I have been looking for a good place to take my car, and this is it! You can tell they care about what they do and the customer! Shawn fixed a coolant leak and discovered the last place I took it to put the oil filter on incorrectly. They ordered the part I needed and changed my oil. Learn from me, don't take your car to a place that does not have a real mechanic! Take it to Bear Mountain Auto!

I dont recommend anyone take their vehicle to this place!!! They had my truck for 2 months and did nothing but make it worse I found wires that wasent connected and they didn't do a damn thing I asked them to do they call me and tell me what it needs i tell them to do it and they didn't even do that i wouldn't take my lawn mower to this place!!!!!!

I had such a great experience with Shawn at Bear Mountain!!! He took the time to talk with me and explain exactly what was happening with my car. If I had gone anywhere else I would have gotten taken advantage of for sure and charged probably 2-3 times as much. Shawn is incredibly patient, honest and fair. A regular David Puddy if you will. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough!!

I think that Shawn is the best mechanic that I ever met. I recently had an issue and he fixed it immediately. I will not take my car to anyone else. He is awesome and a very nice and honest. There are so many other dishonest mechanics that I have been to it so nice to have one that is completely honest. I recommend him for any automotive need that anyone may need. He does everything.

Since I was teenager, Shawn Cook has been the only real mechanic that I've ever completely trusted. Anytime he works on anything of mine, I have full confidence that the repair was done correctly and professionally. This is one of the nicest and cleanest shops that I've been in. Everyone that works here is super friendly and honest. This is the only shop that I recommend to people that need work done to their vehicles. If you need repairs, an oil change, alignment, whatever, go to Bear Mountain; they're the best.

He's honest, in an often dishonest business, he's prompt, thorough, extremely knowledgeable and will explain your auto issues to you without leaving your head spinning. His prices are fair and his work is absolutely unmatched - he's a highly skilled professional yet, he's very down-to-earth and very friendly. Shawn is by far the most honest mechanic I've ever encountered. He's always completed the job on time and done high quality work. He gives you legitimate advice, won't do any unnecessary repairs, and his prices are very fair. I won't take my car anywhere else for repairs and would highly recommended him. Over the years I owned a Ford, Shawn saved me thousands of dollars in repairs and uber rides.

These guys are great! I went in August of last year(a little late on leaving a review) and they replaced my drive belt, alternator, and serviced my transmission. They pointed out that I had a leak in my transmission that they were not equipped to work out but recommended me to a place that could. They also tightened my shift linkage free of charge. I also called today because I was having trouble changing one of my headlights. They were able to fit me in and change it for me(took him about 3 minutes). Also free of charge! I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. Thank you for your work!

Since my last review mysteriously got removed, I'll review again, these guys do a great job in everything they do but $500 to replace AC DELCO spark plugs is insane, I can do it in less than 2 hours. Clean shop & good work, just way way too expensive for plugs. Everybody to their own but money is too hard to come bye without being taken. If money is absolutely no problem, then by all means blow it here. Yes, Bear Mtn does a good job. Prices are too high though. The new transmission that was also installed has already kicked the bucket at 2 yrs 11 months & 49k miles, just over the 3/36k warranty, so here I am again spending $5k on another transmission. It seems gm transmissions are totally junk. I've raised my review because Bear mtn didn't make the transmission, just installed it. But no transmission should go out in less than 3 years normal driving conditions, agree?

We had an incredible experience with Bear Mountain Auto! We called early one morning to see about getting our brakes and rotors done that day. They said they could fit us in the same day and would have it ready at the end of the day. They were all extremely friendly and helpful and called to update us throughout the day. I was blown away by their excellent customer service and professionalism! They even test drove our car after it was done and filled up our gas for us. Highly highly recommend and I will be going to only Bear Mountain Auto for any other vehicle needs in the future!!

We are new to the area and happened upon Bear Mountain Automotive completely by chance. We needed someone close by to look at our daughter’s car. Bear Mountain discovered a loose sensor left behind left behind by another Little Rock repair shop. Since September 2024, we have taken two flat tires (construction site) for our Tundra and our daughter’s Acura to Bear Mountain. Shawn replaced the Acura’s front brakes, drums, and an engine gasket. He has always explained what he thinks the problem might be and again before actual repairs are made after he has laid hands on it. He even showed us all the parts he replaced when we picked it up. Very reasonable fees and a very pleasant transaction. I plan to be taking our other car there for service when needed. Highly recommend!
