My diesel truck broke down on the side of the highway, blew the water pump. I called B&M 2hrs before they closed. Told them my problem and asked if I bring it to them within the hr can you fix it. They ordered the parts and had them waiting for us when we arrived. Treated my truck like it was one of there own. Highly recommended this to any one needed car, truck, and even motorcycle maintenance done! Great guys!

I went to B&M after having bad issues with another mechanic in the area. What the other guy couldn’t complete in 2 weeks, B&M fixed and got me on the road in a day and a half. The other guy quoted me over $800, my total at B&M was a little over $300. Bob and Archie was kind enough to explain to me everything that was going on and kept me informed on everything. I will definitely be bringing my F350 back to them from now on!!

Was not happy with service here. They told me absolutely nothing was wrong with my transmission, they said all of my mounts were broke and that was the source of problem. They was supposed to call me once they found the mounts to replace them. I'm still waiting on that call and it's been 3months. Needless to say I got all the mounts fixed and guess what still having the problem I was having before I took it to them. They charged me $40 to diagnose my problem. They are the only automotive place that I have ever had to pay to diagnose the issue. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone EVER! If I were you I would take it to any place other than B&M, but if you want great work done along with GREAT SERVICE, I recommend Humans BP on Western Ave. Mike is honest and good! He will NEVER charge to diagnose problem and he will NEVER EVER overcharge you!

I have used this company for years NEVER HAD A PROBLEM with them til now. My car stop running my husband called Bob on Monday evening to let him know we were having it pulled to them (6-10) he said ok and NOT ONE TIME did he mentioned they were behind all he said is he had a worker with some kind of injury. I called Tuesday ( 6-11)and spoke to Bob bc no one had called me to let me know anything I asked had they looked at it he said nope I didn’t think anything bc they have always been good in the past. I called back Wednesday (6-12) asked him the question I was told no they hadn’t looked at it and didn’t know when he could bc he was short handed and there was 40 cars in front of yes u read right 40!!!!! Cars in front of me Needless to say with no call and kept up to date and just not being told anything. I had to have triple a pull To Webb’s on Emory on Wednesday evening about 2 pm Brain called me wanted to know what was going on I told him, he called me Thursday around 12 or 12:30 he told what was wrong and said if he had my blessings he would get them started on it and should be ready by that afternoon by 4:00 he had it ready and I picked up about 5:15 Thursday evening needless to say I probably will have a new mechanic

I had hit a curb on a Saturday evening, and blew two tires. I came to a stop right in front of B&M. I managed to get my pickup truck into their parking, and left it for the weekend. Monday morning I checked in with Marty, and he worked me in, and got me two tires. He also checked underneath, and found no damage. Good service, fair pricing - I will use them again.

I have taken my Nissan Titan truck there a couple of times and they have always fixed any problems I have had. Had my brother take his Chevy Tahoe there after a local Chevy dealer gave him really bad service and didn't fix anything. The guys at B & M are personable and professional. Never had any problems with repairs and they are reasonably priced. Bob and Archie are honest and if something doesn't need to be fixed they will tell you and find the real problem. I highly recommend these guys.

I really wanted to like these guys. They were very friendly and took their time initially talking through my van's issues. However, I called a few days in advance and made sure they would be willing to look at my van when I needed them to, and it ended up sitting there for almost 2 days. They quoted me around $100 to do initial diagnostics which I thought included a leak test. I had to pick up my van early because they said they wouldn't get to it for another 3 days. They charged me more than $100 with no leak test and no diagnostic print outs. They hooked up the scan tool (took 10 minutes) when I got there and I had to take a picture of the codes with my phone. AutoZone does this for free. Again, nice guys, but the service was a little disappointing.

Three of our vehicles have gone in here, and we've been pleased each time. Two had appointments and were out same day, one didn't and took for days to fix a somewhat exotic issue. Replaced brakes, rotors, and calipers on a small sedan. Work was done quickly and was very nicely priced. They still work great six months later, so I'm pleased with the job their mechanics did. Fixed the heat/air on a pickup. Took the day to do because a part had to be ordered, but reasonable time frame, considering. Very reasonable price, as well. Still working great, so husband is happy with the job. Fixed the air on a small suv that had been in multiple times for the same issue at another place. This one took four days, but we also hadn't made an appointment and it turned out not to be what we had been told was the problem. From the first place, we kept getting the car back as fixed only to have the ac quit working in the same day. Four trips there, and we were told it would be $1800 to replace the compressor. Took it to B&M, and they looked beyond the obvious. Turns out it was an electronic thermostat switch that had died, and $400 later, the system runs as well as it did 14 years ago when it was new. True these guys. They're honest and dependable, and I highly recommend their work. 10 stars, fellas!

