I bought a battery from AutoZone with a 3-year warranty, but it failed after just one month. When I came for help, the staff refused the warranty, said they DIDN'T CARE, and told me to remove the battery myself????? and go somewhere else, even after I showed the warranty paper. The manager behaved the same way—rude and disrespectful. I’m deeply disappointed and will never trust AutoZone again.

One of the supervisors on this autozone don't know what his doing.. I don't know his name but his a young kid with a long hair and american African.. because he keep asking me for a return receipt and im already showing him my order history online in my autozone account and still keep insisting I can't return the product because I don't have a paper receipt what a dumb guy... autozone need to train your supervisors to act professional and need more knowledge of what kind of job they have... this not a first incident with this guy.. Last time they gave me a wrong parts too.. im not coming back to this store.....

Sunnymead store, employee Parts Manager, Michael. I was given the wrong parts by the Parts Manager, Michael on 11/18/2025 and the following day spent hours attempting to get the part on. I missed a reservation and lost over $200, I had to add an additional day to where I currently am, and paid $125 to a mechanic that attempted to install part before comparing the two and realizing I had been given the wrong part. I returned to store and Michael was the member to help once again. I explained the situation and told him the packaging blew away for one. He responded he would only be returning one, I would have to buy the new one outright. I asked how can I be expected to incur all the charges I have that day when it was your fault, and now you say you wont return the wrong part you gave me. Michael responded, he had given me what I asked for. I pulled up my phone and showed him the part numbers are not anywhere near the correct parts numbers and he replied I must have given him the wrong information. He refused to accept any responsibility and reiterated if I returned the one it would be returned to the card I used so I would have to pay cash. I had no cash, it's the end of the month and I have to have the parts. I am not going to pay all these fees from your employee's error. It is not fair or right to expect this and I am disgusted with Michael's attitude and lack of attention to detail from a manager. I will be seeking reimbursement for my losses and suggest some in-service training for customer service and accountability.

I purchased items at the autozone from eucalyptus/ MORENO BEACH DRIVE...MORENO VALLEY, CA. I told the employee that imma put on the brakes and rotors and ill bring them back within the next 1.5 hours. The guy told me they would be closed since they closed at 9. HE THEN DIRECTED ME TO RETURN THE PRODUCTS AT THE AUTOZONE ON SUNNYMEAD AND PERRIS. HE TOLD ME THEY CLOSE AT 12AM AND THAT GETTING THE WARRENTY EXCHANGE WOULD BE SIMPLE ENOUGH. I THEN ASKED HIM IF HE WAS SURE BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO TRAVEL IF THERES GONNA BE SOME STUPID STORE PaRTICULER ISSUE. HE ASSURED ME THAT ALL WOULD BE WELL. I go home, install the stuff and then drive to autozone just like the gentleman said. As I open the door to enter the store with heavy items in hand, im immediately told that THEY CANT DO EXCHANGES WITH WARRENTYS. I THEN tOLD THIS GUY THAT THE OTHER AUTOZONE ASSURED ME THAT THERE WOULD BE NO ISSUES. THE GUY THEN STATED THAT HE WASNT ABLE TO DO THE EXCHANGE. I THEN ASKED HIM, " SO YOUR TELLING ME THAT THE OTHER GUY AT THE OTHER ZONE LIED TO MY FACE?" THE GUY SAID YES. ITS 11PM AT NIGHT AND MY tIME IS BEING WASTED BY AUTOZONE AND THEIR NONCOMMUNICABLE BS. THIS IS STRIKE 2 AUTOZONE. 2 MORE STRIKES AND ILL GLADELY START USING O'REILLY. YOuR sunnymead store closes at 12am. This means they conduct operations at 12. This includes purchases and etc.,. YET, I CANT GET MY WARRENTY REFUND. ITS BULLSH....

Our battery crapped the bed one of the clerks went above and beyond to make sure our warranty was honored and we were in and out in an hour. They let us borrow tools too. I wish I got the name of the clerk that helped us out. She deserves recognition!

Attention, do not trust what the internet says vs the store itself when looking up parts , the part numbers are real but often incorrect, after receiving the wrong part for the 3rd time and numerous trips and lots of frustration , this Hub store in Moreno Valley had to do some crafty researching to get the correct one thanks to the most helpful employee named Sal, this guy heard my run around experience that led me there, saw my frustration and sympathized with my irritation that he swapped me out the correct part with the incorrect one and there was a $30 difference. That was so helpful since I’ve spent a little more then that on gas alone but that kind of customer treatment was hands down what makes a customer a happy one. His attitude was nothing but helpful and understanding and did all he could and succeeded in helping me finally get this part for my truck , the customer service from him made the whole experience more then worth it for me. I highly recommend this place and Sal can be found in the commercial department and everyone at this desk beside him had the same ethics and customer service as well. Thanks again Sal you made my day a happy win for me!

I'm mad , i was racial profile from the moment I was waiting in line to be help by will , he asked what I needed, and I said I was sent by down the street store to do a warranty swap, so previous store called to do a parst check, they have 3 ,because they run out of parts I need it, so they send me over there because they have three to do my warranty swap. But at the moment I mentioned it was a warranty ,hi right away said I don't have any, and he took a look at the part I was doing warranty on, and said I now by looking at it that is nothing wrong with that.,is new , is shiny , he was looking at a brake caliper I was returning after I installed and did not work brake oil will not go in , so I have removed and take it back because it didn't work. It have some residue from oil, from removing it since I did install it, that's why it look shiny to him., so he , so keep continuing to say that he was not gonna swap it or honor their warranty. Because he did not have any parts at the store that he was out. So I mentioned to him again. The older store did a parts check, and they have three, and his coworker mentioned yeah, I answered the phone.I checked we have three, to what he continued, no , I'm not gonna honor the guarantee. I'm not gonna swap it or return your money. Take your part back. He acted like he owned a place and he can do whatever he wants and not held me at all.end acted racist , towards me, ,I will talk to a lawyer about this.😡
