely saved me hundreds/thousands on repairs on a vehicle that was likely touched up by the dealership to get it off the lot. I can say in good faith that this is a great shop. The owner of the auto shop is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and works with you to help you get back on the road. I have been going to him for years with various cars. As a master mechanic, he will tell you when your vehicle does not need servicing, so you aren't taken advantage of. Oh, and his rates are reasonable! - "A loyal client." -

I'm very grateful to have found Alba's auto. I don't know what the negative reviews are about, but I've never had a bad experience with them. They're not the fastest and don't claim to be, but their work is solid. They're also super nice and have always treated me very well in the year and a half or so that I've been going to them. A while back, I thought I needed new shocks and struts on my car. Everywhere I went, they quoted my over a thousand dollars for the job, I took it to Alba's and their quote was just of $700. So, I left my car. I got a call later on that day saying that they thoroughly looked it over, had it up in the air, and had two guys looking at it. They said my shocks were fine and I just needed the sway bar links replaced...a $150 job. My car runs smoother than it has in a long time. I was just in today with another problem, because my car is old and falling apart, and I had an electrical problem along with a shifting problem. The shifting problem turned out to be an issue with a safety feature which he told me is about a $400 fix, but offered to just disable it for $40. The electrical problem turned out to be an easy fix as well and they only charged me the $40 for my visit today. These are very good and honest people who know what they're doing. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good mechanic who does just about everything.

I recently had some work done at Alba's Auto Repair, Janice and Ricardo went ABOVE & BEYOND to help me! Extraordinarily nice people! They really helped me with my car. They have fantastic deals if you need to get your oil changed too. I would recommend them to anyone including family members. They are family owned and operated not just a big giant shop or chain where you are a number. Their service Is unbelievable. It's nice to have someone I trust 100% to do work on my car! I live in Grand Junction and was in the market for a 4Runner. There's not much over here, so when I found one to have checked out, I went to Facebook to ask for any repair shops in the Denver area ro look at it. A friend recommended Alba's Auto and my experience was excellent! Janice was able to schedule me in the next day and gave me an honest rundown of what they found in the inspection. Even the friend who brought the 4Runner down told me that he was going to use them next time! Great experience and I now have a shop in Denver I know I can trust!

This shop is a good shop. The main mechanic there was very honest and patient with me and my car. And he offered to help me anytime since I decided to do the work myself. But I do work on multiple cars and have several friends who are mechanics. This shop claims labor hours and parts are more time and money then they actually are. I definitely have went to places more fair. I was quoted 1200 for set of brakes and intake manifold gasket then shortly after my intake manifold plenum was damaged they tried to quote me $500+ more. It sits at the top of the engine very easily accessible plus that part does not cost that much so why? It took about 30 mins to change myself. Also was quoted for struts which was another $1000+ I'm not out to badmouth the shop they seem like nice people but there are not that honest and fair in my opinion there is definitely better prices for the same type of work. I will not be going back there.

Been coming here for years. Came in today with an $1,100 repair that another shop had recommended and got a call from them asking about why I had requested the repair. They let me know that part of the car was working fine, but found another smaller issue that I knew to be true (but didn't realize was an issue, part of my bungling trying to work on my own vehicles) that they fixed. The result was less income for their shop but a continued loyal customer. Irma's review below sounds like nonsense - an unexpected issue came up and they called you to let you know? Sounds like not their fault and a pretty professional approach to me.

Getting a car fixed - what a great experience with owners Ricardo & Janice. Alba's was referred to me, and I'm so grateful! With a 2019 Hyundai, I've gone to dealers only...never again - they are a nightmare!. Ricardo diagnosed & fixed my problem, they took me in without an appointment because I was fearful of an unknown issue, and a long drive to the airport pending. Voila, diagnosed, fixed, and cheerfully returned. And they were so generous 😇. Highly recommend, will always go back, and be sure you call to make appointment, because they are busy!
