We found this place completely by mistake & I’m glad we did. Our truck broke down on the way to Canada from Alabama in Middletown Kentucky. We went to several shops early Saturday morning hoping we can get back on the road quickly . No one would help us. Finally we thought we found someone but they had us in their place of business for 3 hours and tells us they can’t help us after telling us they could fix it. I called Bemudo twice and got no answer. Our trip was in jeopardy. Just when we’re about to give up hope, I received a call from Uche at Bemudo saying he missed my call. We told him our problem and he gave me warning and heads up about my truck and said just bring it to me today. We went and got rental and headed to his shop. When we got there, he greeted us at the door like we were family. He put us at ease about everything while also telling us the problem could be very bad with the truck while also easing our worries. He told us to enjoy ourselves and everything will work itself out. The guy was like God’s angel and we needed him right at that time. You rarely meet random good people who don’t want to rip you off and he is one. We went on to Canada and had a great time, he kept us informed about the truck and was able to fix it with no issues for a great price and above all things, he did the job right. We came and picked up our truck and got home just fine. He even called to check up on us upon our return home. I highly recommend this place for any automotive problem to anyone in the Louisville area. Uche is great person and an honest mechanic. We wished we lived there, that’s how great he treated us. This place is 1000 out of 10. He deserves your automotive concerns because we are glad he addressed ours. Do yourself a favor and choose Bemudo Automotive!

I stumbled upon this place just searching a local automotive shop and I couldn’t be more happy I did. They did absolute wonders for me during this holiday season. I went to vavoline for an oil change which led to a blown engine and had absolutely no idea what to do. Bemudo Auto is the only place I'll ever take my car. Quality service and Uche(The mechanic)treats you like a person and not a payday. He's helped me on multiple occasions. Once I pulled in and he popped a headlight in for me on my way to work, didn't even charge me. That's the kind of place it is. If you're looking for repairs stop going to some name from a commercial that's going to upcharge you for everything. Come to Bemudo and I guarantee you won't find better anywhere else. Period.

Fully read to understand the kind of work this shop does I recently brought my 2011 Mercedes S63 AMG to this shop for an alternator replacement, and that job went great — I clearly communicated what was wrong to them , and I really appreciated their work and reasonable price on that particular job. However, diagnosing a problem seems to be a completely different story. On August 11th, I dropped my car off, requesting a $120 of an hour inspection for a slow external oil leak on the driver-side engine bay. My car was in their shop for a total of 5 hours, and all they did was lift it and shine a flashlight. They observed oil on the oil feed line, the bottom of the turbo, and the oil return line, without cleaning the area at all using degreaser or brake cleaner to properly inspect the source — which normally takes just 10–20 minutes. Based solely on this cursory inspection, they quoted me $7,800 for a turbo repair. This was done without even checking the oil return line, seals, or gaskets, which could easily be leaking and making it appear as though the turbo itself was the problem. To be clear, my car shows no signs of internal turbo failure — no loud turbo noises, no exhaust smoke, and no power loss — which would almost certainly be present if a full turbo replacement were truly needed. Based on my symptoms and experience, it’s 90–95% likely that the issue is limited to a gasket, seal, or oil line — a repair far less expensive than what they quoted, and one that cannot be determined without properly cleaning the area first. The photo below shows exactly how my car was returned after their “thorough” inspection. It’s literally impossible to identify the direct source of a leak without cleaning, yet they made an immediate, high-cost judgment based on guesswork. I ended up refusing to pay for this guesswork inspection and took my car to autobahn motors that’ll actually take their time to clean the area and accurately find where the source of the leak is for a reasonable price of $160. 3 days later UPDATE: few days ago Bemundos said 100% it’s my turbo leaking as explained above but autobahn motors was able to properly and accurately diagnose my issue , it was a cheap oil feed line right above the turbo as I explained thats possibly my issue to Bemundos before dropping my car off went. from a overcharged untrustworthy $7,800 repair quote to my issue being a total of $742.89 for my oil leak repair . DO NOTTTTT BRING YOUR CAR!!! THEY ARE LAZY AND SO NOT WANT TO WORK YOUR CAR FOR A DIAGNOSIS !!!YOU WILL WASTE YOUR TIME THEY INACCURATE AND UNTRUSTWORTHY

This is the only place that I have found that did not shy away from a hybrid vehicle. My AC had a leak in it, under the dash. (2019 Kia Niro EX) Before I took it to this place, I took it to Kia in St. Matthews. They held it for a month, and it took pulling teeth just to get an update from them. I took it to Bemudo and it was done in about a week and have not had any issues since. This is also the nicest crew I have ever met, they are also extremely honest.

Honest and fast service! My vehicle broke down while I was on vacation in KY. It was Friday evening, I was states away from home and was due back to work on Tuesday--so I was freaking out a little bit😱. I was very lucky to find Bemudo after another shop that my insurance company towed me to said they wouldn't be able to even look at my car until the next week! EVERYONE at Bemudo was kind and understanding of my situation. They put in the work and got me back on the road by Monday (it was a big repair that needed parts ordered, so this was no small feat to be done in 2 business days.) If i could give this place more than 5 stars i would. Absolutely amazing! They are understandingly and truly care about their customers. They would do whatever they can to help and they are HONEST. They are not here to just take your money. Their work they do on your vehicle is quality work and done right! The last time i used them they fixed the problem and i havent had issues with that problem they fixed. I am now coming back to them with a different problem and they are guiding me through what direction to take to save as much money as possible. Truly i can not recommend them more. Seriously if you need a mechanic thats going to take care of you they are the best i have ever had the pleasure of doing business with.
