My daughter who is chronically ill and disabled took her car in to be made road ready for a multi state trip. First rip off. On that trip, in the middle of nowhere Wyoming it started overheating. We limped it back to Billings and she paid to have it "fixed". She has to go out of state for medical treatment often and every time she goes the same exact thing happens after they "fix" it. This time their "fix" left us stranded in West Yellowstone on the way to Utah, limping it to Idaho where mechanic shops were closed. After trying to get help or get it fixed for 6 hours, in the dark, in the cold with no tools we finally got it running, thanks to the help of others who stopped their day to help. These people have taken an ungodly amount of money from her or cost money in towing or gas for a rescue ride, caused an ungodly amount of stress for someone already dealing with more than a person should and wasted so much of our time (I'm usually the one with her or going to pick her up when stranded). So dishonest! We used to take our Mercedes there but after the last two times seeing her robbed, we have been taking ours elsewhere. That's $6,000 they didn't get from us so far and hopefully others read this and follow suit. Absolutely criminal!

Our car battery suddenly doesn’t work during our road trip and we just randomly find a store. Glad we stopped by. They are very professional and friendly, figured out the problem very quickly and installed the new battery in less than 10min. And their price is very economic. Highly recommend!

Took the wifes BMW in for diagnostic. Upon dropping it off they said they wouldn't charge to look at it. 8 days later no phone call had to call them and ask for a quote/ repair info. We declined the service. Upon picking up the car and being charged for the diagnostic, The vehicle now dies under acceleration. The only reason it went in there was to diagnose an oil leak.

Always take my car here to get oil changes. On the high end price wise, but always trusted them. Took it in to get an oil change and all new brakes done. Mine were beginning to grind and squeak. Told me it was done a few days later, drove it for a few days and noticed that the squeaking was even worse. Went back, left it with them for a day, told me that one of the rotors was defective. And that they fixed it. Clearly they didn't drive it or look at all the brakes. Because the same exact issue was occurring. As soon as I drove away my brakes were grinding. Took it back again. Told me that a set of rear brake pads was at 0%. Confusing because I already paid them to do my brakes. Went back to pick it up, charged me another $400, saying that they only replaced parts for the front of the car, when the worst was in the rear anyways and I asked them to replace all the brakes. Trusted these guys for years. Never going back.

Happy to have found this qualified Land Rover repair shop in Billings close to northern Wyoming. Friendly, knowledgeable service at fair prices. They only repair what is really needed or wanted. It gives me great joy to say great things about this shop!! I was in Billings for work. Actually just passing through. Not knowing anyone or any shop I was at the mercy of referring shops. Shops that were too busy to get me in before 3 weeks time. This family owned business. I called on Friday and she said she could get me in on Tuesday. Much better than 3 weeks. They could have told me that my problem was much worse and changed me for a new rear differential. Instead he just changed out the seal that went bad and put more fluid in and charged me a much smaller amount. I can’t tell you as a women out of state how terrible it is having to trust strangers. I hit my head on the rear view mirror crawling in the backseat to feed my 4 month old; hard enough to knock something loose internally. I was worried what it would cost to fix. I took my VW Beetle to these guys to have the water pump replaced and replace the radiator and some other stuff. When I picked it up I thought all was good to find out that they forgot to install the radiator. I find out several days later it wasn’t done. When I call to ask about it they said it wasn’t done it was just a mistake. But it wasn’t a mistake to charge me for it. I felt that JR’s (one of the owners of good reputation would never do such a thing). So I had to take it back down there to put the radiator in. So I have to ask myself why am I having to do this when it should have been done in the first place. SO BUYER BEWARE!

I should've done this review a while ago. Glad i found this shop. I usually do most of my own work on my vehicles, i'm not the best or most experienced mechanic in the world, but I am very picky and like things done right. For this reason and high labor costs i'm very reluctant to take my vehicles to any shop as i have always been able to figure things out on my own given enough time. Since moving to billings I have had a few vehicle projects going on and have found myself unable to productively diagnose and fix the issues at hand. So i decided to enlist a shop for help with my daily driven Blazer. I chose this shop because its locally owned and couldnt have been more relieved and satisfied with my experience. Ive never been a career mechanic, but i worked in the auto industry for nearly a decade before moving here and can say with confidence that these guys run an honest business with fair prices and quality work. After having my transmission swapped here (among other things), i dont only bring my vehicles to them In emergent situations, but also if i just dont feel like spending the time on it. I have confidence they will handle it properly and efficiently without nickel&diming me which gives me time to work on my other projects without worry. If your stressed about past experiences with other shops, i highly recommend you give these guys a call. 👌🏼👌🏼
