My daughter had a flat tire with and a bent rim with no spare tire. We drove around for an hour trying to find any establishment that was open on a Sunday Evening. Auto Man just happen to be pulling up from a weekend trip. Even though he was closed for business he pumped her tire and determined where the damage was. A plus service he is the best Thanks!

Auto Man has been a life saver for my family and I. We had my car towed there, because we were told by another well known auto repair mechanic that it needed a timing chain, which is hundreds of dollars more to repair than what was needed. Auto Man saved us money and time!!! I can’t thank them enough for truly caring about their customers and their pockets!!! Christy is very friendly and straightforward. She’s awesome! Allan & Christy are genuinely nice people running an outstanding shop. We've taken several cars there for various issues and have never gotten less than excellent service, finished quickly and at super reasonable prices. Sometimes you worry about being overcharged for car repairs. Not here - these folks are straight up honest. They've gone above and beyond for us several times. Alan will explain as much as you want to know, and he knows everything about cars. He takes pride in his very important work and it shows. His employees seem to have the same pride. If you need a car repaired, stop reading now and call Automan. You won't find a better shop. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My Car went in for a clutch. Then I was told alot til it was a whole transmission. Then they forgot to install a guard back properly and my seat was broke, put Me on the street with a dead battery, left Me at auto zone stranded, they had my car from October to the end of November. Then they had to get it back. Starter got wet from rain because guard wasn't install back, the mechanic put back half of it cause it broke. Told Me i was responsible for it. Now it been over another month. How Long does it take for parts to come in? Then they Rude. Hang the phone up in your face and don't return calls. That lady Christy and bobby the mechanics is real rude. Adding to this. Today is Tuesday jan14th still haven heard from them. I left a message for Allan almost 2weeks ago. I just don't know why they holding my car. Been since December. Can I have my Car please. February 19th. This places is a joke all those pictures is lies that they posted as my car. Never was given permission to fix things they showing. Sad

Allan, Devon, and the rest of the crew (Letty the service dog!) are BRILLIANT. I was on a crosscountry pet route with 8 dogs and a dozen dog wheelchairs that I need to deliver to rescues in Canada, when my minivan began violently shaking. Auto Man Automotive saw me within 10 minutes of my phone call, uncovered the mystery of what has been plaguing the vehicle (which had eluded everyone else for thousands of miles), and both the problem and repair were thoroughly explained, in-depth—everything down to the part numbers. While there, I actually had that sense of awe that comes from *being in the presence of greatness*. Birmingham is so lucky to have this shop operating. Give them ALL of your business!!

this auto repair shop is a joke, so unprofessional. i ride by to check on my car and my window is broken, when my car is supposed to be inside being worked on 😡😡😡 i immediately tried calling and got no answer! when i finally did get in touch THE NEXT DAY they acted like it was my fault. do not bring your car here! i wish i could leave 0 stars.

I brought my vehicle to them and they were extremely unprofessional. I was told my car would be fixed within 2 days and they had it over a week and it still wasn’t completely fixed when I picked it up. Once I got the car back it was acting worse than it was when I brought it in. Not to mention their communication was awful. I constantly was having to call them for updates because they never once called to update me even after having the car longer than the quoted time. And more than half the times that I called no one would even answer. Would have been nice if someone would have called to say “I know we quoted this time, but here’s what’s going on and it’s going to take X amount of time to fix it.” Simple communication goes a long way.
