Not pleased with customer service. We had our truck AC go out last year. Bennett's fixed it. Went out again...found additional problems gave quote..$1,600+. They could not repair (too busy)...was during holiday's so we agreed after the first of the year. We have continued since January to get repairs...always getting the "next week We will call you", "next week we will get you in", "we will call you if we get a cancelation". Never willing to put us on the schedule. We have been more than patient. As of today...no more. Poor business practices.

Took my car here bc it had a severe metal scraping noise in the wheels. Turns out my calipers had seized up. Scott and his guys had my problem diagnosed and fixed within an hour or so of me getting there. They did not try to upsell other repairs even though my car is a 2002 and in need of extensive work. He is knowledgeable and honest in his quotes & repairs. I will definitely bring all of my vehicles back to Scott and his crew for repair work!! Bennett’s has always been my 1st choice when picking an auto body shop to fix my cars. Prior to Bennett’s I was definitely paying way too much to have my cars fixed and I am so thankful he was recommended by a close friend. He has always given me the best deal possible and he doesn’t try to add additional repairs that are not needed. I was told I needed a brand new transmission on one of my vehicles I purchased for my niece and he confirmed that was completely not the case and fixed my car for under $600 as opposed to the other Auto body shop that I had previously taken it to and received a quote of over $2,000 with no warranty. They are always very flexible and willing to go the extra step to make sure your car is safe, reliable and won’t break the bank when it is in need of repairs. If a repair that was completed at the shop has a glitch or malfunctions they will look at it and repair it free of charge unless there is something else going on with the car and if so they’re honest and tell you whether or not it’s worth repairing especially on older vehicles. The best place around to get your car fixed is Bennett's Auto!!!! We have been taking our vehicles to Scott for the past 2 years and have never had a bad experience. He and his staff are kind and know everything there is to know about cars. The most important thing is they are HONEST!!!! If you need work done, they do it. If you don't - They don't!! I have even been told I could wait on a repair if I didn't want to do it right then, so I could get the most out of my money spent. I would never take my cars to anyone else. Awesome auto repair shop. This is where I'll be bringing my car from now on. Both Scott & Emanuel are so nice, friendly & caring. I brought my car in for a second opinion on a brake job & they charged me almost $100 less then the other quote. In addition, I was told it would take about an hour; however, it took less than an hour. They are extremely dependable, honest & have high morals. Hard to find in most auto shops. I brought my 2010 F250 6.4 liter to Bennett Auto with multiple issues. When I mean multiple issues every check engine light was on the transmission did not shift correctly essentially nothing worked in the truck. I had just bought this truck at Auction and at Auction you get what you get. The knowledge from Scott and his man Matt is second to none. They were able to find every part needed for my repair and fix it perfectly never have I been to a shop that was able to fix everything in house. I highly recommend Bennett auto repair their professionalism and courtesy is greatly appreciated thanks again for all you’ve done for me you will be seeing me again.

Update: 8/31/22 I wanted to provide an update on my favorite mechanic shop and still the only place my husband and I take our vehicles for service. Scott and Matt are the best! I can still always rely on them to do quality work, provide honest feedback about what needs to be done and at fair pricing. A friend who used to work here with Scott told me that he was good to his employees, honest with his customers, and knowledgeable in his craft. So far in the 2-3 times I've had to bring my wife's Acadia into his shop he has been every bit of that. The dealer told me of some pretty expensive repairs and at a glance it seemed to explain the leak we were having. Instead of taking the dealer's word he thoroughly went over the problem and found no leak where the dealer said. Instead he found a much cheaper leak and fixed it very reasonably. A lot of shops would have seen that as an opportunity to do the expensive work. But Scott, running an honest business, did better. He has since fixed 2 separate and unrelated A/c issues and has been honest timely and fair on price each time. I'll happily recommend this shop and will return whenever I have the need!.

Bennett auto has been helping me with my vehicles for about 12 yrs. I have never been disappointed. Scott has always been there when I needed him. I'm a last minute person and he always accommodates me. Just this week he fixed my jeep grand that has been sitting up too long. There was so much work needed done. I had no idea how much. Scott got right on it and fixed everything I ask and so much more! He found things and did some of them out of the goodness of his heart. Alot of things. His prices r always fair. I have been coming to Bennett's Auto Care for several years and I have always been very happy with the work that was performed! I reached out and spoke to Scott, after a hot grueling weekend with no A/C in the vehicle, hoping to get on their schedule so the issue could be repaired. Scott mentioned they were extremely busy but they would do their best to diagnose the issue so we could try and get it repaired before an upcoming trip. I recently had an excellent experience with Bennett's Auto Repair. As a newcomer to Brandon, finding a trustworthy auto shop was a top priority for me. I called them at 9 AM to inquire if they could fix my Acura ILX, and not only did they offer a reasonable quote, but they also managed to replace my serpentine belt at a fair hourly rate. I coordinated the towing to their location, and impressively, all the work was completed within 6-7 hours on a Monday. The professionalism from the person I spoke to over the phone was reassuring. I also requested to have my old starter back to get some money back from the core, and they handed it over without any issues, which speaks volumes about their transparency. What really stood out to me was their honesty. I had accidentally left money and some lotto tickets (which, unfortunately, were losers) scattered throughout my car because I was in a rush. When I got my car back, not a single dollar or ticket was missing. They are genuinely the real deal. I highly recommend Bennett's Auto Repair for anyone looking for reliable and honest service.
