Had to replace the water pump and oil separator on a 2016 Audi A6. They did an amazing job for half the price of other quotes I got. William is very helpful and friendly. There was a little hiccup but they took care of it very quickly. If you have a German or import car you can trust this shop. Will definitely take my car here in the future for any repairs or maintenance.

Definitely get your car fixed here. I think this may have been the first time I haven’t felt taken advantage of getting my car repaired. Extremely fair prices, clear risk definitions and well beyond the call of duty. William was extremely helpful and earned a lifetime customer this week. Update: I haven’t even thought about taking my cars anywhere else in the last 3 years. I’d put money on this being the best, friendliest repair shop in the Twin Cities.

I was having an issue with a TPMS error on my Audi Q5, and they were able to sneak me in for a diagnostic same day. Within 15 minutes they had the issue diagnosed and it just needed resetting so they cleared the code and test drove to confirm. I was shocked when they wouldn’t accept a dime from me, for would have probably cost hundreds at the dealership. Talk about top quality service, and great integrity. They have earned a lifetime customer from me, and anyone else I hear needs import repairs in the metro.

Just got my Passat fixed here. Amazing service and quality. William handled all the paperwork and kept me apprised of what was going on while my car was in the shop. His initial estimate exactly matched what I paid once the job was done. It was also less than half (!) what three other shops quoted me for a pretty major repair. I'll be bringing my car here for as long as I live in Minneapolis. Couldn't recommend enough.

Excellent customer care and very fair pricing. I got my appointment date mixed up and arrived a week early - they were very kind about it and still found the time to do the work, which I very much appreciated. They followed up a week later with a text to make sure I was happy with the work (which I was). I would not hesitate to recommend this shop. I should also mention that you don't need to be driving a fancy import to use their services (though this seems like a great place to take your pride and joy).

We love Alexander’s. We trust them to be honest about what our car does or doesn’t need. They can offer loaners when we need them, and repairs are done as agreed at a fair price. They are great! We've been going to them for years now, and just recently they really came through for us when we needed some emergency repairs, finding ways to squeeze us in, and were so kind about it. We really appreciate their service! Added 4/24 We had a major repair and they found more than any of us knew about that needed upgrades, but still came in with $50 of their estimate. We are so glad to work with them!

Tried 3 different ways of contact. Originally I had this as a 5 star review, punctual, honest, great work. Pulling car from storage , I noticed out of the $2,000 bill I paid, over half wasn’t ever done properly. Mounts installed that never had the nut put on, was informed clutch at end of life. Thought that’s why reverse was so clunky going into reverse. However, after installing all new mounts , they never put the nuts on the lower motor mount. Has caused that main bracket on motor to shear off, and has almost crushed oil pan. Potentially looking at having to resend to new shop to correct the problem with not even 3k miles on this repair. 2 emails unanswered and calling rang to voicemail. Maybe I’d give original 5 star review back, but this type of work is unacceptable.

I have been going here for a few years, and I trust them to always give me detailed and reliable information about what work needs to be done. I have had only positive experiences here, and have recommended them to several others. I've taken my 2014 Subaru here several times this year on the recommendation of some people on a Subaru owners' forum. That was a good call. All of my car's problems were familiar their mechanics. I liked that they don't exaggerate problems. Some they said should be fixed sooner than later but others they said could wait indefinitely. Costs were reasonable in my experience. My most recent repair was a leaking oil pressure sender for $90.