Would give them a ZERO rating but 1 star was only one available. Nightmare of an experience!! DO NOT for any reason take your vehicle to this place. Had a quote from another shop that was extremely high (around $1700) and called around. Gave the owner Bob the car make and model and exact items that needed to be fixed. he quoted me “around $600”. I told him he better be sure bc I was having to pay $200 to get towed to him. He assured me around that price and they get to it immediately. After they got it, Gary, who was very professional, told me it would be around $1250, but they couldnt find the Starter. I found the starter myself and they still quoted me $950. I asked for a quote to emailed to me before they started on the heater hoses, and that they needed to help w the labor bc we were way off on the $600 quote. NOTE: other than Monday, I never got a call from them. Had to call each day. Even though we had snow, they were open everyday. Late Friday, I called to check on the quote and settle on price after I got the starter. The owner, Bob, lied and told me hoses had been changed. I asked about the $600 quote and he said “I get hundreds of calls everyday and I tell them all $600”. I told him that was bad business and that I had it towed to him specifically bc of that. I asked about not being contacted all week and not receiving a quote before the work and he said they hadnt done any work. He continued to make excuses and being smart and unprofessional and then hung up on me. I called back and said “you have my car, hanging up on me isnt acceptable” I then told him I wouldnt be having them do the work and he Hung up on me again. I immediately drove over and asked for my keys. The owner was sitting there and had a sharpening file in his hand. bear in mind I was never hostile or threatened the man. No idea why he had a file. The entire ordeal was nuts!! Never Again!!

Great service and a terrific group of guys. I would definitely recommend letting B&M take care of your automotive service needs. If your looking for dependable and knowledgeable mechanics you found them. I was pleasantly surprised by the curtious service I received from all the guys who work at B&M. After speaking with 2 other customer in the waiting room I know this is just how they do business. The problem I was having was with my 2004 ford explorer 4x4. I had been told by 2 other mechanics, the grinding noise when making a turn, was either the differential or the transfer case. BIG MONEY! After thoroughly inspecting the entire underside of the explorer and a couple of test drives the guys at B&M figure out what was wrong; three U-joints and an additive needed to be put into the differential fluid. Not only did they find the problem but they saved me at least $1000! The work was completed the next day and now the explorer is behaving just as it should. Thank you B&M! You guys are the best and next time you'll be my first call. Your in my contacts now😉

I had an amazing experience here at B & M! Both my mom and I had been having problems with our Toyota Priuses, this is the closest shop that works with hybrids but unfortunately we live about an hour and 15 minutes away. Boy am I glad that we drove this whole way! We arrived there as they opened and told them about the cars problems and stayed to chat for a while. Marty, the main mechanic mentioned how they had been operating with just two employees and the manager because everyone else had quit. Because of that they were unsure how soon they could get to my car. I wasn’t super happy about that but I understood that it was out of there control. Because I was trying to leave shortly for the start of school, I really didn’t have much time to waste, but again, they couldn’t do much about it. My mom and I had about a days worth of errands to run around Knoxville so we told Marty that we would be around for that day in case they miraculously finished with the car. About an hour or two before they closed we got a call about the car. Unfortunately, my car was totaled, but because they were so fast with their diagnosis I still have plenty of time to figure out what to do as far as school goes. I would highly recommend coming here for your auto repairs. They were very considerate to my need for quickness even through their rough times, they were all very personable and I really enjoyed standing there listening to them talk, and so if ever I come back after college, they have gained themselves a customer for life. I really appreciate these guys! After moving from out of state and having a solid mechanic you have trusted for over 14 years, it's like having to find a new doctor too! I am so thankful I found these guys! They have been so helpful and honest every single time! When I first moved here, I worked for UPS using my vehicle out of Oliver Springs. Let's just say that was not good. I've had issues ever since. Going up and down mountains was hard on my vehicle, and unfortunately, my light came on. I knew it was the transmission. I took it in, and they went thru it and told me they would check out everything they could and get back to me. Sadly, it was my transmission. They were super kind, and we decided it would be better to just get another vehicle, and they agreed. I really appreciate their honesty and hard work! Like I told them when I left...I will be back with the new vehicle because I know I found my mechanics for life here in Tennessee!

Had electrical / computer issues. Fixed issue to where the truck would operate just without dome lights. I had the truck towed round trip by AAA. The mechanic was reasonable. Still works to this day 3 years later. 😁 This it my third repair from B &M Automotive and greatful for having my truck back in service. Professional , respectful and pleasant to do business with. Cost was less that estimate. Happy days.
