This place deserves zero stars. My son brought his car here to get warranty work done. They took weeks to diagnose it and get the warranty paperwork done; then the car still wasn’t fixed and they said it was another problem which should be quick. My son’s car was there for over 2 months with promises of getting it fixed under warranty to be told that he would have to pay over $1000 out of pocket and that they still needed more time to get the warranty paperwork approved and order the parts. My son was moving out of town so did not have more time to wait; and in order to pick up his car that still was not working, they required him to pay over $600 out of pocket for a car still not drivable. My son ended up paying to get possession of his car and took his car to a new place in his new location, and the new place fixed the problem immediately with no out of pocket charges. Please do not go here. This place is a rip off and they will baffle everything with bs to scam young people, women and people out of their money. This is not an isolated incident as we saw another guy complaining about them having his car for weeks without any repair also. Go somewhere honest. The mechanics are nice but the owner is a crook.

I have to admit one thing. My car spent almost 3 weeks here at the shop. There were numerous factors, the most important problem being the enigma for which my vehicle was being worked on in the first place. With that said, anytime I called for an update, I was given the update. And they called me for updates. In my humble opinion, the customer service is amazing, the techs are excellent and the owner makes sure that the customer is happy before said customer leaves. Same goes for the front desk guy. I sincerely appreciate him and sincerely apologize for not remembering his name, but his loyalty to the shop and the customer is unmatched by any I have known!!!

My sister and I recently took our homeless brother's car to Beach Auto Repair on Saturday, February 7th, for some major repairs. The driver side wiper wasn't working(even after our having replaced both blades); the passenger side mirror was gone; the driver side window wouldn't close all of the way; and the coolant system needed major work. Dave Fischer, General Manager was gracious enough to do the work on Saturday after learning about our situation. When the mirror had to be ordered, we had to leave the car over the weekend, and Mr. Fischer assured us the car would be ready Monday by noon so that we could leave Norfolk and get me to the Richmond airport by 2:30. On Monday, Brian Simmons, Lead Tech and Shop Foreman, went out of his way to get a mirror when the wrong one was delivered. He actually sent an employee to Suffolk(a 45 minute drive each way) to get a mirror in time to replace it. Then, when we were to pay the bill, we learned that he had greatly reduced the cost and had included the window which we had opted not to repair. Also, he graciously offered to divide the bill so that we could both pay an equal amount. I cannot give a rating high enough to reflect the lengths to which Dave and Brian went in order to assist our brother. I highly recommend this business!!!

Beware of this place!! I came for a tune up and was informed that the cost of the spark plugs was included. When I went to pay the elderly gentleman wanted to charge me over $500 to replace four spark plugs. I stated you are crazy I have never paid over $500 for a tune up mind you my car is fairly new a 2023. Then when I went to pay he states it was a $14 charge to use the credit card machine. I asked him I have never paid that much to pay a bill. Then he says I will let you pay for free. Not cool DO NOT go there as a woman truly took advantage of me. NOT COOL!!!!

I called for availability for state inspection at 2:15 p.m. by 4:00 p.m. I was riding out with a state inspection. It took them roughly 30 to 45 minutes to complete which is still not that bad. I called to get an appointment first thing Monday morning, they were able to fit my son‘s car in, give me a diagnosis and recommendations with in a few hours. BEWARE Of this place if I can give it a zero I would when I first got my car from here. I had no issues. Everything was smooth sailing. Everyone was very nice. No problems at all. I’ve only had this card for 10 months and the car has already stopped working when I took it to them. They gave me the runaround the first week. They didn’t even know that I had the car the second week they lost the keys to my car the third week. They told me It was an electrical problem then they told Me they miss diagnose the car after that they told me that once they re-diagnosed it everything was OK. They were just waiting for the warranty to send them the check. They called me again and told me that the warranty people Has to come back out and view the car again once I talk to the warranty people they told me that they’ve been told this dealership they were not fixing my car once I talk to the owner Dave he yelled at me. He’s very rude and very nasty towards women. DO NOT get your car from here.

Discussed a price on a simple task upon completion they had raised the price roughly 30%. When I asked about the change in price that it occurred over the last 20 minutes The individual had poor customer service skills and was not well spoken whatsoever thus contributing to a negative experience. I would not recommend this location for any repairs or servicing.

I had a great experience with this repair shop. I needed to replace all of my engine mounts and called early in the morning to see if they could fit me in. They were able to get my vehicle in the same day, and I had it back later that afternoon, which was incredibly convenient. The price was very reasonable and fair compared to other quotes I received, but what really stood out was the customer service. The staff was professional, friendly, and took the time to explain everything clearly. It’s hard to find a shop that is both honest and efficient, but this one delivered on both. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing reliable auto repairs.
