These guys are great. I was visiting Burlington, and my car broke down on the way. They not only worked me into a busy schedule, but were also honest. They could have recommended a more expensive repair, and I wouldn't have known any better, but they recommended a less expensive fix. It's been a month, and the issue hasn't returned, telling me that the more expensive fix was unnecessary, and they were right in their advice. If I lived in Burlington, I would choose them as my mechanic in a heartbeat.

Really friendly guys, but questionable work and pricing. Dropped my '07 Element off for adjustable upper arms install following issues getting a tire alignment. No issues with that install. But, shop noticed I had a leaky power steering pump, and an oil leak coming from my Vtec system as well. Recommended I replaced my rear springs ($1300), my power steering pump ($550) and rack ($1300), and components impacting the oil leak. Got a 2nd opinion from my home mechanic, who said rear suspension and rack were totally fine but to do the rest of the work. After getting car back, steering was 10x worse than previous (read: no power steering), and dash was lit up like a Christmas tree indicating a Vtec issue that was not present beforehand. Immediately dropped car back off, and they warrantied the power steering pump, but since then I have continued to have the persistent check engine light caused by faulty components in the Vtec system. My suspicion is that at least one of the parts installed to fix the Vtec system were bad as well, but I'm surely not returning to this shop for more work. For those keeping track at home, with the exception of the upper arms, almost every component installed had issues and were clearly not tested or exercised prior to delivering the vehicle back to me. The kicker? I'm handy, so I'm now just debugging these lingering Vtec issues myself - and after reviewing my receipt to order the faulty parts replacements, realized they billed me over double the OEM part price, or even more compared to aftermarket, for all of the components installed. Ultimately, it feels like I was overcharged for (bad) parts and left with more problems than I came with, and so I can't really in good faith recommend this shop to anyone from my own experience.

Last month I bought a used car for my high school aged son to drive. How I wished I had brought it to BW before I purchased it. The mechanics there are clearly well trained and experienced. They know what they are doing and are happy to show all the work. Together we designed a repair schedule which prioritized safety and respected my budget. Once completed, the work came in under estimate. I'm very satisfied with BW and am confident you will be as well.

I had a frustrating experience with this shop and wanted to share what happened. I had a broken screw lodged in the transmission housing on my vehicle, causing the transmission fluid pan to leak. Since the fluid was slowly leaking, I needed to keep topping it off regularly to avoid damaging the transmission. Before scheduling anything, I called the shop and explained the situation. They said they’d take a look, so I dropped the car off after hours and paid for a taxi home. The next morning, they called and said they couldn’t get the screw out and told me to come pick up the car. While I was disappointed they couldn’t remove the screw, I appreciated that they were honest about it rather than trying and potentially making things worse. However, what really bothered me was that I specifically asked them to top off the transmission fluid before I came to get the car, since it had been leaking all night. I even left a full bottle of fluid in the car and told them exactly where it was. When I arrived (after paying for another taxi), the old man at the front desk told me they didn’t add any fluid and that I had to take the car as-is. He made it very clear they had no interest in doing anything beyond that. It just felt like they didn’t care at all about preventing further damage or helping out, even in a very small way. Again, I respect that they didn’t want to take on a repair they weren’t confident in handling. But refusing to top off the fluid — when I asked, supplied the fluid, and explained the situation — really shows a lack of basic customer care. I won’t be going back.

I was looking to purchase a new truck back in August after buying an absolute lemon the year prior. A friend recommended Josh for a pre-purchase inspection. Josh and Chuck happily did a once over before I decided to purchase my Tacoma and it’s because of them I had confidence in moving forward with the sale. They did a complete once over of the vehicle and brought me in to show me any potential areas of concern as well as reasons the truck would be a great purchase.
